        PANCAKES ALWAYS MAKES A MORNING BRIGTHER. Or so Garfield has said before. The morning was quiet, for the most part and most everyone was still in bed. It was around 7:30 in  the morning and the only ones away were Idalia, Koriand'r and Raven. Idalia and Koriand'r where morning people and Raven had nothing else better to do so the three went into the kitchen of the Titan Tower and decided to make breakfast.

     It has been a year since everything that transpired with Trigon and in that time, the team got to know a lot more about each other. In both good and bad ways. Garfield learned why he should never mess with a sleepy dragon, so it was an experience.

     In that time, they've gained a new Titan member. Her name was Terra. She was about Raven and Idalia's height and she had short blonde hair, freckles and earthy eyes. She was very pretty but she kept to herself a lot. And she seemed to be a very cold person. When she wasn't attempting to make conversation with Raven or Idalia. It just seemed like she didn't want to be there. Like she would rather be somewhere else. 

     And that's why Raven grew slight wary of her. But she didn't know her so she never said anything to anyone. She hasn't done anything to make her say something.

    "Now, pour in the chocolate chips." Koriand'r said as she looked at the cook book that was firmly grasped in her orange hand.

     Idalia waved her hand to the left, making the bag of milk chocolate chips float towards her. She watched as the bag poured itself into the pink mixing bowl of pancake mix. Once the bag was empty, Idalia mixed the ingredients together. Koriand'r pre-heated the stove while Raven sat at the kitchen island, reading a book.

     Anyone would say it was a sight to see. The three were all still in pajamas. Koriand'r was in a white t-shirt with NASA on the front and some purple pajama shorts, Idalia was in a silk pink tank top and matching silk pink shorts, with a sheer white robe on and Raven was in a plain black shirt and black pajama pants.

    And all of their hairs were in some messy style. Idalia's was tied in a low messy bun, Koriand'r's was tied in a messy ponytail and Raven left hers unruly.

    "This is fun!" Koriand'r beamed as she began flipping pancakes in the pan as Idalia continued to make more batter and, at the same time, decorate the pancakes. "We should do this more often."

    "Pancakes and music? That'll be enough to wake everyone up." Raven mumbled, still a little tired. She looked up and saw that Idalia placed her a plate in front of her. The whipped cream on top was drawn out to have a smiley face on it.

      "Garfield has told me that pancakes make a brighter morning last night." Idalia explained as she sprayed more whipped cream on the other pancakes. "So, I thought we could wake everyone up with them."

    "And it's a wonderous idea." Koriand'r complimented as she flipped a pancake in the air, making the demi-goddess catch it with a plate. "Nice catch, Dali!" 

     She smiled in response as she turned back to the counter. Trampling noises could be heard in earshot, coming from the hallway that lead to their rooms. The three already knew that the two best friends were up now.

    "Move, dun beetle!" Garfield shoved Jaime out of his way as he rushed over to the kitchen. Jaime glared as him and shoved him back, attempting to get there first.

    "You move, green bean!"

    "Boys, no fighting." Koriand'r mildy scolded, giving them a stern look. "We knew you two would come here first so we've already made your pancakes."

    Garfield and Jaime sat at the kitchen island with much eagerness as Idalia gave them both their pancakes. Their eyes nearly watered at the fluffy and chocolatey pancakes in front of them. Even the whipped cream looked really good.

    "Okay, what did we do to deserve this?" Jaime asked, wasting no time in devouring his pancakes. "And tell me when you want us to do it again."

    "Who's idea was it?" Garfield followed along, mouth already full.

    "Idalia's idea." Raven informed, turning a page in her book.

    "You are a gift from the gods." Garfield praised as he kept eating.

    Damian walked into the kitchen with Terra not to far behind. He frowned at everyone in a sleepy daze as he was still waking up. He scratched the back of his head as he looked around. No wonder he was smelling chocolate pancakes and hearing the faint sounds of Watermelon Sugar being played.

    Nothing against Harry Styles, he actually like his music. But not when it's 7 in the morning and he's been out all night patrolling when everyone was asleep. He didn't get much sleep last night and he was about to come in the kitchen to yell at whoever it was to stop playing the music but when he saw that both Koriand'r and Idalia were making chocolate chip pancakes, why not eat, right?

     "Good morning, Boy Bony-Ass." Garfield muffled as  he swallowed his food.

    Just as he was about to take another bite, Damian walked behind him and smacked the back of his head as he pasted him, making him nearly choke. "Morning, Jolly Green Idiot."

    Garfield coughed roughly as he drank some orange juice to stop the choking. "Not....cool....bro," He spluttered out, catching his breath. Garfield suddenly noticed Terra walk in, wearing her pajamas. "G-Good morning, Terra."

     Terra just raised her eyebrows at him in response to him as she sat next to Raven. "Are all mornings like this here?" She asked as Idalia placed her plate of pancakes in front of her.

    "Only the rare ones." Raven answered, her eyes not leaving her book.

   "If I didn't know any better, I would think this was Idalia's idea." Damian said as he poured himself some orange juice. "Right, conqueror?"

   "You know me, Demon." Idalia said, as she gave him his plate. "If it's a good idea, I have to do it."

    "Hey, why is it that she can call you Demon but when I called you that, you threw a ninja star at me?" Jaime asked, finishing his food.

    "Are you a celestial demi-goddess with white hair?" He asked, sarcastically. "No? There's your answer, Blue Beetle."

   "Somebody's  not a morning person, I see." Jaime grumbled at him, picking up his plate and giving it to Koriand'r.

    "Damian, be nice." Idalia scolded him with a small grin on her face. Damian shrugged, not seeing the problem in his words. "He shouldn't ask stupid questions, Conqueror."

     "Man, you two are like a married couple." Garfield pointed out in mock disgust.  "Even your nicknames are odd yet cute."

     Ever since the roof party, Damian and Idalia got really close. Or close enough to meet up at the same cafe every Friday at the same time. Everyone in the team just chalked it up to them dating but Idalia and Damian didn't want to call it that. Mainly because the two were very new to dating and never had a significant other before. Also neither has ever kissed before.

     But the two agreed to go one step at a time in their new relationship. They had plenty of time for romantic acts. They just started holding hands a little. The nicknames were already there.

   "I've also noticed how much nicer Damian is to us all ever since he and Dali got together." Jaime added.

     "You mean he wasn't always like this?" Terra asked, confused. There was nothing nice about this kid. In the short time she has known Damian, he had only ever shown her and everyone else how much of a pain in the ass he can be and how much of an asshole he really is.

   "He was much worse when he joined the team." Raven said, looking at her. "It's good you've met him now rather than last year."

    "Wow....that bad, huh?"

     " Unfortunately, yes."

    "If we're done talking about my relationship and my business," Damian cut in, shooting glares at both Jaime and Garfield. "Will we be training today?"

     "We will." Koriand'r confirmed, turning off the stove. "We will even have Nightwing join our training today, everyone."

    "Why on earth would you invite Grayson?" Damian asked, annoyed that his adopted older brother was going to join them.

   "Oh, come on! Nightwing is cool!" Garfield cheered. "He's way less stuck up than those Leaguers, who walk around like they have giant sticks up their a-"

     He stopped once he noticed both Idalia and Damian were giving him identical glares. Garfield chuckled nervously, rubbing his neck.

    "My bad, yo."

    "Enough banter," Koriand'r said, looking up from her phone. "Lets finish up here and head outside."
