It wasn't his choice, okay? It never was his choice. He never chose for this to happen. He never wanted this to happen.
It wasn't his choice, but the blondes.
It was the blonde's choice.
Sam's choice.

"No, no! You won't fucking take him! Stop!" Sam struggled against the arms that gripped his skin, holding them behind his back as he tried to escape their grasp. "Please, please, stop! He never- he never did anything wrong!" He shouted, watching hopelessly as the brunette cried, being fully tied up and vulnerable toward the other men who circled around him with predatory eyes. Clenching his teeth, Sam fought the tears that came forth, blocking them out the best he could as Colby continued to cower away from the muscular men who towered over him.
Weakness, that's all he felt. He couldn't do anything. His arms were gripped from behind, incapable of any forceful movement. "Please... let him go!" A shout filled with anger and pain was torn from the blonde's throat, wanting to protect the younger while he couldn't do anything to prevent this.
"No, no, no, stop!" Sam's broken voice echoed off the walls as one of the men gripped into Colby's brown locks, tugging them with a large amount of force. Head snapping, Colby found himself being kicked further, a muffled gasp escaping his lips. "Leave him alone!" The blonde demanded, trying to keep a brave face while he watched his best friend, now lover, get tormented.
Suddenly, the tape seemed to weaken as it fell from the younger's face, his blood-filled mouth slowly leaking. "Sam..." He cried, trying to move toward the blonde. A harsh kick to his side kept him back as he coughed, red liquid landing onto the cold pavement floor.
"Please, stop, take me, not him, please!" The blonde begged, begged for his lover to be safe, begged for mercy, begged for the brunette. Slowly, a smirk grew on one of the men's faces.
"Isn't that cute?" He said slyly, walking toward the blonde menacingly. The brunette seemed to notice, and instantly, he tried to get to Sam before the other man did.
"S-Stop-" A cry tore from Colby's throat as he was kicked again, Sam shouting in the distance, but his mind was too fuzzy to understand.
The man who used to be farther away was now inches from his face, eyes burning into his as he said, "Loyalty gets you nowhere, and you still choose to do it." Sighing, the man shakes his head. "Maybe one day you'll understand that..." Slowly, the man reached into his waistband, pulling out something that seemed-
Wait a minute... is that?...
A gun.
Eyes widening in fear, Sam felt his heart pound on his chest. "W-What, no, don't do this, Sam!!" The brunette cried, now being the one who had to watch such horrid scenes. "Please, no!" He sobbed, begged, pleaded, not wanting to see this, not wanting to lose the one person that made his life worth it.
"...This was all your choice." He finished his sentence, finger dancing around the trigger.
Gulping, Sam took in a deep breath, before saying,
"You shoot me, then leave him alone." He demanded, offering a deal.
"Sam, what the fuck?!-" Another cry ripped from his throat as another kick landed to his side. "D-Don't do this, Sam, please, y-you cant leave me!"
Tears pricked at the blonde's eyes.
"I'm sorry." He whispered. "But it's to keep you safe, Colby."
And just like that, the sound of a gunshot ripped through the air.
BANG!
His body fell to the floor, all the men laughing as Sam lay limp on the ground, bleeding out. Splashed on the walls, blood seemed to cover the room, hiding in every single corner. "SAM!!"
The brunette's tired, sore, beaten body rushed over to Sam as quick as possible as the men left, leaving Sam to die alone in Colby's arms. "Hey, hey, Sam, it's gonna be okay... I- I'm not gonna lose you, okay? You're gonna be fine, I-" A choked sob escaped him. "Please..."
A small smile crept onto the blonde's face, eyes fluttering. Soothing hands were placed on Colby's cheek, wiping away tears. "I-It'll be okay, Colby..." He croaked out.
For the last time, his eyes then shut permanently.
