"Mom told me they'd come next month..." She was recalling the sentences, reciting them to izuku who listened, letting her take time and space to tell him everything.

Her room was quiet for a while, the lights in the hallway casting a dull hue in the darkness, it was enough to see each other's faces and the numb expression on her face dictating what was stirring inside, however, she felt no need to take her eyes off her hands yet.

"That means... They'll know about my pregnancy, and-and... What am I supposed to do? After today, I'm sure they'll abandon me, after what my sister did I doubt they could trust me." she hung her head low and brought her hands up to cover her face, "They'll know... I'll have to listen to them every single day recounting what happened, why..."

"I just wanna be free from everyone..." Her body curled in further, izuku didn't know how to comfort her with the problems at hand how she'd gotten unstable as days went on and on, and how he was worried about her mental state, picking a route to tackle everything at once seemed impossible. So he took a tiny step forward.

"Everything will be okay, you have to tell them everything, what happened isn't your fault and they should know that." he set his hand on her shoulder, smiling softly when she stopped sobbing, and peered up at his face, "I'll help you, all the way till the end, it's going to be alright." she lifted her head high looked him in the eye, and her lips trembled.

"I wanna believe you..." she muttered, hanging her head low again, "but I can feel it in my guts that something bad is gonna happen again, it's either my parents or... Katsuki." she leaned in close and breathed out, "I don't know why but I feel like I'm going crazy every time I think about him, he has to know that I'm alive and he's just waiting for the right chance to pounce!!"

Something about the way she spoke changed after mentioning her tormentor, he deemed it must have been fear influencing her but her frantic movement and speech all pointed to a different perspective. She was about to tumble down a dark road. That could not be good for the child or her.

He had to do something.

"Calm down, he can't know where you are." he tried to be logical, he tried to reassure with the softest tone he could muster but when she seized his arm in her dense grasp he could see her facial muscles distorted into something he'd only seen on desperate and dying villains. In each second, her voice becomes more and more breathless.

"No- you don't know understand- he had a tracking device connected to me when I tried to escape! He knew exactly where to find me when I used my quirk, he knew where I went and- and, I ended up back from where I started! If only he let me die in that accident, this wouldn't be happening!!" She glanced at the windows in her room, almost as if she were expecting to be ambushed anytime. Turning her widened eyes back to him, she breaks.

"I can't take this anymore... I don't want to live worrying every day when he realizes I didn't die in that hellhole and you came to save me, he'll... Never let me go again."

"You can't give up so easily [Y/N]..."

"I know..." she cried out. "I- I don't know how to deal with things anymore." She threw her hand up to wipe away the angry tears sweeping down one of her cheeks, her lips quivering, and if he comprehended anything from watching victims suffer, he knew things were dire.

"I get it, it's not easy but I can help, you gotta tell me everything from the beginning. What happened that night?" the best place to start was to gather information, needing to help without a plan just wouldn't help in most cases. He needed to be decisive for her.

She looked down, held her hand, almost as if trying to console herself and digging nails into her skin, and then she stopped moving, he could sense she was preparing herself to tell him everything that went down, knowing it wasn't going to be easy for her, he waited.

With a sudden urgency, she opened her mouth.

"I was getting ready to leave..."

"The night before I quit my job I decided to book a ticket. He showed up at my house the night before and spoke to me, I didn't say anything back." she started again after drawing in a breath, "I don't know how he got to my address and I don't know how he got in, but he did and I couldn't escape, he drugged me, drove me to his home and I was trapped there until you saved me."

"You tried to escape, right?" izuku asked, "Yes, I did. It was honestly a fool's plan. I managed to get outside though, he had a tracking device set to me I didn't know about at that time. He kept finding me, and I got desperate enough to throw myself at a passing car." she laughed, casting a glance toward izuku she weakly smiled, "Quite the story, don't ya think? Do you think the police will ever believe this?"

"I believe you, and they will too with proof," he answered, and she took the cue to proceed with her narrative.

"He nursed me back to health, during that time you and your two friends came to visit, he had me gagged and tied my hands and legs, since he was in a hurry and panicked, he forgot to bind my restraints to the bedpost, so I pushed myself over the bed and got your attention. The pain wasn't nice."

Izuku eyes lid up, "I couldn't get the sound out of my head, now I know why. I'm so sorry I couldn't help you back then."

She dejectedly chortles, displaying a sad smile and slowly enveloping her finger around her tummy, "It couldn't be helped," she mused, gradually caressing her stomach and drifting off to her thoughts, izuku observed her and wondered if she was nervous or anxious at all. If he should stop and not dig deeper.

He could guess what happened next, from the way she suddenly had a sad glint in her eyes and her palm resting on her belly, he could not blindfold himself to the truth when the signs were showing themselves and how regret was seeping in and displaying all over his freckled plain face, he bowed his head and bit his lip.

She noticed it, and replied letting out a chuckle, "I couldn't stay a virgin forever..." She grinned and joked to alleviate some of his guilt, sighing and leaning back on the wall, staring up at the ceiling and some of the memories far from yesterday invaded her notion, how'd she done it when she couldn't leave that dread-filled room.

