"Yeori! Over here!" The familiar, bubbly voice of Choi Sooa carried across the road from where she descended from her bus, the dark-haired girl stood waiting by her boyfriend, who offered a smile to Yeori as she crossed the road. "You're dancing again tonight?"

Sooa practically excluded her boyfriend as she linked arms with Yeori, the three beginning to make their way up the long driveway to the red-leaf coloured school.

"Of course I'm dancing." Yeori shrugged off the tone of worry she could hear. "I'm always dancing... but tonight is one of my actual classes rather than just going to the studio." She added in a mumble, Sooa meeting Taehoon's eyes behind her back and shaking her head.

"All you do is dance. Come shopping with me for a change. Maybe tomorrow? Or the day after? We can get bubble tea, go play games, go get makeup and clothes and then get food before going home." Sooa suggested, a smile on her face as she nudged her friend's side with her elbow. "Come on.... come on. You know you want to."

"Fine." Yeori didn't even feel like protesting - and Sooa did have a point; there was a massive part of her leaning towards going, even if there was something deep down that pushed her to go and dance, even if it seemed obsessive at some point. "I do want to."

"Good. We'll have fun... you can't come." Sooa glanced over at Taehoon, playful grin on her face before her jaw dropped, eyes wide. "She's absolutely beautiful!" She exclaimed.

"Who?" Yeori turned, looking to the side just in time to see an - as Sooa suggested - extremely pretty girl walk past them and towards the school, leaving an entourage of practically swooning boys behind. "Oh wow."

"Aphrodite is reborn!" Taehoon was next to layer on the compliments, only to get a swift dig to his ribs from Yeori. "I mean.. I mean.." He glanced over at Sooa, struggling to find the words. "You are the only Aphrodite I see."

"Idiot." Yeori muttered, pulling her arm from Sooa so the couple could reunite. "I have to put this in my locker and hand in that form about data and social media that... and they're not listening."

She turned away from them, making a beeline towards the main entrance and slipping around the new girl. Yeori was on a mission now; to try and get both things done before class. By putting her bag in her locker, she could also put her backpack by her seat and get rid of any unnecessary baggage, and if she handed in the form now before break or lunch, there wouldn't be anything to worry about.

And she managed to do just that, rushing into the classroom and answering a barrage of greetings before placing her bags away by her desk or in her locker, extracting not only the signed slip from her dad out of her bag but also one of the snacks he had given her; the form should have been in a week ago, but given her grades and having played a game of favourites with the teachers since joining, Yeori thought she could manage to get away with it.

Making her way to one of the lower floors, Yeori reached the teachers' office with ease, slipping through the open door just in time to see the vice-principal begin to rave about Lee Suho, who was stood right in front of her. And across from them was the new girl, who was by Mr Han.

"And another one of our top students!" Mr Kim explained in a booming voice. "Is that honey butter?" He asked, peering over at the familiar yellow packaging.

"Yes..." Yeori glanced across to Mr Han, who offered a tight-lipped smile. "Good morning Suho." She murmured, feeling somewhat uneasy as she escaped the clutches of Mr Kim and passed the rather cold, uncommunicative fellow top student.

Suho just nodded curtly, watching as Mr Han turned towards Yeori, who handed him the paper and packet of chips. "I'm sorry it was in late. Everything got very busy all of a sudden." She bowed sheepishly, watching as he took the somewhat of a bribe.

"Next time-" Mr Han began.

"I know. It'll be on time." Yeori nodded. "Is she in our class?" She asked, turning her attention towards the new girl.

"Yes. Kwon Yeori, this is Lim Jugyeong. Are you busy? You could help show her around." Mr Han asked. Glancing at the new girl, who smiled and waved slightly, Yeori shrugged.

"I was supposed to make sure my place in my class later was confirmed... after homeroom I could. But maybe Lee Suho could show her? He is our top student." Yeori turned on her heel, looking up at Suho, who was glaring at her. "Top student, Mr Han."

"You're quite right." Mr Han said. "Lee Suho?"

And with a grin up at the much taller boy, Yeori began to make her way back towards the door. She turned just for a moment, to see Suho try and get out of it. "Lim Jugyeong, pleased to meet you!" She called over her shoulder, before beginning to make her way back to the classroon.

