마흔여섯. It's good you don't recall.

Sunoo woke up, his eyes flickering open.

"What happened.." He mumbled to himself. He looked at the ceiling, noticing that it was black. His body jolted up, knowing his room is white. He looked around, noticing that everything wasn't familiar.

Where am I?!

He looked down and saw him in his clothes yesterday, clutching on it. He must have passed out whilst drinking. But who on earth could ever bring him to another house?

The door opened, making Sunoo turn its head with an agape mouth.

"Oh, you're awake."

Ni-ki spoke, going to his large walk-in closet and picking out clothes for Sunoo to wear. Sunoo's eyes squinted at first, then gasping and placing his hand on his mouth when reality hit him.

I slept in Ni-ki's bed..

I'M IN HIS HOUSE?!

Ni-ki came out with a brown sweater and grey sweatpants, walking to Sunoo and handing him the bunch of clothes.

"Wear this, I'll put your clothes in the laundry since you're already here." Sunoo nodded at Ni-ki's words, his body lifting up but sat back down again.

"D-Did I do anything wrong yesterday?"

Ni-ki gulped, remembering the incident yesterday.

No, I did.

"N-Not that I know of." Ni-ki coughed, making Sunoo place his hand on his chest and release a sigh of relief. The older stood up and made his way to the bathroom, making Ni-ki rub his forehead.

Thank god he doesn't remember anything.

Ni-ki glanced at his nightstand, seeing a picture frame of him and Sunoo. He hissed and quickly looked at the bathroom to see if Sunoo was looking, rushing to place it inside of his drawer.

-

Sunoo opened Ni-ki's bedroom door, peeking if anyone was at the hallways. He closed the door swiftly and bowed at the helpers passing by. Ni-ki has about 3 house helpers, and they were in every corner.

He went down to where he saw the empty neat and modern designed kitchen. He was about to sit on one of the stools by the counter when he felt a touch on his ankle. He turned around and lowered his head, flashing a soft smile.

"What a cute fluffball." Sunoo leaned down, patting its soft and clean fur and not forgetting boop its cute little noise.

"His name's Bisco." Sunoo lifted his head up to see Ni-ki drying his hair with the small damp towel around his neck. The older's cheeks started having a red hue, and he was sure it wasn't because of the hangover.

"A-Ah, I see. What a cute name." Sunoo's bright smile showed as Ni-ki stared at the pink-haired boy petting his dog.

"Sit there, I'll make you hangover soup."

"Y-You don't need to, I feel fine-" Sunoo cut his own sentence off when he sees Ni-ki turning the stove on, ignoring his words. Sunoo picked Bisco up and sat on the stool, placing the small dog on his lap.

"You have a beautiful home." Sunoo complimented the structure and looks of the younger's humble abode, as Ni-ki heated up the water and brought out the necessary ingredients such as garlic, salt, black pepper, and others. Sunoo watched how Ni-ki quietly cooked him medicine, tilting his head whilst noticing how much the blonde-haired boy has changed.

He's now more mature, he's as attractive as ever..

"So, do you live alone or do you have any family members living with you?" Sunoo asked, breaking the silence. Ni-ki had no plans of talking, he thought it would make it even harder for him to forget what happened last night.

"Just me." He replied so shortly, making Sunoo sense that he's acting somewhat weird. Did he do anything wrong?

Ni-ki poured the soup into a small bowl, placing a spoon inside and sliding it to Sunoo's side of the counter. Sunoo blew on the soup on top of the spoon, when Bisco wiggled around his lap, making him giggle.

"Eye Bisco, our guest is eating." Ni-ki went to Sunoo's side of the counter, trying to grab Bisco out of the older's lap when the dog only clutched on the sweat Sunoo's wearing even harder.

"I guess he loves staying here." Sunoo smiled, taking a small bite and ruffling Bisco's hair. Ni-ki's eyes averted to how Bisco nuzzled on Sunoo's tummy, loving the place he's currently in. He wondered why and how Sunoo was so good at babying this little one when he himself can't even stop Bisco from scratching the cabinets and would have to bribe it with dog food.

"J-Just place the bowl on the sink after you're done, I'm gonna call Taki."

-

"YOU WHAT?!" Taki shouted over the phone, Ni-ki looking around to see if anyone heard his friend screaming.

"It's okay, he doesn't remember anything-"

"Oh he will, he'll remember everything you did, Nishimura Riki." N-iki gulped stepping closer to the end of his closet.

"Y-You think so?"

"Of course! My K hyung got drunk and he remembers everything our mom said to him the next day."

"That's different! This is..this is a kiss.." Ni-ki whispered as low as he can get, not wanting anyone to hear him.

"You think I don't know that? How do you think my face looks like right now when I heard you kissed your drunk secretary?"

"Stop saying it."

"My real question though, why did you do it?"

Words stopped coming out from Ni-ki's mouth, not knowing what to answer the one on the other end of the call. He doesn't exactly know, but it was most likely because he was tempted. He remembers every second of it. The second those heartbreaking words got out of Sunoo's mouth, the second his lips enveloped with the older's, he remembers it all clearly.

But of course he wouldn't tell that to Taki. He doesn't want his friend to think of him so lowly. A man should be strong, they should forget the ones who had hurt them. He doesn't want Taki to know that he has a fragile heart, that he's slowly giving in to Sunoo because of his soft spot for the older, he was ashamed, mad at himself for still loving Sunoo.

