"SOMETHING'S BOTHERING ME." Kisaki spoke up as he glanced down. "I don't think Mikey's going to last much longer."

"What?" Takemichi said, getting taken aback.

"Baji's death is weighing him down, but he acts like it doesn't bother him." Kisaki continued on.

"You're the one who killed—" Chifuyu started to say angrily.

"Chifuyu!" Takemichi warned, stopping him from advancing on Kisaki.

"If nothing changes, Toman will be finished. We've got to give Mikey our support." Kisaki informed.

"We don't need to work with you jerks to do that! Isn't that right, Takemitchy?" Chifuyu asked as Takemichi stayed silent.

"We're keeping this mission secret from Toman. So, I can't use anyone in the Third or Sixth Division. That means we need you guys." Kisaki stated.

"Takemitchy, I hate wasting time. I want your answer by tomorrow."

Kisaki soon leaves with Hanma following him.

"I'm against it. Takemitchy, we don't need to work with Kisaki! We can do this ourselves." Chifuyu claimed as the two were walking down the street.

"Are you sure?" Takemichi questioned.

Chifuyu held an irked expression as he grabbed onto Takemichi's shoulder. "He's the guy who murdered Baji-san and Tachibana Hinata! Don't you get it?" He questioned.

"I do get it! But what're we supposed to do?" Takemichi shot back. "You want to kill Kisaki? That's not the right thing to do! What we need to do is kick Kisaki out of Toman! We also got to stop Hakkai from killing Taiju! You think I like working with Kisaki? But if we work with him, then maybe we can learning something about him! We might find a way to get him kicked out!"

Takemichi paused as he took deep breaths. "I never... ever want to see... that horrible future for everyone again." He continued on, images of Hinata, Draken, Akkun and Chifuyu appeared in his mind. "To achieve that, I'll even work with Kisaki. Please, Chifuyu. Work with me!"

"Oh, jeez. I guess I've got no luck with the chicks again this Christmas." Chifuyu huffed out.

"Thank you, Chifuyu!" Takemichi exclaimed.

"You've got it good. You've got a girlfriend." Chifuyu said.

"Christmas sucks when I've got to work with bastards to fight other bastards." Chifuyu complained.

"Hey, you hungry?"

Later, Takemichi and Chifuyu met up with Kisaki and Hanma. "That didn't take long. You got an answer for me?" Kisaki asked.

"We'll work with you guys but only until Christmas." Takemichi responded.

"Smart decision. I appreciate it." Kisaki stated.

"All we want to do is protect Hakkai. We don't plan on being friends with you guys." Chifuyu informed.

Kisaki leans back on the railing. "This is one screwed-up team."

"We're only here because we have the same goal." Takemichi muttered.

"I absolutely hate you guys's damn guts." Chifuyu commented.

"What'll we call our team? 'Season's Beatings?' Or how about 'Hanmas?' Or 'Team Massacre?' Like it?" Hanma questioned.

⊱ ────── {⋅. ✯ .⋅} ────── ⊰

It was snowing outside as Kisaki, Hanma, and Chifuyu were waiting for Takemichi.

"Shit, it's cold! It's freaking snowing too!" Hanma complained, hugging himself as he tried to keep himself warm. "Hey, Chifuyu. Where the heck's Takemitchy?"

"He said something came up." Chifuyu responded.

"You sure he's okay? Our plan's supposed to happen tomorrow." Kisaki reminded them.

"Why don't we get dinner first?" Chifuyu suggested.

"Sorry, I'm late." Takemichi greeted as he walked into the diner where Chifuyu, Kisaki, and Hanma were, causing the three to turn.

"What's your problem? Tomorrow's the big day, man! You're not taking this seriously." Hanma informed.

"Jeez, Takemitchy, what's with your face?" Chifuyu asked.

"What?"

"Holy shit! Your ugly mug looks even worse now!" Hanma stated as Kisaki stayed silent.

"Haha." Takemichi lets out a laugh as Chifuyu didn't say anything. Takemichi sits down next to Kisaki.

"This is going to go down at Udagawa Christ Church in Shibuya. Fortunately, he'll go to worship there in the dead of night when nobody's around." Kisaki began explaining.

"Wouldn't a church be full of people on Christmas night?" Chifuyu asked.

"That happens tonight, on Christmas Eve. Around this time tomorrow, it's empty. If Hakkai's going to attack Taiju, that has to be when he'll do it. We will wait for Taiju outside the main chapel. Hakkai should already be inside waiting for him." Kisaki replied. "Takemitchy, you have to convince him."

"Since you're friends, you're the best person to stop Hakkai, right?" Kisaki elaborated before standing up. "And before Hakkai can confront Taiju, us three outside... will beat down Taiju."

Later, Chifuyu and Takemichi were walking outside after meeting up with Kisaki and Hanma.

"Well, it looks like our secret operation against BLACK DRAGON is going to happen." Chifuyu said. "I don't know what happened to you earlier, but tomorrow, you can vent all your anger!"

"Hina... This time, for sure, I'll protect your future." Takemichi thinks to himself.

The snow kept coming down as Ichirou stood next to Inui who was holding a clear umbrella over Taiju's head while Kokonoi was on the other side of Taiju. They were standing in front of the gang members.

"Listen up, men! Today, me, Rou, and Koko will be in charge of BLACK DRAGON." Inui announced before removing the umbrella away from Taiju, closing it shut before him and Kokonoi bowed to Taiju with Ichirou reluctantly doing the same.

"Boss, we'll be going now." Inui told him.

"Right."

Later, Ichirou was leaning on the railing with a clear umbrella over his head. Inui was standing and Kokonoi was sitting on the steps — both of them having clear umbrellas as well.

"Looks like we're going to be pretty busy today. What do you want to do, Koko, Rou?" Inui questioned.

Kokonoi chuckled. "Isn't it obvious? I'm sticking with you, Inupi." He replied.

Inui sighed as he turned to face him. "Keeping your promise?" He asked.

"Huh?" Kokonoi stood up. "I forgot all about that."

Kokonoi sticks his tongue out and began walking away. "Even after all these years, I never understood yours and Hajime's friendship." Ichirou mumbled.

"I already told you everything." Inui reminded.

"I know. And it sounds complicated as hell." Ichirou said, making Inui chuckle.

"By the way, Rou. Happy birthday." He said. "Do you want to do anything?"

"It's just another birthday. Turning sixteen isn't that big of a deal." Ichirou responded as he shrugged.

Inui exhaled, his breath showing in the cold air as he said nothing.
