EREN THREW A PUNCH AT Reiner as they both fell onto the ground harshly. "Eren!" Mikasa said worriedly as she looked down at the spot where Eren and Reiner crashed before looking up where the Colossal Titan stood.

"If only... If only I'd cut off their heads! That was the perfect chance! I should've been able to do it, so why?!" Mikasa thought as Reiner and Bertholdt's faces flashed in her mind before she looked down once again.

"That was it. There won't be another chance!"

On top of the wall, the Colossal Titan was letting out steam as he extended his hand.

"Everyone, jump away from the wall!" Hange ordered. The scouts began running as the Colossal Titan's hand came crashing down, grabbing Ymir and Simon.

"It got Ymir!" Historia shouted as she was being carried away by Rachel.

"As well as Section Commander!" Dillon exclaimed.

The Colossal Titan opened its mouth and threw Ymir and Simon inside it.

"He ate 'em!"

Historia's eyes widened as she looked like her whole world fell.

"Th-This can't be..." Armin stuttered. "Bertholdt..."

Hange gritted their teeth. "All soldiers, prepare to attack! We're taking down the Colossal Titan! It's a threat to all humanity! Swarm the huge bastard!" They ordered.

Hange and the other Scouts fly towards the Colossal Titan as he swung his fists towards the Scouts, but the just dodged it and flew to its other arm.

"Just like the reports said, he's slow!"

"It might be big, but that's it!"

"Compared to the Titans we normally fight, this'll be easy!"

"We've got this!"

"Now's our chance! Slice up his neck!" Hange ordered as the Scouts hooked their ODM gear onto the Colossal Titan's nape. Before they could however, the Colossal Titan let out a huge blast of steam, blowing some of the Scouts away.

"It's so hard to breathe. I feel like my body is on fire." Oliver thought.

"Everyone, fall back!" Hange shouted. Oliver falls to the ground but at the last second Dillon grabs him and carries them on top of the wall.

"Oliver, are you all right?" Dillon asked worriedly.

"He's not dead." Oliver completely ignored Dillon's question as his friend raised an eyebrow in question. "Simon. He's not dead. I refuse to believe that."

"Yeah. There's no way he's dead." Dillon agreed. "Oliver, we're gonna get him back."

"Damn right we are." Oliver said.

"My hand!"

"Water! Bring water!"

Hanger held up their sword. "He's trying to disappear again?" They asked.

"No, something is different. The last time he vanished instantly, but now, he's maintaining his form and emitting heat like a furnace. If he keeps protecting himself with steam..." Armin stopped as he tried to hook his ODM gear to the Colossal Titan but was unsuccessful. "We're unable to attack him with ODM gear! Wh-What do we do?!"

"We can't do anything. We wait." Hange replied. "Squads three and four, take position behind the target. Rashad has command."

"Got it!" Rashad replied.

"Squad two will wait here. Lauda is in command."

"Understood!"

"It's yet to be seen how long he can keep his body burning, but... eventually he has to come out. We wait for that moment to attack." Hange stated. "Listen up. Forget about capturing them. Kill 'em... and don't hesitate!"

Armin was taken aback by their words. "Armin, Squad Simon, and squad one follow me!" Hange ordered as they flew down. "We've got a date with the Armored Titan!"

On top of the wall, Connie was carrying a soldier who got caught in the attack. "Christa! Connie! Get further back!" Nifa told them both. "And take care of those two injured soldiers."

"U-Um!"

"Huh?"

"Ymir can't possibly be dead yet. Please... Rescue her!" Historia pleaded.

"Right." Nifa agreed.

"Where are Reiner and Bertholdt?!" Connie asked. "They don't have their ODM gear either! Please, go find and help those two!" Nifa was taken aback.

Reiner threw a punch at Eren's Titan as he flew back.

"You shit... You big piece of shit. And here you wouldn't shut up about a soldier's duty... During close combat training, were you always holding back on me?" Eren thinks to himself. "You're so strong, it's ridiculous. I can't even move an inch of my body."

"I always thought you were a stand-up guy. Someone who remained calm, regardless of the situation... A guy who put your comrades ahead of yourself... And I... To think at one time I wished... to be as strong as you someday."

