It was dark inside. Didn't anyone know what electricity was? Rae glanced around the dull lounge-like hallway, which transitioned into a large walk area that had a red carpet leading straight to a small, but a grand staircase.

Squinting through the dark, Rae studied her surroundings. Whoever lived here must have been rich or something. In what little lighting the lobby offered, Rae spotted a young man with tousled clothes and his shirt was open, revealing a nice and tone chest. He laid across a small backless couch, unmoving.

Rae frowned. Didn't he hear her come in? How rude, but what tingling sensation was going through her just now? Maybe he was ignoring her on purpose? Trying to hold down her smile, she slowly approached him, taking in his appearance, well, besides his messy attire.

Flawless. He seemed to have a flawless beauty. A feminine, but handsome beauty. His hair was reddish-pink under the fading light, but Rae had to admit, he pulled it off quite nicely.

"Excuse me, " Rae spoke up, halting a few feet away from him, her eyes completely trained on him. "Are you a resident of this household?" She asked. She received no answer, nor did the male twitch to her voice, giving her no signs that he was remotely listening to her.

Frowning once more, Rae didn't like how he was ignoring her so rudely, but her wrists began to tingle, as they did when she snapped the rubber bands at her skin.

"Are you even alive?" Rae deadpanned, getting to her knees, edging closer to the body, taking his wrist, frowning as she felt the coldness of his skin, and pressed two fingers down on his veins, searching for some kind of pulse. "Huh. A dead body." Rae dropped the man's onto his stomach, "Should I try to find someone and get help or should I bury him to avoid suspicion from rising?"

Before she could do anything, the hand snatched her wrist, firmly gripping her limb. Rae barely flinched, the body sitting up. The male was very much alive, it seemed. Rae looked up at him to make eye contact with a pair of very beautiful emerald irises.

"Damn, you're loud." He yanked her forward, somehow managing to flip her around as she fell onto the couch, grunting out as her back smacking against the cushions. He pinned her wrists above her head as his own lowered closer to her.

Rae's eyes widened, feeling a heat burst within her chest. Was he going to punish her for waking him up? The feeling fluttering like a million butterfly wings. A blush painted her face as well as a meek whimper escaping her, turning her head, her head full of many indecent thoughts.

"Oh? You like it? I think I'll have some fun with you, then." The man's cool breath blew out onto Rae's neck. He automatically became smug with her reaction. Barely his teeth, closing in on Rae's snowy neck.

The teen awaited the pain that would surely come quickly. Her fingers twitched with anxiety and her wrists ached under his cold fingers.

Before anything could happen, a cold and much older, but still young, voice distastefully spoke out, "Ayato. Just what do you think you're doing?"

A man entered the fray. He was tall, wore a black and red suit with white gloves. His candy crimson eyes held a scornful glare. His lifted a gloved hand, pushing his wire-framed glasses up the bridge of his nose.

Suddenly, The man - Ayato - 'tsked', releasing Rae and leaning back, much to her dismay. He shot a glare at the said man.

"Reji." Ayato was very displeased with being interrupted.

"This is an entrance hall, a place to greet."

"Whatever, I'm done."

Rae sat up herself, bringing her hands to her lap, fingers twitching to snap the rubber bands again. The man - Reji - suddenly turned his attention to her. Her heart pounded painfully against her ribcage with such keenness. She slides from the couch and onto to her feet.

"And you are?" Reji was cold again.

She loved that harshness being directed at her, blushing lightly, "Rae. No last name. My uncle sent me here for an...extendable stay."

"I heard nothing of this, " Reji said before looking at Ayato, "Ayato, what's going on?"

The reddish-pink-haired male was just as stumped upon hearing this, "How the hell should I know? You never mentioned anything like that, Melons!"

"You never asked, besides I could I? You had me pinned down like a hog for slaughter." Rae said with a short tug of her lips, peeking upward. She actually did like being held down. He was very handsome, and she supposed he was the first aggressive male who actually was attractive to take action. But, "Melons? Are you calling me 'Melons?'" A dark brow shot up in a confusion.

"Of course it is, you idiot! Your tits are as big as melons!"

Rae blinked, looking down at her chest. Well, he's not wrong, she thought. Rae looked back at Ayato, and then to Reji, who was in deep thought.

"This is strange, I wasn't informed of this at all, " Reji turned around, "We shouldn't speak here, come this way. See to her luggage."

Rae was confused, but then a butler-looking man slipped from the shadows, taking her suitcase and then retracted into the shadows.

~

Rae was taken to a living room. Its exterior was absolutely stunning. She took notice of the Victorian fireplace with vibrant flames roaring within. She sat on the short couch with velvet cushions. Ayato sat in a stiff-looking armchair with matching velvet sewed-in cushions. She couldn't make much observation when Reji spoke up.

"Now then, it would be polite of you to introduce yourself and tell us, what are you doing here?"

