While Killua had went out for a walk, he had run into man who was screaming into a megaphone and the silverette rolled his eyes at the man's words.

'My name is Knuckle Bine and I'm a Beast Hunter! Extermination Team candidates, I challenge you to a duel'

The man's screaming had attracted the crowd's attention and everyone turned towards the man, watching as he screamed into the megaphone so loudly, they were surprised he hadn't lost his voice yet.

'Midnight tonight and don't be late! Fight me fair and square. I won't try to hide or run away, I won't bring weapons or allies. It'll just be me and me alone, so come and fight me okay?!'

One of the civilians watching the scene had his arms crossed over his chest and a small drop of sweat fell down the side of his face.

He hadn't told the people he was yelling for exactly where he would be.

If he was going to fight someone, he had to tell them the exact location he would he and if he didn't, there'd be no point since the person wouldn't know where to find him.

'Bring it on, hear me? A man knows never to turn his back on an enemy!'

As Knuckle was screaming his lungs out, he didn't notice that Killua had walked right by him and the silverette looked up at the sky as the man continued to yell.

'I'm prepared to follow you to the ends of the earth. You won't get away from me!'

Even if the man had explained the location of said fight, Killua wouldn't even show up.

Once he met back up with Valentine and Gon, the four went to lunch as the two sat across from the green-haired boy while Zeus was on the table, eating something he had caught earlier as he hid it within his wing; but the young blonde didn't know what.

It was probably a small rodent, like a mouse or something.

'He's just a decoy',Killua explained,'His partner's probably hiding somewhere. You know, I'm even willing to bet that they're watching to see if anyone reacts suspiciously before they make a move'

With her lips wrapped around the straw in her lemonade, Valentine turned Killua and slowly nodded her head as his beautiful eyes of azure turned her way.

The man was definitely trying to provoke them by calling them cowards and giving them an ultimatum; to either show up and fight or be tracked down and fight.

Either way, having to fight would be the only option.

'And according to Palm, they don't even know our names',Killua explained,'So we're in the clear'

Gently ripping off a piece chicken from her club sandwich, Valentine held it out to Zeus and watched as the hawk's eyes lit up in excitement as a pleased churr left his beak as he surged forward, snatching the piece from her hand, gobbling it down.

Smiling softly, the young girl turned back towards her food and took a bite out of it as well, watching as the hawk licked his beak in satisfaction.

'They were just trying to lure us out somehow',Killua told them,'Only an idiot would pull a stunt like that'

'What did the guy look like? Was he powerful?'

Thinking back to the man, Killua furrowed his eyebrows and the waitress came back, placing down an order at the table beside them.

'Your guess is as good as mine. One of the hunters with the Chairman said that in a battle nothing is certain. Also, according to that guy, I'm not qualified to judge if a fight can be won. But I disagree',Killua stated,'If you want to survive, you have to increase your odds of victory. Gauging the strength differential between you and your opponent is key'

Picking up his fork, the silverette twirled the utensil in the middle of his spaghetti and lifted the food to his mouth, but continued to talk to the two as Zeus stole a tomato from his plate, causing Killua to stare at the hawk out of the corner of his eye.

Taking a bite out of her sandwich, Valentine looked towards Zeus and breathed out a chuckle, slowly shaking her head with a fond smile.

'If you're fighting someone you can only beat once or twice out of a hundred times, don't bother',Killua stated and continued eating,'You want fifty-fifty at least. Seventy percent or better if it's at all possible. And for us to get to that point, there are still two things we have to do. We need to work on all of our fundamental skills and learn about our opponents abilities'

Nodding in agreement, Valentine and Gon grunted in response; while Gon was more focused on what Killua was completely saying, the young blonde was listening to small snippets here and there as she watched Zeus playfully attacking the straw of her drink.

'If we find out what they are, we can plan ahead just like we did against Genthru',Killua stated and hearing the man's name caused Valentine to pause.

'Half of me agrees with you and half doesn't',Gon admitted.

Furrowing her eyebrows together, Valentine looked towards Gon and tilted her head to the side as Killua narrowed his eyes at the green-haired boy.

'What does that mean?'

Eyes widening, Valentine looked between the boys and took a slow sip of her drink, the sound of the rest of the liquid going up through the straw echoed throughout the air.

'I agree that we should work on our fundamentals',Gon stated,'I just don't agree we need to know exactly what their abilities are'

'Really? Why the hell not?'

Before the boy could answer the question, the sound of ice breaking in half as it was crunched caused both of the boys to stop their argument and slowly turned their heads towards the source of the noise.

Looking up from the ice between her fingers, Valentine stopped mid-chew and looked between Killua and Gon as they stared at her, causing a red tint to slowly form across her cheeks and nose as her eyes glistened with confusion.

"What?"

The soft and muffled crunching of ice continued to echo through the air, causing Killua to slowly shake his head as a soft chuckle left his lips and a small smile spread across his face.

