Malleus woke up somewhere he didn't expect to be. Well, grass is definitely where he didn't fall asleep. All he remembered was talking to Cater..and then falling asleep..And then the dark mirror's voice! That's why he was here! Malleus quickly scrambled up to his feet. Though the grass was pretty nice to lay on, he was still in an unknown place, and it was dangerous just to be sitting out in the open like this...

He started to walk along the path, the wind was nice and the sun was shining. "I suppose this place isn't too bad right now. It's quite nice actually." Malleus continued to walk and admired the scenery around him. It wasn't long before the sun started to set. And even that...it was absolutely breath-taking...

"Halt! Who are you?!" "Huh? Oh thank the sevens...I've finally found someon-" Malleus soon found himself tackled to the ground, a spears pointed straight at him "What is the meaning of this?! Are you looking for a fight?!"

"You have no room to talk! How did you get here?! Stone's gate is heavily guarded!" A hilt of the spear suddenly struck him in the head pretty harshly when he didn't answer. He was starting to get mad...and it was showing. Before they could get another hit it, dark energy started to surround them, and the boy who was there one second...was gone the next....

"Lord Morax! We have a trespasser in the plains! He took out all of the troops stationed there! We didn't want to call you in at first..but he's just too powerful. He's going to head to the city if we don't get this monster under control.."

"And this...monster, just appeared out of nowhere..?"

"Correct sir. He wouldn't answer any questions during an interrogation."

"You say monster, but you refer to it as a he. Do you think it's an adepti?"

"He looks nothing like them, but he does have horns. Almost like a dragon, though, pretty different from yours, sir."

"I see, please lead me to him."

"As you wish."

Darkness. He was supposed to be different...now he's the monster everyone made him out to be. Malleus stood in the middle of many injured soldiers, some reaching out to help their friends. None of them were killed...or..it didn't look like it at least. Balling up his fists, he started to walk away from the mess he caused. Malleus began to remember everyone's words. 

"People like that will KILL you if you rub them the wrong way!"

"Such a monster..the queen should've gotten rid of him when he was still in the egg.."

"I am so disappointed in you Malleus. Why did I ever choose to date a monster like you?!"

"Cater...No...y-you don't mean that!

He doesn't mean that...he never said that...GET OUT OF MY HEAD!"

"You can't run from me Malleus~ Embrace me! Get angry! Prove to them that you're not a pushover."

It's not like that...I'm not like you...

"Silly~...I AM you."

 "Hello? You're waking up! How wonderful!"

"Guizhong..don't touch him."

"Moraxxx! Let me do what I want! He's just a kid! There you go...don't sit up, you're going to be okay." Malleus started to awake in a cold sweat. He looked around to see 3 people surrounding him. Two men...and a lady..? He winced in pain before sitting up. "I am never doing that again..I'm in control..no one is coming for you..he's not coming for you."

"Whatever are you talking about..? No one is coming for you. You're safe here! I'm Guizhong, and this is Morax. He's the one that found you. Now, can you tell me why you attacked all those people..?"

"I-I'm so sorry...they hit me and I snapped. They were yelling. Please excuse me for that. I don't have complete control of my transformations.."

"What's your name?"

"You don't..know...me..?" Malleus stared at them intently before smiling brightly up at them "My name, is Malleus. Malleus Draconia. Pleased to make your acquaintances."

"WHAT DO YOU MEAN HE'S GONE?!"

"L-Lilia, please, he was with me! He was in my arms! I have no idea where he went! I would've felt him lea-" Cater was suddenly pushed against the wall violently by Lilia.

"Father. I sense no magical traces...it wasn't him-"

"IT HAD YOU BE! YOU WERE WITH HIM! I KNEW I SHOULDN'T HAVE TRUSTED YOU WITH HIM!"

"LILIA-SAMA-"

"This is why humans can't be trusted...you took away my son...YOU TOOK HIM AWAY!!!" Lilia let him go and started to cry. He fell to the floor and Silver started to rub his back and comfort his father. He motioned Cater to leave while he raised Lilia to his feet. Cater grit his teeth and looked up to Lilia. The pain was present in his eyes.

"Look at me Vanrouge. I did NOTHING to Malleus. I love that man with all my heart. And if anyone hurts him then I go crazy. He came to ME, crying. I don't know what happened to him...but shame on you for thinking I would do something to my lover."
