He stood outside the classroom, holding his bag tightly. Biting his lower lip, he whispered to himself, "Grade 12." Taking a deep breath, he stepped inside. The classroom looked neat and tidy.

With a sigh, he made his way to the first seat. He pulled a book from his bag and placed it on the table, flipping through its pages as he began to read.

"Hey, what’s up?" a boy said, catching his attention. Standing up, he responded calmly, "I’m Takahashi Ryo. Nice to meet you."

The other boy chuckled. "I’m Han Juwon," he replied.

Ryo nodded and went back to reading his book, while Juwon walked to the last bench.

"Hi, everyone!" a cheerful voice rang out. She walked into the room with a bright smile.

"Oh, hello," Ryo greeted her.

"What’s with the happy face?"  Juwon called out, teasing her as she walked into the room.

She glanced at him for a moment but chose to ignore his comment. Instead, she turned her attention to Ryo, who was still seated and reading.

With a bright smile, she walked over and stopped in front of him. Extending her hand for a handshake, she said, "I’m Valerie Grace Jung."

Ryo looked up, surprised for a moment, before closing his book and shaking her hand. "I’m Takahashi Ryo," he replied softly.

"Oh, so we’re just ignoring people now?"  Juwon added, feigning offense. "Valerie, you know, smiling too much can make your face hurt."

Valerie finally turned slightly, giving him a brief, unimpressed glance. "Then you don’t have to worry,"  she shot back coolly, before turning back to Ryo.

Juwon chuckled, clearly amused by her quick response. "I think I’m going to like this year,"  he muttered, settling back in his seat, still watching for any chance to get under her skin again.

The room went quiet as everyone minded their own business, but then she walked in. Holding her bag and smiling softly, she entered the room.

She quickly spotted Ryo and said, "Hey, hot guy."

Ryo looked up and replied, "Oh hey."

"I’m Jung Iseul, and you?" she asked, looking at him with curiosity, waiting for his answer.

"I’m Takahashi Ryo," he replied softly, feeling a little nervous.

"I like it," she said with a smile. "It suits you," she added, her tone playful and warm as she looked at him.

"We’re here," Kang Minho, the class president, announced as he walked into the classroom with Min Aran by his side.

Iseul, who had been standing by the door, scoffed and quickly walked toward them. "You’re late," she said, her tone sharp as she crossed her arms, clearly not happy.

Min Aran looked at her with a playful smile. "I’m not late. You’re just early," she replied, raising an eyebrow, her voice light and teasing.

Minho chuckled softly, shaking his head at the little exchange, while Iseul rolled her eyes, clearly not amused.

The door swung open again, and in walked Kim Jiwon, looking a bit flustered as she rushed into the room. "Sorry, sorry! I’m late!" she called out, her cheeks a little pink from running.

She hurried to find a seat, but in her rush, her bag bumped into a chair, making a loud noise.

Juwon, sitting near the back, couldn't help but chuckle. "Nice entrance," he teased, watching Jiwon quickly straighten herself up.

Jiwon glanced at him, a little embarrassed, but she shrugged it off. "Hey, it's not like I meant to be late," she muttered, trying to act cool as she found an empty seat.

Valerie, who had been observing the whole situation, immediately spoke up, her voice calm and supportive.

"Give her a break," she said, looking at Juwon. "It’s the first day, and we all know how crazy mornings can be."

Juwon raised an eyebrow but smiled. "Alright, alright.."

Jiwon smiled gratefully at Valerie. "Thanks. I appreciate it," she said, feeling a little less embarrassed.

"No problem," Valerie replied with a grin. "Better late than never, right?"

Jiwon chuckled, feeling more comfortable now. "Exactly. I’m here now, so let’s get this day started."

The room settled, and the small chaos of the late arrival quickly faded. With new faces and a fresh start, it looked like the day was going to be full of surprises.

He looked around the classroom, taking in the new faces before walking confidently to an empty seat.

"Hey, I’m Quinn," he said, his voice friendly as he made his way to a desk.