Rae wondered who 'us' was. Besides Reji and Ayato, she didn't see anyone else. Deciding against asking, she complied with a nod, "Yes, I--"

A giggle interrupted her and Rae felt two presences behind her, "What do we have here? Are my eyes deceiving me? A cute human girl in our living room?" Suddenly a red-haired boy with green eyes leaned over the back of the couch, giving Rae a lick on her cheek.

The girl honestly didn't expect the action and squeaked, placing her hand on her face while leaning to the right.

"Mmm~" He grinned with a small moan, "You smell so sweet and nice~"

"Please let me try some as well?" Another boy, this time with lilac hair leaned over the couch and repeating the redhead's action, licking the other side of Rae's face. Squeaking out again, Rae leans forward, curling her body to a fold.

Although the boys were attractive and she did like the sudden attention, she felt out of place with two of them ganging up on her. She presses both hands on each side of her face, in hopes to cover up her reddening cheeks.

"Mmm! She is sweet!" The second boy said, almost sounding like he wanted more of Rae.

"Now you two, " Reji scolded, causing everyone to look his way, "That's rude behavior, don't you think? This is a new guest in our home."

The redhead hummed amusingly, "You don't want a taste too? How you Kanato?"

The purple-haired boy - Kanato - nodded in agreement, "Yes."

Rae felt dizzy! She couldn't tell who to look at. There were four men now. She was in a room with four men, three of these men seemed to be into physical touching. Oh, her nerves were trembling with thrills! How exciting this was! She kept hunched over to hide her raging blush.

"Knock it off, you guys!" Ayato growled in irritation, "Yours Truly saw her first! So Yours Truly will be her first everything!"

Rae felt somewhat flattered by that possessive comment.

"Pathetic! I'm so sick of hearing you call yourself 'Yours Truly!'" A new voice entered the room.

"FUCK OFF! I KNOW THAT'S YOU, SUBARU! SHOW YOURSELF!"

Rae, by this time, couldn't help but be drawn out by the drama and uncurled herself, fluster gone and curiousness out and rearing. She spotted a silver-haired boy with red irises. Just as the other males in the room, he was just as beautiful. His expression was twisted with utmost rage.

"Right here. I thought I smelled a human in here! How dare you wake me with your stench!" His fists clenched.

Rae couldn't help but wonder how much pain would he cause with his hands? Besides that unconditional masochistic mind of hers, she also wondered how he got into the room. She didn't hear any doors open or close, so how did he...?

Suddenly the boy - Subaru - grit his teeth, punching the wall with his fist, "DON'T YOU IGNORE ME!"

Surely enough the wall crated in, cracking like tough glass. Rae flinched at the sound of his voice when it reached her ears. It was like music...heavy metal music. Loud and screaming. Her eardrums vibrated with discomfort. It tingled and tickled her inside, though.

"Was anyone told about this?" Reji cut through the tension and silenced everyone, "A young lady has come to stay with us and nobody knows why?"

As much as this was thrilling, Rae decided to end the confusion then and there, "Excuse me, " She stood up, eyes on her, "Perhaps this is all a mistake, um, I should take my leave now." Bowing, she walked to the door.

"Hang on, " Reji spoke up, stopping the teen from leaving, "I'm attempting to verify this information about who you are. Wouldn't it be rather rude to just leave?"

Rae turned to him, biting the inside of her cheek until she tasted blood, thinking about her answer thoroughly, "I suppose..."

"Are you the woman he mentioned?" The new voice echoed throughout the room.

Who...? Rae looked around, her eyes flickering up to the balcony, where she saw someone draped over a couch. If she squinted hard enough, she could make out that he was blonde and wore a black jacket.

"Do you know anything about the girl?" Reji asked, looking up as well.

"Maybe..." The lazy response made Rae want to just facepalm.

"Don't maybe us, we want an explanation," Kanato said, hugging his bear, which Rae just noticed now.

Lazily, Shu responded, "That guy, he contacted me the other day. He said we will have a guest arrive from the church, treat her with respect."

"Are you telling us that Melons here is the prospective bride?"

Bride? That's weird. No one told Rae she was getting married to anyone... or in this case, multiple few. She knew any other person would have freaked out by now, screaming as they ran for the closest exit.

"Is that all?" Kanato spoke monotonously.

"More like a sacrifice than a bride~" The redhead giggled sadistically.

Rae felt a tingle throughout her body, more so in her fingers. She itched to snap those bands on her wrist again, nonstop until the skin would break.

"He also mentioned not to kill her." Shu abruptly added.

Rae didn't' catch what the redheaded guy said, but she certainly heard Reji. It was no mistake she was here. Her uncle purposely landed her in a house with six, very attractive males. All seemed to have the hearts of cold-hearted predators.

"It appears there is no mistake about you being here. Allow us to introduce ourselves, " Reji said. "That is the eldest son, Shu, " Reji gestured to the man on the balcony, "I am Reji, the second son. The third is Ayato."

"You won't get away next time, " Ayato licked his lips.

It sent shivers down Rae's spine, thinking of what he could possibly do to her to inflict pain on her body.