She was absolutely adorable.

'Come on, why add to all of the risks without any real benefits?',Killua said and got back on track as his gaze turned towards Gon once more.

'I know, but once we're inside , that is what we're going to be facing',Gon stated.

A gasp left Killua's lips and his eyes widened as he stared at the boy, a small drop of sweat glistening in the light as it fell down the side of his face.

Thinking back to the Chimera Ants they've faced before, a small frown formed on Valentine's face and she threw another piece of ice into her mouth.

'Our goal isn't to defeat Knuckle and Shoot, it's to get stronger',Gon told them and they finished eating, leaving the store,'Strong enough to go back to the NGL and rescue Kite. I mean, we've got to be powerful enough to beat enemies we don't know anything about at a moment's notice'

A familiar presence washed over Valentine's body causing goosebumps to pop up along her arms as shivers ran down her back and she immediately stopped walking, causing the boys to stop as well, watching as her wide, golden eyes looked around.

'Val, is everything okay?'

'Valentine, what's wrong?'

Furrowing her eyebrows, Valentine concentrated and her body buzzed with familiarity, excitement shooting throughout her veins as her eyes lit up with hope.

It was clear that the boys were concerned that she wasn't answering them and seeing her on such high alert caused them to put up their guard as they look around.

'Valentine!'

Hearing the familiar voice, eyes of gold immediately snapped towards that direction and a blinding smile formed on her face as a small squeal of happiness left Valentine's lips as she instantly started running towards the person.

Shoes pounded against the concrete as her hair wildly wiped behind her and Zeus let out a screech, spreading his wings as he, too, rushed towards the familiar figure.

"Jaxon!"

Meeting in the middle, the young blonde jumped up slightly and wrapped her arms around Jaxon's shoulders as his arms wrapped around her waist.

A surprise laugh left the girl's lips as her twin picked her up and spun her around, small laughs leaving their lips before her feet softly touched the ground, unwrapping their arms from one another.

"What're you doing here?",Valentine asked in surprise and looked into her brother's downward-sloped soft brown to golden eyes,"I thought you'd still be at home or on a mission"

A soft smile formed on her brothers face and Jaxon lifted his arms in a shrug, slapping them back onto his legs.

'I am on a mission',Her brother stated, causing Valentine to furrow her eyebrows as she tilted her head to the side and seeing this, a small chuckle left the boy's lips,'Looks like you're stuck with me, Valentine. My mission is to accompany you through the NGL'

It had been quite a long walk; with Killua standing close by Valentine's side while Jaxon's harsh stare burned into the side of the silverette's head, and opening the door to the apartment, no one was expecting the fist that had punched Gon in the face.

A shocked Jaxon had pulled his sister to his side and stared at the boy, while Valentine and Killua's eyes went wide as they stared at the doorway.

'Are you an idiot!?'

Eyes glistening as her teacher stepped through the door, Valentine rushed forward and wrapped her arms around the blonde, causing the older woman to let out a surprised laugh.

"Bisky!"

Leaning towards Killua, Jaxon furrowed his eyebrows and stared at the blonde his sister was currently hugging.

'Who's the kid?',The Nitsune boy asked.

'That's our teacher, Biscuit'

Nodding her head as she heard Killua's words, Biscuit nodded her head and let go of Valentine, sending the girl a small smile, before she turned back to the boys; Biscuit's smile dropping as she placed her hands on her hips.

'Why are you here?',The two boys asked, while Jaxon only looked on in confusion and had no idea what was going on.

'Because I invited her to come',Palm told them.

'You two know each other!?'

'No, I just did a little research on you',Palm admitted and slowly, her eyes turned towards the blonde haired boy beside Valentine,'I see that you have a guest as well'

Seeing all pairs of eyes had turned towards him, the boy rose an eyebrow and looked between everyone, an annoyed look on his face.

'What?'

Slapping a hand to her face at his tone, Valentine slowly shook her head as a small sigh left her lips as she dragged her hand down her face and everyone only look at him with a blank expression.

"Bisky, this is my twin brother Jaxon Nitsune. Jaxon, this is our teacher, Biscuit Krueger",Valentine introduced the two as a disappointed sigh left her lips and she looked up at her brother, slowly shaking her head,"Play nice, please. She's my friend"

Looking down at his sister, Jaxon slowly looked between her eyes and finally, a small sigh left his lips as he nodded.

'Fine.'

'There's no time left to spare, so let's begin',Palm stated as her dark aura seeped out from her and this caused Jaxon to tense up while sweat slowly fell down Killua, Gon and Valentine's faces, staring at the woman with wide eyes,'We must plot to kill Mr. Morel's disciples'

Slowly shaking their heads, Gon and Killua raised their hands, almost looking blue.

'No thanks'

I repeat everyone, Jaxon Nitsune has joined the adventure with our four trouble makers!

I wonder how you guys are going to react to him being added into the storyline.
