๐๐๐๐๐๐๐ ๐๐๐๐๐ - the ears

๐๐๐๐๐๐ ๐๐๐๐๐๐ ๐๐ the now unconscious man as she rubbed her head to fight the headache that the mess of a day had brought to her; forgetting her fingers were laced with blood. Her eyes latched on to Jessica and Luke as they conversed to the side about how they should make sure that everyone that was dear to them was safe.
Olivia frowned for a moment, remembering that the man in the hot seat had stared directly into her eyes as he mentioned her brother; Obviously this 'Hand', not only knew about her, her family and the messes she had gotten into, but they knew where Derek was and that didn't sit right with her, not at all.
She fished through her coat pocket, passing up the half-empty packet of spearmint gum, a small pocket knife, a pen and the receipt she had for the beer she had purchased earlier and grasped her phone, swiping her finger to unlock it and stared down at the 'Call' button just below the picture of her brother holding his thumb up with a smile, his sharpened wolf canines sticking out.
She didn't want to get him involved, she didn't want to get anyone involved but she needed to make sure he was okay, other than her uncle, Derek was the only family she had left. With a sigh, she quickly pressed the button and brought the sleek matte black phone to her ear, the line connecting after four beeps.
"Liv? You okay?"
"I'm fine, Der, just checking in, everything okay?"
The older Hale chuckled "Yeah, everything's fine, you don't need to worry so much."
"Just-" She sighed and bit her lip whilst giving Jess and Luke a nod as they joined her. "Just be careful okay, I'm on a case with Jess right now; not a lot to go on and uh, might not have time to check-in, okay?" The girl wasn't exactly lying to her brother, this did start out as a case and they really didn't have much to go on, but even so, she hated withholding the truth from him.
"Yeah, no problem, say hi to Jessica for me and call when you can."
Olivia looked at Jessica as she spoke, "Jess says hi too, I'll call you as soon as I can, see you later, I love you."
"We love you too, little wolf." Her uncles teasing tone filtered through the phone, making her lips twitch as she ended the call with a soft 'Bye'.
Jessica gave the Hale a reassuring smile; one many didn't see often. The girls were probably two of the most sarcastic people you could meet. But to each other, Malcome, Trish and Luke, well, if they were ever hurt in any way, they would bring hell on earth. "He okay?"
Olivia nodded. "Yeah, I didn't wanna worry him, but..." She sighed, "I wanted to make sure he would keep an eye out, seeing as that asshole somehow knows about us. We should go and check on Trish and Malc."
Jessica was about to respond but rolled her eyes instead, as Matthew made his way over. "I've told Stick I'm going to get Foggy and Karen, get them to the precinct, they should be safe there."
Luke nodded as he shared a look with the girls. "I'm gonna get Claire, you two get Malcome and Trish, we'll meet back here?"
Olivia looked at Jess who nodded, the two of them agreeing with the plan, both of them silently praying that their friends were unharmed.

"You got it?" Jess spoke impatiently as Olivia lifted her nose into the air, inhaling deeply and trying to get a lock onto Trish's scent.
The Hale rolled her eyes as she took another breath. After a second or two, the trail became clearer and her nose perked up. "Yeah, I've got it, this way."
The two of them ran as fast as they could, Olivia leading Jess whilst following the scent of the Chanel perfume Trish wore; the one the girls always complained smelt too much like a candy factory.
Olivia's nose had led them to a restaurant she had never been to, but by the looks of it, was somewhere she could see Trish visiting frequently. She tilted her head as she heard Trish's voice over the rest and turned to Jess with a nod. "She's here."
Jess let out a huff of acknowledgment before pushing forward, Olivia watching as she disappeared into the restaurant before leaning against the wall.
She finally took a moment to herself to think, a part of her really wished she hadn't of returned from her visit to Beacon Hills so soon, she could have avoided this whole mess. But then again, if she had found out that Jessica, Luke or any of the others for that matter, got hurt whilst she vegetated on a couch playing Uno with Derek and her uncle Peter, she would never have forgiven herself.