If the new girl happened to be in her class, it was more than likely that they would end up as friends - perhaps Jugyeong would join herself, Sooa and Soojin, and form a group of four as opposed to three and Taehoon coming along when his girlfriend managed to convince him to do so.

Sooa was beaming as they got back, looking even more excited than before as Yeori informed her that the new girl was in their class - something about pretty people attracting good luck to them all before she was ushered towards her seat by Suho entering the classroom, dodging the high-five from Taehoon as he did so.

He seemed to have something like makeup in his back, harsh face already directed towards the corridor before disappearing out into it once more. "Hey, Lee Suho!" Yeori turned in her seat across to the window, which was two seats from where the top student was sat. "If you always look so grumpy one day the wind will change and you'll never smile again."

"That's true." Taehoon chimed in, leaning forward as he took the seat behind Yeori. "My cousin-"

"Are you sure it wasn't you?" In complete contrast, Sihyun - in the seat in front of the Kwon girl - chimed in, obvious joking tone shining through.

"Hey!" Taehoon exclaimed, but it was no use fighting back; Mr Han had just entered the classroom, ushering Jugyeong in from the corridor alongside him.

"Taehoon, you are beautiful just the way you are!" The teacher began, a series of cringing noises following his statement. Mr Han had always been like this, and whilst it was sweet in retrospect, sometimes it was just so.. wince-worthy. "As of today, Lim Jugyeong will be joining our class." He gestured to the girl beside him, head turning to face her. "Would you like to say hello?" He  asked.

The girl looked somewhat embarassed, lifting her hand in a jilted wave. "Hi, it's nice to meet you." She greeted, instantly met with calls of compliments to how pretty she was. Nobody could disagree; Jugyeong was absolutely gorgeous.

"We're now a better looking class!" Hyunkyu erupted into cheers, fist raised and punching upwards.

Mr Han shook his head, tutting affectionately. "Ahn Hyunkyu, don't you say that, because you are all beautiful in my eyes." He held a hand to his heart, even in the face of all the strange expressions he was receiving. "You look beautiful from a distance and even more stunning up close."

"Mr Han, are you going to be like this all day?" Yeori called, sitting up in her seat. "Because I have to see you twice again and I don't think I can take it. Do you have to be so cheesy?"

"I know you're not aware of how beautiful you are." Mr Han waved away Yeori's complaints. "But being eighteen makes you the most stunning people ever, so don't try so hard to look better. Especially you, Sooa."

"Got it." The dark haired girl groaned her response, chin resting on her palms.

"Must you be so serious all the time?" Several seats away, directly behind Yeori, Taehoon was complaining again. But his opinion was shared by all, and groans of agreement came forward.

Finally, they fell quiet and Mr Han took to finding Jugyeong a seat. "Jugyeong.. let's see. The seat next to Suho's is vacant." He pointed it out, and even the new girl seemed to have picked up the seriousity she would face, shaking her head.

"You have to be carefully sitting there." Yeori mumbled, leaning forward in her seat to see Suho's head snapping towards her. "Just one gust of wind and - poof - you never smile again."

"I'm sure Suho smiles all the time, Yeori." Mr Han shook his head. "Jugyeong, don't take what she's saying seriously. Is that seat okay for you?" He asked.

"Well, you see, I have bad eyesight." Jugyeong replied hurriedly. No matter whether she was taking it seriously or not, it didn't seem appealing for her to sit beside Suho.

"Is that so?... That seat besides Yeori belongs to another student on a break... and when Seojun comes back he'll want to sit next to her and-" Mr Han was cut off by a suddenly silent classroom, Yeori clearing her throat and averting her eyes down to her desk, suddenly extremely interested in drawing over the cover of her notebook.

"Mr Han." Sihyun whispered in a somewhat conspiratorial manner - it failed; the classroom was too quiet and each student could hear every hissed whisper. "Don't you remember? Seojun and Yeori broke up before he went on break.."

"Oh." Mr Han blinked, eyes back on Yeori. "I'm so sorry - you should have let me know."

"It's fine." Yeori waved him off. "Jugyeong, come sit. Seojun can make some sacrifices." She reached over and patted the desk beside her, Jugyeong confirming it quickly with Mr Han before moving to sit down, bowing and greeting Yeori at the same time.

Yeori hated sitting alone anyway.