"I'm sorry." the hopeful shine in his eyes dies down and izuku nibbles his lip harder, feeling shameful for not having saved her sooner. She turned her face away from him and resumed.

"For a while, I managed to stay sane with him, and then Aoi arrived out of nowhere. I was alone, and she knew the passcode that even I didn't know, she told me that he had bullied her after I left and made her life hard to lead, said she wanted revenge, and that I was a good place to start." she frowned.

"You know the drill, I got beaten down and eventually she knocked me out, I don't know how she got her hands on a bomb or how she managed to light the house on fire, but I was going to die if you hadn't taken the risk."

"Right, her quirk might have helped with that."

"With what?"

"Guessing the passcode, her quirk allows her to tell the future or past of an object. From there, she could have assumed."

"Oh, yeah I guess she mentioned that, but." she sat up straight, "I wanna know how you found me just in time to save me though?" she tilted her head.

"It was a... miracle. I was trying to track down Aoi's trace so that it could lead back to the villain group smuggling drugs, weapons, and illegal substances. With that excuse, I was keeping a close eye on Kacchan's location after I visited him, surveilling nearby CCTVs to learn anything. Then I saw her spotted by the streets, I connected the dots and rushed over."

"She was out to kill me and if you hadn't arrived when you did, I wouldn't be talking right now."

Clasping her shoulder, izuku stared into her eyes and responded, "You did a great job, you survived well on your own and I couldn't save you the first time and the second time." she peeked up at him, and nodded with reluctance, pressed her lips together and looked down, their faces were so close she could feel his breath on her cheek.

"I don't hold any grudge against you for not saving me any sooner." she smiled, "if it's not too much to request..." she slanted back from the shy embrace and looked into his eyes.

"Can I ask for a hug?" Izuku smiled and giggled, gently bringing her into his arms and caressing her hair. Hoping this would make amends for having her remember things she'd rather forget.

"Kirishima, bail me out."

Katsuki snarled into the telephone, anxiously tapping his boots onto the cement floor and balancing his body on the arm tensed against the wall, seconds away from blowing up anything he touched, "They took my phone, idiot." he straightens himself, stiff and ready to fight if he could.

"I'll pay you back, just bail me the hell out of this station." he furrowed his eyebrows, took a small step back, and answered the worried voice on the other line, "The reason doesn't matter, get me out and I'll explain what I can." he put his hand on his lips and held his head up, listening to the phrases, and almost losing his temper.

"Fucking- Kirishima! Just bail me out! It isn't that hard! I choked a detective because he got on my nerves!" he slammed his fist into the wall, he gripped the handle of the telephone harder, clenching his fist and digging into his palms.

"It's his fault for taunting, some villain burned down my house and he questioned me like I'm some goddamn suspect!"

"Come on! I had a pretty good fucking reason, I need my stuff back and I'm gonna kill that motherfucker." Katsuki retorted, side-eyeing the officers who passed by him.

"...just get me out." he meant a threat before hanging up on his friend, pushing the telephone in its place he walked out of the room and quickly saw two officers escorting him, of course, they were gonna swarm him if he tried anything.

If they didn't oblige his humble proposal, he had connections to make it happen, he was giving them a choice, Katsuki thinks as he is thrown back into the cell with two fearful criminals keeping their distance and minding their business. Besides, he's sure they can see how mad he is by his face alone, they wouldn't want to make things worse.

Eyeing some other prisoners in the opposite cell, he glared at them all, narrowing his eyes and waiting impatiently, wondering where his idiot of a friend was, what was taking him so long? Sitting down, he thought back on things, subconsciously gritting his teeth with a scary look on his complexion.

Was he set up? Or was it just a coincidence that someone managed to get a clear shot of him tackling her and picking her up, if he had his phone he could see the full footage, if he had been truly focused on getting her into his car, he overlooked someone who was watching them.

He had been careful, but not careful enough. It'll hurt his reputation, and his image unless he does something, someone had either ratted him out or the info he got through someone by illegal means had sabotaged him, but he knows who they are in the food chain they know not to piss him off. He can cross that out of the list.

Climbing through the hero ranks had not been for nothing, however, he ended up with a lot more enemies, when he was just a student, getting the kind of information he does now would have been impossible.

All he has to do is narrow the names and with any hints, it'll become clearer who leaked and recorded him.

The iron bars screeched as it opened, and Katsuki looked up, feeling content that his grinds were paying off, and walked out with big steps, he had only been there for an hour at best.

He soon met up with Kirishima who waited till he got out, he wasn't smiling though, and without needing any words they both started walking towards the entrance, they understood inside the station was not a good place to talk secrets.

"I had to pull a lot of strings bakugo..." Kirishima calmly mumbled.

"Thanks... I'll pay you back." his friend looked at him, "You gotta tell me everything."

"After we leave this shithole," Katsuki responded. Knowing the first thing he'll do is find her body, he deserved that at least.

Whoever did it, had hell to pay.
