## . .◜﹫ BACKSTORY OVERVIEW ━ scott was born to two young and hard-working parents , henry and jie yang. henry was born in england , and met jie when she had moved to have a better oppurtunity for a career. scott always loved the attention he got from his parents, which is why he was upset that he was having a little brother. scott and oscar were not very close growing up , but as adults , they were definitley able to handle eachother better.

in 2010 when scott was thirteen , he moved to his mother's hometown so that they could take care of her parents as they got older. at this time , scott had shown an interest in writing poems. he didn't start wanting to dance until early 2012 , when he watched dancing with the stars religiously. he easily put both of his interests together , deciding he wanted to be a popstar , originally , based in china. until he discovered kpop groups like brown eyed girls , super junior , etc , and decided to put his korean speaking skills to use.

his family moved to seoul with him , knowing their son had talent , so that he could audition for different agencies. he was accepted into kiss entertainment , and started his training , and the rest was history. in 2016 , scott and momoland member jane had started dating shortly after her debut. the relationship had lots of miscommunication , and they eventually broke up. it was never revealed to the public , but his solo song "don't" was written about her.
