❝ All of this love is toxic. All of this love is toxic. All these kisses and hugs is knock shit. You a damn drug, you're toxic. ❞
"Just be honest wit' me, did you or did you not fuck her Tommy, c'mon we all grown in this car so you ain't got to lie." Kim's voice came out surprisingly calm as she sat in the passenger seat next to him. Her gold hoops moved with her head movements as she looked outside the window.
They'd just arrived at a party but then soon had to leave due to a brawl almost happening inside between two women. One being Kim the other being one of Tommy's flings. Tameka. Although Kim never wanted it to happen she just wasn't about to let some girl just think she got her way. She didn't like problems but believed if it was brought to her she would address it.
Although she was a little mad that she wasted a perfectly good outfit tonight, she did not regret her actions one bit.
Kim and Tommy were in an on-and-off "relationship" if you can call it that. They met about two years ago back at a well-known nightclub called Onyx. He was immediately attracted to her assets all while dealing with Keisha and when it came to Kim she wasn't so sure what to think of him. Of course, Kim was immediately suspicious of him due to hearing about the things he was involved with in the streets but ignored that little voice in her head that was telling her to stay away from him.
Maybe it was the sex, maybe it was the gifts he lavished her with. But one thing for certain is that it was toxic. No matter how good it is.
"I didn't do shit, Kim!" That was his answer for the billionth time and it looked like he wasn't planning on changing it at all. Although it held some truth to it, he did not fuck but instead received head. Call it how you want it but it was still cheating.
"So you gon' sit here with a straight face and tell me you ain't did shit with her?" Kim wanted to laugh at how comical it sounded because she knew better and knew that he would do some shit like that "Nigga I already done told to stop fuckin' wit me so be honest."
"Like I said No. I didn't do shit wit' her. It ain't my fault she wanted to start some shit with you." That was a bold-faced lie and Tommy knew it. It was just the overtly natural thing a man would do: lie their way out of things "You should know how jealous ass chicks be actin' when it comes to me and you."
Shaking her head she continues "Do you really think I give a shit about what any of these bitches think? Just tell me the truth it ain't that hard. You claim to be a man so man the fuck up and be honest. Did you fuck Tameka or not."
"You wanna know the truth?" His voice was filled with annoyance. His car comes to an abrupt stop once he reaches their place. Turning off the engine he faces her "I'ma give you the truth but don't start wit' all that whinin' shit when you hear it."
She motions for him to continue but then only grew pissed by what he said "Yeah I was hanging around Tameka but it's not like I fucked her, she only gave me some head. Happy now."
That was all it took for Kim to start seeing red "See I knew that cock-eyed bitch wasn't eyeing me for no reason." Her voice grows even louder by the minute "You ain't shit bald-headed ass bitch! And to think that for a second I almost believed you. The fucking nerve for you to go fuck a bitch at my job? Really Tommy?"
"You make me so sick witcho' arrogant, selfish, no good cheating ass. You ain't shit and it's a good mothafuckin' thing I stomped that bitch's face in." Grabbing her purse she quickly opens the door and exits the car.
"Can you just listen?" He asks watching her as she exits his car.
"Fuck you!" And with that she slams the door, almost shattering it, and proceeds to walk off.
Shaking his head, Tommy could feel himself growing equally pissed. Not wanting to admit he was wrong, he grabs his keys and follows the woman who was steadily walking away from him.
Slamming the door behind him, his booted feet trudged against the wet pavement in quick steps "Kim can you just listen for a sec?"
"Fuck you!" She turned around flipping him off before continuing to walk. Unlocking the house swiftly she heads inside before slamming the door.
"You wanted to know the fuckin' truth and can't handle shit." His face was met with the door slamming. Opening the front door, he continues following her inside.
"Go to hell, Tommy!" From a neighbor's view, they were sadly used to the never-ending arguments and accusations of infidelity thrown around "As a matter of fact go back to that bitch Tameka I'm sure she'll want some more."
"Kim!" Tommy yelled out once more reaching out and grabbing her hand. He was getting tired of chasing her in the house.
"Let go of me!" Kim tried to pull away from him but he only held on her tighter. If he thinks that it would calm her down, he thinks wrong "I don't need you, Tommy. In case you've forgotten you're not the only man who got eyes on me, you're just lucky that I give yo' sorry ass a chance." Pushing him off of her, she enters their bedroom.
"What other guys, you talkin' about Kim?" Was she trying to play some mind games on him? Did she think it was funny? "You talkin' to other niggas Kim!?"
"Boy please, don't act surprised. When you fuckin' around and shit you expect to just hang around like a heartbroken puppy?" Kim scoffed before rolling her eyes. She was lying, she wasn't fucking around. She could've if she wanted to but didn't want to give him the satisfaction of knowing that she would even stoop to his level so for now she just wanted to rile him up "And I don't even know why you wanna be askin' questions since you just admitted that you was fucking around with Tameka."
Sitting on the bed she proceeded to take off her heels all while fighting the urge to throw them at him "How stupid did you think I am Tommy? Did you think that I wouldn't find out? I see the way the bitch looks at me like she was proud of somethin' and shit. I noticed the way you started actin' shifty Tommy. I may be a lot of things but stupid ain't one."
Brushing past him with her heels in one hand she heads into the closet "I'm tired of this shit, I'm tired of your shit. And like I said I got plenty of other niggas just waitin' at my doorstep."
Tommy just stood there listening to everything Kim was throwing at him. Although she was right about certain stuff his ego couldn't help but feel a little bit bruised "Now Kim listen.—"
"I ain't tryna hear not a damn thing come out of your mouth aight? 'Cause it's all lies anyway." She flicks him off, rolling her eyes before shutting the closet shut.
"Now what me and Tameka had was nothing serious.—" He goes to explain but Kim shuts it down quickly.
"So now it was somethin'. You make me sick and I'm so tired of your shit!" Now she was even more pissed. Tommy tried to explain himself even more but Kim didn't want to hear it pushing him back whenever he tried to get near her "I don't wanna hear shit!"
There was nothing but a string of words, insults, and attempts to explain that could be heard between the two. A screaming match is what you might call it. "Do you think I'm stupid," Kim exclaimed as she was beyond angry, she was now furious and pissed.
It only took a few seconds for his words to fall silent on deaf ears as she continued to release all the tension that was building up inside of her as he exclaimed, "Kim, shut up." She continued pushing him away whenever he tried to approach her, until finally, he was not able to take it anymore, shouting in frustration, "Shut the fuck up!"
In an attempt to calm her down, Tommy grabbed her arms in an effort to keep her from pushing him anymore, even though he knew that it would not be possible, stating, "Look, what happened between me and Tameka was a mistake, and I'm sorry. It will never happen again."
Still taken aback by his outburst, Kim wouldn't give him the satisfaction of knowing the certain effect he had on her and said nothing. However, she continued listening to his "sorry's" and his "It'll never happen again" because she knew better.
Deep down she knew that he was bullshitting but for some reason, she just couldn't let go. Eventually, all the gifts, all the sweet lies, all the random trips would mean one thing: Toxic.
𝖎. I know, I know it's been a short while. I've just been busy with life and was procrastinating the hell on this imagine. I didn't know how to finish it so take it with a grain of salt. To all my girlies and guys please leave any toxic relationship, friendship, situationship because it is not worth it. Also if you haven't noticed, Tommy is based on Tommy from Belly (1998) so of course you guys know how he acts in that. But anyway let me know what you guys think!