Juwon, still leaning back in his chair, raised an eyebrow and smirked. "Another new face, huh?"

Quinn glanced at him and grinned.  "Yep, just moved here. Hope you’re all ready for some fun."

Kim Jiwon, who had been sitting nearby, chuckled. "You sure about that? This class is already getting interesting."

Quinn shot her a playful look. "I’m always ready for interesting."

Valerie, who was sitting a few seats away, looked over and smiled. "Well, it’s nice to meet you, Quinn. Looks like you’ve got the right attitude for this place."

"Thanks," Quinn replied, settling into his seat. "I’m here to make things a little more exciting around here."

Minho, still observing everyone, leaned forward in his chair and added, "It’s good to have some new faces around. Should be a fun year."

Quinn nodded, his relaxed smile still in place. "I’m hoping so. Let’s make it a good one."

She looked around the classroom, and her eyes immediately landed on Han Juwon.

"Great, another Juwon," she said, her voice dripping with sarcasm as she approached him.

Han Juwon looked up, a little confused. "What do you mean, 'another Juwon'?" he asked, raising an eyebrow.

Kang Juwon crossed her arms and smirked. "I’m Kang Juwon. You’re Han Juwon. We’re both stuck with the same name. This is going to be fun.”

Juwon blinked, then laughed. "You’re kidding, right? We can’t both be Juwon. That’s just weird."

Kang Juwon grinned. "Well, it looks like we’ll have to sort out who’s the better Juwon. I vote for me, obviously."

Han Juwon chuckled and leaned back in his chair. "Oh really? I’m not backing down that easily. I’m the original Juwon, you know.”

The door opened once again, and in walked Ryu Jay and Cheolwon. It was clear they were both new, looking around the room as if searching for a place to sit.

Jay, with a relaxed attitude, stepped inside first. She looked around the room briefly, then made her way to an empty desk in the middle of the classroom. She didn’t say anything, just quietly sat down, glancing at the other students with a small, shy smile.

Cheolwon followed her in, carrying his bag with a casual air. He scanned the room, his eyes pausing on the empty desks. He shrugged and chose a seat near the front, still observing the others with mild curiosity.

Juwon, sitting towards the back, noticed their entrance but didn’t recognize them. She raised an eyebrow, turning to her friend with a half-smile.

"New faces," she muttered, then glanced at the two new arrivals, wondering who they were.

Jay sat down, adjusting her bag on the desk, and Cheolwon did the same. Neither of them had spoken to anyone yet, still figuring out where they fit in the room.

They weren’t sure how the others were, but they knew they would have time to figure it out.

Minho, who had been watching the new students, looked up at the clock and nodded to himself. "Looks like everyone’s here now," he said, more to himself than anyone else.

"I... I hope I'm not late," she said softly, her voice barely above a whisper. Everyone turned their attention to her, and she quickly added, "The class isn’t complete without me, right?"

Aran and Ryo looked up from their desks, a little confused by the timid yet confident remark.

Harin hesitated for a moment before continuing, adjusting her bag strap nervously.

"I'm Harin," she introduced herself, her voice still soft but clear enough for the room to hear. "Nice to meet you all."

She walked to an empty desk near the middle of the room, her eyes briefly scanning the other students.

Harin sat down and tucked her bag under the desk, giving a small, nervous smile.

"Okay," she murmured to herself, settling into her seat. "Now it feels like the class is complete."

The students turned their attention as a man walked in, carrying a bag over one shoulder and a stack of papers in his hands.

His appearance was casual yet professional, and there was an air of calm authority about him.

"Good morning, everyone,” he said, his voice deep and warm. “I’m Kim Haneul, your homeroom teacher for this year."

The room went quiet for a moment as the students processed his words. Then, slowly, a few students gave small nods or murmured greetings.

"I know it’s the first day, and I’m sure you're all still getting to know each other," he continued. "But don't worry, we’ll make it through. Just let me know if you need anything at all."

He placed his papers on the teacher’s desk, then looked back up at the class. "Alright, let’s get started, shall we?"