Mikasa headed towards Reiner and tried to slice his nape, but ended up breaking her blades due to his armor.

"That did nothing!" Mikasa thought as Reiner threw another punch as Eren fell back again. Mikasa remembered how Eren couldn't land a punch. "Eren's attack didn't... and my blades don't work either?!"

Mikasa pulled out fresh blades as she headed for the Armored Titan once more as she tried to slice his tendons. "What's worse, unlike Annie, his whole body is hard!"

"Eren!" Mikasa called out to him as Eren looked towards Reiner who was coming towards him.

"Hey, Reiner..." He thought as his hand regenerated. "I don't know what kind of face you're making right now, but..."

Flashbacks of the Colossal and Armored Titans destroying the wall flashed through his mind. "You guys... You really are the worst pieces of shit. I bet in the history of mankind, nobody's done anything as terrible as you." Eren thought.

Mikasa was stabbing her now broken blade onto Reiner's armor. She looked up to see Eren's Titan rising up.

"I've gotta erase you. You shouldn't be allowed to exist anymore. What the hell are you thinking? I've never felt so revolted before. Just remembering you and your self-righteous face is making me sick. It makes me want to vomit. You... big damn pest!"

Mikasa quickly used her gear to move out of the way. "It's time to exterminate you!" Eren shouted in his head as he let out a roar as he went to punch Reiner. But Reiner beat him to it as he punched him, sending him back.

Reiner crashed into Eren who was training with Annie. "Why the hell did Reiner come flying this way?" Eren asked.

"Hey, Annie." Eren looked over to see Mikasa walking towards them.

"I wanna learn that move, too. Show me." Mikasa stated.

"I don't know... That move is meant to be used against humans, so I don't think you have any use for it. But... I'm interested to see if it works..." Annie began as she got into a fighting stance. "...on a beast like you."

"Are you serious? It's happening..." Eren muttered as this got everyone's attention.

"Hey, hey! Are they going at it?" Connie questioned.

"It's the big showdown!" Sasha exclaimed.

"Who'll win?!"

"Annie, you think?" Marco asked.

"Huh? Are you stupid?! I bet my whole dinner on Mikasa!" Jean informed.

"What do you think, Eren?" Reiner questioned.

"I..." Eren trailed off as he looked at both Mikasa and Annie who were having a stare down. "Which one, I wonder?"

Eren crashed onto the ground. "Huh? How did that turn out in the end? No... Why am I remembering it now? Is this what they call having your life flash before your eyes?" He thinks to himself as he got up. "Actually, who gives a shit anymore? I don't think I've felt... this awful in my whole life."

"Eren!" Armin shouted from up above the wall. "Don't do it! You can't win in a slugfest! Run this way! Eren! Don't try to fight him!"

Mikasa landed on the ground as she watched Reiner head closer to Eren. She gritted her teeth to see that her blade was completely broken as Eren's Titan roared.

"Eren!" She called out.

"This is bad!" Armin stated.

"Did he lose control?!" Hange asked.

"No, I don't think that's it." Dillon responded as both Hange and Armin looked at him. "His motivation is hatred."

"Huh?" Hange said in confusion.

Eren and the Armored Titan threw a punch at each other but Eren easily dodged and puts him in a lock, before slamming him onto the ground.

"He threw the Armored Titan!"

"Wait... Isn't that... the technique Annie used?" Armin asked himself.

"With that, he just might be able to break the Armored Titan's armor." Rachel commented.

"I don't know what the hell you guys are trying to accomplish by doing all this, but..." Eren thought as he raised his fist. "Now that I think about it, your plan has been full of flaws from the start! Your biggest mistake was this!"

Eren locks his legs onto the Armored Titan's neck. "You should've thought twice about teaching me how to fight!"

A crack was heard on the Armored Titan's shoulder as Eren applied more pressure. The Armored Titan from Eren's headlock as he puts him in another headlock.

Eren pulls the Armored Titan's armor while his Titan screams. Eren pulled stronger and the arm came off of the Armored Titan.

"He did it!" Mikasa exclaimed as someone landed beside her which turned out to be Armin.

