after a long 12 hr ride we got off the plane, I WAS SOOO NERVOUS. I MEAN, WE WHERE IN LONDON! we went to grab our suitcases so that we could leave the airport, but there was one problem..

we didnt have a car. "dad how are supposed to leave the airport without a car?" "we'll just take an uber to the hotel" oh, how dumb am i to not think of an uber, like bruh.

so my dad called an uber and we got to the hotel, it was very big. there where 38 floors. we where on the 6th floor. i was glad because i didn't really like heights.

when we got in the room it looked not too bad, there where 2 beds, a bathroom, tiny kitchen, small closet, and a tv, and a balcony. "how long are we staying here?," i asked.  "maybe 3-5 day or if we find a house sooner," my dad said.

"dad why are we looking for a house and not an apartment are'nt we only staying here for the summer?"
"well we are moving here"
"HUH?"
"yeah i got offered a job"
"but you said it was for the summer"
"no honey we are moving here"

i didnt know we where moving here, i was VERY sure my dad said it was for the summer. i didnt mind because i could visit my family and friends on holidays.

TIME SKIP:

my mom and i got settled down and had rested, my dad went out to a car dealership because one of his old friends that lived here owned a car dealership. he went to see if he could find a car since we where according to my parents moving here.

while i was on tiktok, my mom got a call. it was my dad, "hey im outside the hotel and i got a car, we need to go see some houses," he said. "ok we'll be there in 5," my mom answered. "what happened?" i asked my mom since i couldn't hear the phone.

"your dad got a car and is outside waiting for us to come, we are gonna go house- hunting.
" can i come?
"yes of course you can come"
"alright!"

i told my mom i was gonna change and she waited for me, i wore a tank top with sweatpants and a jacket because london is quite bipolar.

i ran out of the hotel room at took the card with me, when i got to the elevator it was taking forever to come but just as i said "UGHHHH" it opened.

once i got out of the elevator i was at the main floor, my mom was waiting for me at the entrance of tr hotel. "cecilie come here!" i heard her yell from a distance, i walked to where my mom was and we went to my dad.

we got in the car and put on our seatbelts, the car looked normal, although it was like the cars in those british movies. the drivers seat was on the left side.

after 15 ish mins we got to te first house.
