𖣠  𝜗℘   ━━ they had both met each other in middle school while mùlán was still living in kansas. there weren't many other asian kids going to her school at the time so she and yakeru bonded quickly over the fact that they were. it led them to spending a lot of time together and because of that , and the simple fact kids are weird , it didn't take long for other students to start teasing them about it. calling them each others boyfriend and girlfriend. after a while they both just kinda accepted it and went along with what the other kids were saying about them. they never officially got together... but could you even officially get together in middle school?

it took only a month of ❛ dating ❜ before yakeru told her that it wasn't going to work out. he simply just didn't have the money to buy her ring pops everyday. and that was that.

mùlán doesn't think it counts as an actual relationship but it's still a cute and funny memory for her to think back on. and for it being the start of her dating like she rather approve of the choices ten year old her made.

𖣠  𝜗℘   ━━ they were both trainees under dsp media at the time they met. mùlán would often spend her nights staying up late in the practice rooms and on one of those nights wonjae came across her. the two of them got along right away. since that night the two of them started to meet up more , practicing together , and just getting closer. it didn't take mùlán long at all to start catching feelings for him and she wasn't scared to hide it either. she would ask him out all the time , to which he usually responded with ❛ maybe next time ❜ , she never lost hope though. the day wonjae asked her out himself she practically jumped for joy. from then one they were set.

in the eyes of the other trainee's they were a picture perfect couple. they were always keeping an eye of each others health , be really smiley and cuddly , and always willing to stop what they were doing when the other was down or having a hard day. the day that mùlán made her debut things started to change. it was clear wonjae was jealous of his girlfriend. he tried being supportive at first but it didn't last long. the change started slow , hiding insults by saying he was joking around or that he was just teasing her.

mùlán was still so into him. so while the comments hurt she didn't leave him and she was desperate to keep wonjae from leaving her. she started to change herself , hoping that in doing so it would keep him around longer and make him like her again. if he called her fat she lost weight. if he said she talked to much she'd keep quiet. if he thought she was too close with her male friends then she shut them out.

mùlán's members , family , friends , even fans started to notice some was up with her. they were scared for mùlán and told her that she needed to break up with him before things got even worse. she knew they were right but she didn't have the confidence to go through with it. it took her a whole year before she even started the conversation and it got messy very fast. yelling and screaming , throwing things around , name calling , a few hits every now and then. but it was officially over.

looking back on it mùlán doesn't regret getting together with him. the beginning of their relationship was such a dream and she still thinks fondly of it. she just wishes she realized what was happening to them a lot earlier than she did.

𖣠  𝜗℘   ━━ after she left dsp media mùlán went in a desperate audition spree. one of the many companies she auditioned for was jyp. one day whole she was simply waiting in the lobby she ran into felix. he'll always claim it was love at first sight. he never said it out loud till much much later but mùlán could tell , she knew what that looked like and it scared her. she had just gotten out of a seriously horrible relationship she couldn't risk getting into another one. felix could tell she was uncomfortable so he backed off. the last thing he wanted to do was scare her.

and so they stayed as friends. felix never got over his feelings for mùlán. she was months away from her debut , she knew it was probably not the best idea but she had really gotten to know him so she decided to give him a chance. so they went out on a date and then another and then another and next thing mùlán knew she was pouring her heart out and begging for him to not break her heart. things went really slow at eventually she started to act like her old self again. mùlán loved that felix was able to bring that out in her , that he was patient enough , and gave her the love and time for it to happen. she was truly in love with him.

in a their two year anniversary hit things just started to feel different. they no longer did the things couples do and no matter how hard they tried to relight their flame nothing worked. it took some time for them to come to terms with it , they didn't want things to go bad or stop being friends. well , they managed to work it out and came to the conclusion they are just better off as friends now. it didn't even make anything weird and they're still the best of friends.

it wasn't until early 2020 when soobin realized that he might've had a crush on her. he just wasn't able to see her in the same way , as just a friend. mùlán was in a relationship though and she was so so happy. so he kept his mouth shut so he wouldn't ruin it , hoping that his feelings would eventually go away. mùlán realized she had feelings for him a couple months after her breakup and it made things pretty awkward for a while.

enough was enough eventually. so after months of hinting at each other and suddenly realizing how stupid this was. they both liked each other so what was mùlán waiting for? so she got her shit together and just straight up asked soobin out. it barely took one date for them to start dating officially.