"Eren! Can you hear me?! Run away! Get closer to the wall! Their goal is to kidnap and take you away! We've gotta escape and prevent that from happening!" Armin explained.

"But, Armin, Reiner isn't going to let us do as we please!" Mikasa reminded him as they watched the Armored Titan stand up.

"It's dangerous here! Get back, you two!" Oliver ordered as he landed behind them.

"Yes, sir!" Armin replied as he took off to follow Oliver. Mikasa took one quick glance at Eren before following.

Oliver heard loud thuds coming from behind them as he saw Eren following them towards the wall.

"Nice, Eren! Good call!"

"He's back in control again." Mikasa commented.

"Yeah, but like you were saying, it'll be almost impossible to escape Reiner." Armin stated as they looked at Reiner who was walking towards them.

Meanwhile, Hannes and another Garrison shoulder appeared on the wall as they saw the Colossal Titan.

"What the hell?" Hannes questioned as he landed on the wall. "I knew it... The Colossal Titan. Why did that bastard show up here?!"

Hannes then turned to Historia. "Where's Eren?" He asked. "What's the situation?"

"Eren and the others are that way!" Historia replied as Hannes looked down to see Eren's Titan and Hange flying down towards him as Eren looked at them.

"Eren?!" Hannes questioned. "Is that Eren's Titan form?"

"Listen up, Eren. If you're gonna escape, we've got to find a way to halt Reiner and buy you some time! Can you break his leg with another one of those joint locks?" Hange asked.

"Our blades don't seem to work on him, so use your head and figure out the best course of action!" Hange finished.

Eren nodded at Hange as they blushed. "Woah." They exclaimed in awe.

Oliver looked over at Mikasa and felt a gloomy aura around her.

"Don't worry about it. It's just Hange being their usual self." Oliver told her as Mikasa just nodded at him.

"Mikasa!" Armin called out to her, handing her his blades. "Use these. It's the rest of my blades."

"I'm counting on you!" Hange told Eren as they flew up to the wall.

Suddenly, the Armored Titan started running fast, breaking the armor behind his legs. The Armored Titan slammed Eren to the wall, causing him to fall.

Eren puts the Armored Titan in a leg lock and the Armored Titan starter punching Eren, but Eren dodged the punches.

"Don't stay on the ground, Eren!" Dillon shouted

Eren kicks the Armored Titan, making him get off of him and Eren stood up and walked backwards.

"If his entire body was hard like stone, there's no way he could move like that. In the armor they used in wars of the past, it had sections at the joints not covered in metal to allow for movement. Like at the armpits and groin... And also... the spot behind the knee." Hange explained.

"That makes so much more sense. If we slice those parts, we'll be able to stop him." Oliver spoke up.

"Precisely! As expected of someone who's apart of Simon's elite squad!" Hange exclaimed as Oliver sweat dropped.

The Armored Titan charged towards Eren, but Eren didn't evade it and instead he puts the Armored Titan in a headlock.

Oliver quickly swung in and sliced his blades down the back of the Armored Titan's knees.

The Armored Titan's push weakened as Eren applied more pressure that the armor on the nape started breaking.

The Armored Titan then stopped pushing Eren, confusing the Scouts.

"He stopped... But why there?" Armin questioned as he looked up.

"I suddenly got a really bad feeling..." Oliver mumbled, his gear attached to a tree.

The Armored Titan let's put a cry, alerting all of the Scouts.

"Be on your guard! He's calling in Titans!" Hange informed.

"No other Titans spotted in the area!"

"What a useless struggle. Try screaming for help with your head ripped off, you idiot!"

"No... that scream meant something... Shit! Don't tell me it was for him!" Oliver thinks to himself as he looked up towards the Colossal Titan.

Eren applied more pressure and blood sprayed out of the nape.

"What's with the Armored Titan? Why'd he scream like that?" Connie questioned from up above the wall.

They suddenly heard a cracking noise that came from the Colossal Titan.

"Hey... hey, hey, hey, hey, hey!" Connie exclaimed.

They watched as the Colossal Titan started collapsing.

"Above you! Look out!" A scout warned from up above as the Colossal Titan began falling down the wall.
