Personality: Ruby is a sweet, forgiving girl, who is admired by people throughout the lands. She's humble and kind-spirited. She's also the exact opposite of Escanor's personality, going out of her way to put herself down, and sometimes bring others down without realising. Her crime was actually self doubt, so it goes to stand that she always doubts herself.

- Photosynthesis- Ruby can take in energy from the sun. This is why she doesn't eat much, if at all.

- Love Drive - By locking eyes with a person, Ruby can make them fall in love with her. Their loves goes from devotion to blind loyalty.

- Animal Manipulation - Pretty simple. Ruby can manipulate and control any animal. She can also communicate with them.

- Nature's Heartbeat - Ruby can control nature and become one with it. She can bring even the most dead flower back to life.

- Refresh - If she dies, she will put herself into a cocoon to sleep for a few hundred years. Afterwards, she emerges and is back to normal.

- Voice Mimicry - She can copy someone's voice perfectly.

- Alteration - She can alter her physical form to whoever she desires and use their abilties

- Tailor - She's able to manipulate anything someone is wearing, right down to the material.

Weakness

Her self doubt and low self confidence stop her from ever going all out. This is a personal limitation she must overcome.

However, a more logical weakness is that she is vulnerable to the cold and freezing attacks, due to her high body moisture.

Backstory

Ruby was created by a mother, for her child. The child had always imagined an all-knowing butterfly princess capable of controlling and being one with nature who was loved by everyone she came across. So that's what her mother created, and that's how Ruby was brought to life. She was also cursed to live the life cycle of a human. From birth to death and back again.

She met Meliodas when she joined the Sins, a group of highly skilled warriors picked for their abilities and probability to end the Ten Commandments. At this point, she was a mere child, yet her magic power spoke louder than words at how much potential she had.

Somewhere along the way, she placed half of her magic power into a singular rose to bloom for all of eternity. She put it up on display in the Boar Hat Tavern. Whilst the rose blooms, Ruby cannot die.

Ruby and Ban have a special kind of friendship. When she gets mad, he can simply pat her on the head, and she'll calm right down. If he doesn't get there in time, it's usually a bad thing, because it means she won't be able to contain herself. In some ways, they are bound to be together forever, maybe not as lovers, but definitely by each others side.

Escanor and Ruby are known for having exact opposite sins and personalities, however their powers are quite similar. Ruby has no pride in herself, whereas Escanor is as self-confident as it gets.

Crush

Ruby has a crush on a fellow sin. Fox Sin of Greed, Ban.

Current Residence

She lives deep in a forest, in a castle built several years ago that has been overgrown by vines. However, despite the vines, Ruby has grown several rose gardens where lots of thriving wildlife live.

Other information

- Ruby often takes on the physical form of a young girl so she can venture to nearby towns and get food and clean water. She is still an outlaw after all.

- She enjoys teasing her other sins by mimicking their voice and bodies so she can prank them.

- When she gets truly mad, she's actually at her strongest. This is due to her magical ability 'Divine Earth' which is where she draws power from everything around her. That includes animals and plants as well, which causes them to die and wither as she uses their life force. It's why she tries to contain her rage.
