"Hyung!"

Sunoo waved his hand at the boy taking something from a locker. But that wasn't his locker.

"Who's?" Sunoo asked, leaning his shoulder on the locker beside.

"Niki's. He told me to give his math homework to the teacher since he'll be gone for the game." Jake smiled, closing the locker with the papers in his hand.

"By the way, where were you yesterday?"

Sunoo gulped, panic rushing through his body. What was he suppose to say? The truth? That he skipped school with Runa? Oh hell nah, he can't get in trouble.

"I-I got sick and went home yeah!" Sunoo made up a lie, making Jake put his hand on the younger's forehead.

"Are you okay now?" Jake pouted, making Sunoo giggle.

"I'm fine hyung."

"Well let's go to the faculty and sign an excuse paper, since I'm going there to drop off Niki's math homework." Sunoo nodded, as the older wrapped his arm around his shoulder.

"Oh by the way, you wanna go watch Niki and Jay's game after school? Heeseung will drive us there!" Jake asked brightly. Jake was very supportive of his friends, he was such a precious human being, always looking in the positive and being happy for others.

"Heeseung hyung has a drivers license?" Sunoo asked, as the older nodded.

"Hm, sure. I have nothing to day anyways.."

Morning classes were over and it meant lunch time have arrived. Sunoo started to get worried since he hasn't seen Runa all day, bad thoughts were running through his head.

What if she didn't get home safely?

Sunoo bit his lip and closed his locker, flinching from the figure in front of him.

Why does she always pop out of nowhere-

"Hi Sunoo!" Runa said with her high pitched voice, as Sunoo smiles at her.

"Are you doing anything after school?" She asked, jumping around like a little baby.

"Uh well me, Jungwon and the hyungs are going to go see Jay hyung and Niki's basketball match after school."

Runa lifted her head up, gulping as she heard Niki's name.

"Do you wanna co-"

"YES!"

Sunoo raised an eyebrow, getting startled from her sudden shout.

"U-uh I mean, sure!" Runa stuttered and giggled, linking her arms with Sunoo's as she dragged him to the cafeteria.

Runa didn't want to appear being desperate to see Niki, so she immediately kept her mouth shut. She had a small smile plastered on her face whilst walking, she sure does hope Niki wins his game.

"We're here." Heeseung stopped the car and parallel parked it, as the rest took their seatbelts off.

Jungwon gasped whilst looking at the window, the stadium was HUGE.

"Wah, it's so big!" Jungwon happily said, getting out of the car and jumping around. He can't wait to watch Jay play, he can't wait to see Jay happy and hugging him.

"The stadium's getting packed." Heeseung says, dragging Jungwon with him as Runa, Sunoo, Sunghoon and Jake walked together.

"Didn't know Niki could play basketball!" Runa smiled.

Lies.

"We were surprised too. The first time we met him, he was cold and shy. But as soon as he opens up to you, his inner extrovert comes out." Jake sighs, trying not to cry over Niki growing so fast.

"You guys wanna look for Jay and Niki first?" Heeseung offers, as everyone nodded. They sure did want to say Good luck to their friends before the game.

The 6 of them went to the back of the court, going inside the locker rooms to see Jay using his phone. It looked like he was on a call.

"What do you mean you're still practicing?! Get back here already, the game is starting in 15 minutes!" Jay growled, ending the call furiously.

"Oh, hey guys!" Jay smiled, hugging all of them.

"Where's Niki?" Jake asked.

"At the back of the court. There's an extra hoop ring back there so he said he's 'practicing'." Jay rolled his eyes, fixing his gym bag before offering a seat on the bench for them.

"Can you guys please get him? He's so stubborn.."

They all looked at each other for a second, before putting their fingers on their noses.

"NOT IT! Sunoo, you go."

"WHAT? Why me?! I wasn't even playing!"

"It's not a game, Sunoo. Just go get Niki, it's not that hard."

Sunoo groaned and rolled his eyes back, walking away and making sure to hit Heeseung's shoulder on his way.

Sunoo kept mumbling words, putting before pushing the metal doors open, seeing a sweaty Niki shooting hoops.

Sunoo widened his eyes and turned around, slapping his red face.

N-no Kim Sunoo! You do NOT find that hot, you do NOT.

"Hey."

Sunoo slowly turned around and met eyes with Niki, who was raising an eyebrow at him.

"What are you doing here?" Niki asked, going back to what he was doing. Playing.

"W-well I was gonna watch your game with the hyungs. Jay told me to get you and-"

"Okay, you sure are sweet, Kim." Niki chuckles, throwing the ball to Sunoo, who surprisingly catched it but was caught off guard.

"What are you doing out here anyways?" Sunoo asked, throwing the ball back to Niki.

"Stress relief. I know someone I hate is gonna watch me so.."

Sunoo gulped and looked around, pointing his finger at himself.

"I-is it me?"

Niki turned his head at Sunoo, walking towards him with the ball in his arm.

"Hm. I used to hate you. But you're not so bad after all." Niki gave him a small smile, going out ahead before Sunoo, who was stuck in his place.

Sunoo turned around as his breathing gets heavy, glaring at Niki's walking figure from afar.

"Tch, flirty boy."

It was now a tie, Niki and Jay's team were 23 points and their rival team was 23 points as well. They only needed 2 more points to win, and they were doing great!

Sunoo and the others, of course they cheered for their 2 friends, it's what friends do. Heeseung can't be any happier that Niki's out there playing, Jungwon can't be any more excited for Jay, and Runa can't help but smile, seeing Niki play so lively.

Jay was currently running around the court, bouncing the ball around before blocking a rival and throwing the ball in the hoop.

"I LOVE YOU, JAY HYUNG!"

Runa, the hyungs and the people around them looked at Jungwon who was standing up, looking everywhere. He himself was shocked at what he said. Jungwon coughs and sits back down, blushing whilst making eye contact with Jay, who was smiling widely.

"Giving me much Gabriella and Troy vibes." Heeseung sips from his soda container, earning a punch on his arm from Jungwon.

The referee blowed using his whistle.

24 to 23. Just one more point, and Niki and Jay's team will win.

The referee threw the ball in the air, as one of the rivals catched it immediately. Sunoo and the others cheered for their friends' team, their eyes wandering around the court, cause for no doubt it was intense.

The rival who has the ball lost their grip, making one of Niki and Jay's teammates post up, passing the ball to Niki. Niki looked around to see if there was anyone near to pass the ball to.

Whilst his eyes wandering around, his eyes met someone's gaze from the crowd.

It was Runa.

11 year old Niki threw the ball on the hoop, a big smile plastering around his whole face.

Niki had never tried playing basketball, and he really wanted to. His parents knew how much he wanted his own ball and hoop stand, and so they bought it for him as a birthday present.

Niki can't be any happier, giggling then shooting another one.

"And the mvp player award goes to Nishimura Riki!"

Niki turned around and saw a little girl giggling, making him scream from being startled. The ball dropped and bonked his head, making him fall on the floor, the little girl laughing.

"Runa-kun! H-how long have you been standing there?!"

"For a little while now. Niki-ah, I will watch all of your basketball games when you make the team, I promise."

Runa puts her pinky finger out, making Niki smile and intertwine his pink finger with hers, nodding.

Runa promised she'd watch him play,

and now she actually is.

"NIKI WATCH OUT!"
