THE VOLUME OF CONVERSATION AND WIND SUDDENLY can be heard again as the three girls leave the college building behind to head towards campus.

The change in volume was very noticeable because they hardly met anyone in the big building and only heard a few conversations as they walked past the few open windows.

Once outside, Nelly's gaze wanders over the crowd that has gathered outside, it's around 4pm and that's always when it's busiest and hottest. Most of them sat on benches and looked at the lesson material before it starts next week.

Others play table tennis on the tables spread around the site, and everything else is possible. Penelope and Natalia have taken it upon themselves to show Abby around since it's her first week here, to help their new roommate adjoin to the vibe on campus.

So far, only the campus is left; the library, cafeteria, apartments and the teaching building have been crossed relatively quickly because its easy to explain and show, its obvious that she's not gonna remember everything or where everything was but it doesn't hurt to show her everything once.

"And there are benches but they are actually almost never free" nat points to the benches, which, are not surprising taken, those are located relatively under the trees on the school grounds in front of the fence that marks the end of the campus.

When you tell someone that the area is huge, you mean it. The college is a bit away from the city center for peace and space, but is still part of LA.

The large collage building was divided into three which were connected by corridors. 1. where the classes take place, 2. the sleeping apartments, 3. where most of the activities or hobbies like ballet or sewing were. And then there's the outside are.

There wasn't anything like that outside because most things had to take place inside, except for sewing when it was like really warm. Since it was again a private collage and there weren't that many students, there was enough space for some of the students' horses which were another positive attraction to many for the school.

Outside it was just all trees, benches and some sport places for like basketball or to skate, which is why there's enough place for that. Those were on the other side of the campus tho so that nothing gets in the way.

The stables were more peaceful at the other end of campus, with extra space to move around. One of the horses was there under the name of Nelly's father, means she needs to take care of it.

Penelope couldn't decide between two colleges. However, her father really wanted her to go there because one of his favorite businessmen had also sent his son there. Which is why he got the horse for her, you can call it slight manipulation or whatever you want because he knew that Nelly always wanted one as a little child, to convince her.

However, it helped a lot with the decision, or more so that she had no choice because the horse was already there and there was no room for animals on the other collage that could've been it.

"So what's its name?" Abby raises her eyebrows at the horse who sticks his brown haired head wide out of the box to sniff her with a grimace. "Its?"

"Elvis" Nelly's voice sounds up as she stands up straight again and stands next to the horse in the box and gives him a pet on the shoulder. "So its a boy" "duh" the stable door creaks open a little as the brunette moves out again after giving the brown Hanoverian a kiss on the snout which makes him snooze softly.

Penelope's steps bring her to sink to wash her hands because there's a little fur on it.

"You know you can touch him" nat speaks also be with crossed arms as the brunette beside her hesitates but it looks like she really wanted to. "You sure he doesn't have rabies?", "okay what the fuck"

The light footsteps of her spezials carry Nelly back over to her friends that are still discussing over the horse after she has washed her hands at the end of the stables.

"You scared of horses or what?" "No he just looks mean." Nat scoffs, "how can a horse look mean? he's not" "how long have you known him for?"

"Almost a year" Natalia raises her eyebrows at Abby in defense so she gets her point. "A year is nothing," "bee im gonna call you bad words."

"He doesn't have rabies, there is some guy checking on them horses once a month" nelly gently speaks up appearing besides them girls again, making bees face fall so she just looks around with a grimace before she quietly pets the horse that's just peacefully closing its eyes, not showing any other signs then pleasantness.

"He lets everyone pet him, well at least females. he has something against men" Nelly quietly raises her eyebrows at the horse that's staring back at her after abby backed off. "Me too, that's twin" nat gives Elvis a little high five on the snout.

"Okay guys, lets get going with this tour, my feet hurt and im hungry. I cant wait for this to be done" Natalia speaks up again with a dramatic groan and shoves the two girls with her out of the stables as fast as possible.

The three girls leave the building again. Arrived outside is the pedock where a few animals still trot around instead of being in the stables. These are covered with roofs and walls so they are warm inside for the winter time, it was like a normal small stable as there are only around 13 horses.

It's now around 6pm and the sun is slowly setting through the fall season. The girls only have the last patch of campus to go before they're finally done with the tour. And these are the activity areas or, more precisely, sports areas on the other side of the campus.

The air around the three becomes a little fresher as they make their way over, Nelly clings onto her red sweater as her gaze goes to Nat, who is walking next to her undisturbed in her black crop top.

When they reach the sports area, she looks a little relieved when she notices that there aren't that many people there anymore which could be because it's around dinner time.

"So that's the basketball-" "yo Reyes!" an unfamiliar male voice, at least to Abby, interrupts Nat. The smallest brunette of the three turns to the voice as you see a brunette boy jogging towards them.

Penelope sighs a little while Abby tilts her head with a small smile at the obvious attractive boy coming closer to them. "Chris, what can I do for you today" not even a stupid person could miss the irony in Natalia's voice.