In all honesty, she didn't know what would happen, would she and the others make it out alive? All she did know was that no matter what, she would do anything to keep the others safe, even if that did mean putting herself in harm's way. Just like the man had said earlier, she had left a trail of blood and death, she wasn't about to let another person join the list.
"Stairwell. Go." Jessicas voice hit her ears as she tried to listen in, clearly, things were going south and in all honesty, the Hale didn't know why she expected otherwise. She scanned the area and quickly ducked into the ally next to the restaurant.
She pushed off her feet with force and gripped onto the side of the building, using her claws to aid her climbing and huffed as a gust of wind smacked her hair into her face, a few strands falling into her mouth. The wolf kept climbing as she tried to spit them out before finally being able to pull herself onto the roof. She quickly smacked her hair away and ran for the rooftop door, running down the stairs as fast as she could until she could hear her friend's voices from the other side of a door.
As she pushed through, a man had sent Jessica to the ground. Olivia growled lowly as she stalked forward, nodding to Trish to move to the side. The blonde did as she was told, pushing herself against a wall as her friend took quiet steps forward and pulled her turtleneck over her mouth and nose, the rest of her face almost unrecognizable due to wolfish features that had taken over.
Jess stumbled back to her feet as she panted before running forward and throwing punches at the man, getting a few jabs in return.
The man brandished a knife causing Olivia's eyes to widen, she let out a roar as she ran forward and grabbed the man by the collar of his shirt. The wolf pulled him off of her friend and launched him across the room before helping Jess to her feet, receiving a nod of thanks from the black-haired woman.
The man, however, quickly jumped to his feet seemingly undeterred and held his knife in the air as it glinted dangerously. He began to run forward and Olivia followed his actions, she raised her hand, ready to puncture him with her claws and the man rose his knife higher, ready to slice through her skin.
Before either of them could make contact with the other a baton flew through the air and collided with the man's knife, sending it to the ground with a clatter. Olivia threw a quick glance over the man's shoulder only to see Matt, now dressed in his Daredevil... Costume?
Not letting her upper hand slip, Olivia's eyes snapped back to her opponent and she grabbed the man's now knife free hand and pulled him forward, smashing her head against his before pushing him back and launching her right fist into his face.
The man was forced back and into Matt's direction due to the power she had put behind the attack and the vigilante wasted no time in engaging in the fight; smacking the man with batons and throwing punches whenever he could.
Olivia knew he had enhanced senses, but even so, seeing a blind man fight as well as he was, was still pretty amazing. That, and the fact that even though his costume looked utterly ridiculous, she had to give it some credit, after all, it did absolute wonders for his ass. She tried her best not to laugh at her own thoughts, not exactly the time.
Jess and Matt took turns fighting the man, throwing punches and kicks before Jess grabbed the man as he was distracted by Matt and threw him in Olivia's direction. The Hale responded quickly, slamming her foot into the man's back, launching him off of the balcony and to the lower levels of the restaurant, gasps of surprise echoing form staff and customers.
Jessica sprinted to the balcony, Olivia joining her a second later and the two girls shared a look of confusion as the man was nowhere to be seen.
The P.I lifted her head as Matt made his way over, she glossed her eyes over his outfit and Olivia bit her lip, she could almost taste the upcoming comment.
"The scarf looked better."
Matt said nothing in response, simply standing like a disappointed child, the sight alone making Olivia snort as she walked over and patted him on the chest. "Don't worry, you're my favorite power ranger."
She grinned as he sighed; his shoulders and head slumping before she made her way over to Jess and Trish, who held looks of amusement at her comment, especially Trish who had to bite her lip to stop the laugh that had been bubbling from escaping.
Jess rose a brow at the wolf who made a sweeping gesture with her hand as if to say 'Go ahead'. The P.I smirked and spared a glance at Matt who hadn't moved from his spot. Well, more accurately, she glanced the two little horns that sat atop the helmet of his costume. "Nice ears."
"They're horns."