Because that's how big Sunoo's effect has on him.

"M-Maybe it was because I was also slightly drunk." Ni-ki lied, coughing as the one on the other end believed it anyways.

"Well, that seems like a you problem. If he doesn't remember, then you shouldn't remind him if you don't want to." Taki gave advice that Ni-ki thought was reasonable. He doesn't want Sunoo to know anything, so he shouldn't say anything at all.

Soon after, Ni-ki ended the call, getting out of his big closet as Sunoo opened the bathroom door on time.

"Oh, I've been looking everywhere for you. I'm gonna go now, my mother must be worried for me." Sunoo apologized, bowing at the younger who found it abrupt that he was leaving so early. It's only nine in the morning.

"What about your clothes? They're still in the laundry."

"It's okay, you can bring them to me tomorrow or next week."

"Then, let me at least drive you home."

-

The car wasn't so noisy as it was back in the house. It was quiet back then but now it's even more silent. Maybe it was because Ni-ki was too focused on the road and didn't spare a glance at the older, but either way, Sunoo had the urge to ask something.

He doesn't know why but the way Ni-ki's acting, he feels like he's done something wrong when he was drunk yesterday. He doesn't know, maybe it could be that he vomited on the younger, or the younger had to carry home, he wouldn't know if he didn't ask.

"Seriously, was I not troublesome yesterday?" Sunoo asked, turning his head at Ni-ki's whose eyes were focused on driving. Ni-ki hoped that the older would just stop asking that question, it wasn't making him feel any better, in fact, it was making him feel even worse.

"No, not at all." Ni-ki spoke, putting on just a small smile, and focused his soul on the road.

Just continue driving, don't answer any of his questions.

They had finally reached Sunoo's street, Ni-ki taking that one turn as Sunoo peeks and sees his apartment building. He wasn't well off like Ni-ki, but it still was comfortable for him and his mother and that was all they needed.

"Thanks for the ride." Sunoo smiled, opening the door as he saw the glass doors slide open, seeing his dear mother.

"Ah, Sunoo-ah! I was so worried for you!"

Ni-ki watched how Sunoo's mother pampered him with kisses and checked if he was okay. Sunoo had a loving mother, Ni-ki didn't doubt that.

"I'm okay mom, my uh..boss drove me home." Sunoo discreetly pointed at the car behind them, his mother knowing who Sunoo's boss exactly is.

"Ah! Lemme go say thank you real quick-"

"No mom, you don't need to do that-" Sunoo rubbed the back of his neck, too late to grab his mother's arm when she knocked on the driver seat's window. The window slid down as Ni-ki and Sunoo's mother smiled at each other.

"Hello young man, thank you for bringing my son home safe and sound. I hope he didn't do anything awful."

Oh no ma'am, it was me.

"No no, he wasn't troublesome Mrs. Kim." Ni-ki chuckled, glancing at Sunoo who was staring at the road. Ni-ki knew how embarrassed Sunoo felt at the moment, softly laughing.

"Well, you should come inside for lunch, it's almost twelve in the noon!" Sunoo lifted his head quick, grabbing his mother's wrist.

"Mom, are you trying to ruin my life?!" Sunoo aggressively whispered in his mother's ears, but she ignored him and it made Sunoo panic. His mother knew very well who Ni-ki was in his life, and inviting him for lunch was too much. What if she says something she's not supposed to say whilst eating like 'Oh Ni-ki, did you know my son still loves you?' No, Sunoo wasn't gonna let that happen.

"You can decline if you want." Sunoo showed a cheeky smile to Ni-ki, aggressively moving his eyes to the right, wanting Ni-ki to drive off as fast as possible. Ni-ki didn't want to say yes but the way Mrs. Kim was pleading with him, it felt like he had no other choice.

"I'd love that." Ni-ki smiled, as Sunoo threw his head back. What was Ni-ki trying to do? Why was that woman smirking as if she was trying her best to kill him on the inside?

"Great! I'll go back up and cook some food real quick. Sunoo honey, you go accompany your boss to parking." His mother smiled, as Sunoo grabbed her wrist for a second.

"Just know that I hate you for this."

"I am doing you a favor, child."

-

Ni-ki checked if all the doors were closed, going around his car and standing beside Sunoo who was tapping his foot.

"Please leave." Sunoo pleaded.

"What?" Ni-ki asked, startled by what the older had just said.

"This is your chance to get away from my mother, in fact, you don't have to meet her at all! I am doing you a favor. Leave and you won't have to endure all the pain."

"No, that's rude. I agreed, I should keep my word. What kind of son are you.." Ni-ki lowkey judged his secretary, walking up the apartment stairs, making Sunoo baffled by what the younger said. What kind of son is he? Certainly, one who needs privacy, not a mother who'll meddle in his work and love life and invite his ex-boyfriend for lunch!

He followed Ni-ki up the stairs, repeating his prayer for the nth time that minute.

Lord, please help my mother keep her mouth shut.

Hello, sorry for not updating for two days I was busy with school and writing a new book;) And I have started putting hyphens on Riki's name recently too. I know Riki's stage name has a hyphen, but I didn't think it was necessary because it's wattpad. But since someone felt like it was necessary and came to our notice, I just decided to put a hyphen because it wouldn't hurt to put a one:)