"What a pleasure, but sadly you can't do anything for me today" with which he meanders past the eye-rolling brunette to the new one he doesn't know. "whats up, im chris" with a grin on his lips he extends his hand to abby which she immediately accepts, causing the other two girls to raise their eyebrows.

"ew-" "im abby"

"sooo, are you new-" "don't even try" nat scoffs why the boy gives her a fake offended look, "what? im just trying to be nice"

"I know your nice" Natalia really does, sometimes when Nelly wasn't in the mood to hang out, sick or needed to study she hangs out with that group. "leave the poor girl alone, its her first week", "so she is new" he turns back to abby with a grin.

"No", "you just said it"

Another voice calling interrupts him and he turns back to his friends who are still on the field. "huh?" "You still have the ball man," another guy shouts after him with an annoyed face. Chris looks down and sees the basketball that he has clamped between his arm and his hip while his other hand was in his jeans pocket.

"Oh, my bad guys" with that he throws the ball back into the field and doesn't waste a second turning back to Abby who's sweetly blinking up at him.

Penelope doesn't listen to the conversation between the three that follows because she can't shake the feeling that a pair of eyes are staring into her back, making her feel a little uneasy.

She turns her head slightly out of interest towards the basketball hoop when the same blue eyes from three nights ago catch her eye.

Matt stands leaning against the field fence, his hands in his trouser pockets as his eyes watching her steps while it's obvious that a piece of gum is being chewed between his teeth. His head tilted a little as her gaze falls over his figure. she instantly stops tho, as she sees him nodding a little at her after he catched her attention.

However, her gaze doesn't stay on him for long as she turns her attention straight back to the three people in front of her when she hears her name come out of her best friend's mouth, who's looking at her with raised eyebrows. "Nells?" "Mhm?"

"We're going back, we are starving" and so nat pulls her out of matt's sight again, thankfully. Well at least she hopes so, she doesn't  know if he's still looking but she didn't feel the intense stare anymore.

"Bee, I'm gonna touch your hand when I say that Chris is not-" "no..he's cute, like really cute", "he only told you his name." Penelope's eyes keep switching between Nat and Bee as she pokes around in the rest of her salad to get out the leftovers except the olives left over, she despises them.

It's dinner in the cafeteria where it's not really quiet again even though the three of them have come to eat relatively at the end of the remaining time but looks like everyone thought like them today.

A little further away from them she sees the son that her dad has mentioned a few times and thinking it was making a plus point for her to go for this school.

Leopold Cuncton, was sitting across the room, a girl with black hair next to him who looks as if she didn't find his joke funny at all taking a sip of her juice while he's snickering as quiet as he can beside her.

She doesn't really know him personally, nor the whole group around him, of Chris and everyone else. However, that's better than having a problem with each other and making her father mad for ruining a possible future deal.

However, she heard that he was quite funny and cool to hang around, again, of course from Nat tho.

She actually always hears everything from her best friend. Her best friend knows everyone and at least something she can tell her about everyone, it doesn't necessarily mean that she is friends with everyone, although that was often the case when Nelly had to awkwardly wait beside for her to say hello to half the school.

This means that when someones bored, which is usually the case with Natalia, she always has something to say, mostly about people that Nelly doesn't even know, but the brunette just finds it pleasant to listen to her friend talking non-stop while she cleans up, brushes her teeth, eats or while whatever what.

Penelope keeps her circle of friends smaller because she wants to tell her friends everything, but also doesn't want to tell everyone everything, which is why she only has close friends because she can't keep in touch with not close friends when she can't tell them stuff and 'cause of so many more reasons.

Her green-brown eyes follow the people who leave the hall one after the other. Her friends' conversations go in one ear and out the other about whatever topic they change to after a minute.

She sees the employees here, that could be told apart by the uniform, slowly starting to bring the food away and slowly cleaning the already empty tables so that they can finish their shift for today. Some tables are left clean, some still have leftover food or dishes left standing.

If you pay attention to it, the room becomes quieter and less crowded in minutes as the day goes by slowly, it's around 8pm now. For some the day is just beginning, some are just lazing around in bed anymore, what's probably gonna be how she ends up.

The suddenly minimal brightness next to her makes her look down at the table. Abby's phone has lit up with a notification but she just keeps talking with nat and doesn't even glance at it, probably because she didn't even notice but Nelly tilts her head a little interested at the phone directly put in front of her.

Penelope's eyebrows furrow when her phone lights up not even a minute later. A more annoyed sounding sigh escaping her and she takes a look at it.

Her face falls into a small grimace when she sees the notification, but quickly lets that face fall normal again.

Her account was public for a while, but that was a long time ago, because she hardly ever uses it anymore. On her private/spam she posts maybe once in two months and on her main even less often, nat always said they need to change something about that.

But well, she didn't, at least at the moment. And probably for the future

She puts her phone aside her almost clean eaten plate and turns back to her friends who are still discussing about things abby needs to look out for/from or do in collage, but without declining the follow request, for at least now.