"Kanato, " Of course, Rae already figured Ayato, as she met him first, and then Kanato who clutched his teddy bear with his growing sadistic gleam in his purple eyes.

"Please let me sample you again." The boy smiled twistingly.

"Laito, " So, that's what his name is. Rae finally got a good look at Laito. How could she miss it? The fedora decorating his head, I mean. It made her think of an American singer she used to listen to...uh what was his name? Mikey Blackson? No...Michelle...that's a girl's name! Micheal Jackson! There we go!

"Pleased to meet you, little bitch~"

The actual hell! Shouldn't he at least get to know her before suddenly nicknaming her? Rae bit down on her tongue.

"And finally, Subaru."

Ah, yes. The angry white-haired boy with a tiny fuse. "Tsk. What a waste of time."

"Oh. I suppose it's nice to meet you?" Rae scratched the back her head, "Although, I'm not too sure about the whole bride thing, even though it does sound fun. I should call my uncle and get more---why do you have my phone?" Rae quickly took notice that Ayato (who had suddenly had snatched her flip phone. "Give me my phone, please." She reached out, expecting him to put it in her palm. It was the only phone the church ever allowed her to have. As much as she like this feeling of cat and mouse twisting her insides, she would be damned before someone broke her phone.

The reddish-pink-haired male grinned manically, "Why should I?" The male flipped the phone open, pressing random buttons. Rae went to take back her stolen device, but it was plucked from Ayato's hand by Subaru.

"What are you--"

With the slight tightening of his fist, Subaru crushed the phone in his hands, little bits of broken screen and green chips plunged to the carpet before he released the bigger chunks of the electronic fall to its broken demise.

Suddenly, she glared fiercely at the white-haired boy, "You're going to pay for that."

Rae earned a reflected glare back, "Get lost!" Subaru growled.

The girl sighed in exasperation, "I'm so not going to deal with your bitchy attitude." Although harsh treatment is what she thrived to be stuck in, she wasn't going to allow some punk destroy her only phone and then get his jollies from it. "I think I'll just leave."

Suddenly, Laito and Kanato stood on either side of Rae. Laito placing his hands on her shoulders, his mouth was very close to her hair.

"There, there, Bitch-chan! You're about to spend a very long time with us, you really won't be needing a silly phone." Laito's teeth barely scraped against Rae's ear lobe.

"I've actually been feeling kind of peckish," Kanato said.

Rae suddenly lost her anger, that heat dispersing into a new kind of heat. It boiled over the top and it was hard to control the emotion when she was surrounded by....snap. Snap. Her fingers pulled at the rubber bands rather harshly. The stings didn't faze her, but at least she wouldn't lose control of herself.

Rae's face slowly heated up. Why was he trying to get her riled up? It wasn't exactly fair! Her body stiffened, feeling Laito lean closer to her ear, "You smell so delicious."

Rae decided to escape the sexual tension she was stuck in-between, continuing with her rubber band snapping. It was just a matter of time before the bands were to break apart--SNAP!

Pain split through her wrist. It wasn't the small stings she felt when snapping the bands. It felt so much more painful. She bit her lip in an attempt to keep from grunting out. Her eyes flickered to her wrist, widening when seeing the crimson liquid seeping out from behind the broken skin and bands.

"Would you look at that..." She mumbled, "I'm bleeding." She pressed a finger on her broken skin.

Before she could react, her body was filled with dread suddenly. Dark stares burned through her back rather harshly. Being the curious person she was, she twisted around to see the silent commotion. Her breath caught into her throat upon seeing dark enduring expressions from each and every one of the men in the living room. Their eyes seemed gleam brightly with an incredible interest of Rae's blood.

Her heart pounded with excitement, maybe a small pulse of fear, too. What just are they?

"Vampires?" Rae didn't know why she said it, but she felt it was right to assume so.

She wasn't going to run, no matter what. This was so thrilling! Never did she think there were creatures such as vampires existing, wow! Rae would rather cherish such acknowledgment than run like a dog with her tail tucked between her legs. From countless stories, she's heard that a vampire resents the Cross, garlic weakens them, and much more. But these guys didn't seem to have any weaknesses. Not that it mattered much, anyway.

"Strange, I actually expected you to high tail it out of here?" Ayato was surprised by Rae's lack of fear.

"Why would I?" Rae responded, pulling out a handkerchief from her back pocket, pressing it to her wrist to prevent any more blood from escaping the tiny wound.

"We're vampires, for one--"

"Uh-huh, " Rae nodded, "I'm not running. You'd probably catch me, anyway. Besides, I don't really like to run, the nuns back at the church made us do laps nearly every day. It was torture, I tell you." She casually spoke, obviously sending a shock through the brothers.

"So, you're not gonna run?"

"No."

"Why not?"

"You see, " She looked at them, all seriousness, a blush rising to her cheeks, "I'm a masochist!"

The brothers honestly did not expect such an answer from their new bride. This was certainly the first time they have gotten a girl who seeks pain rather than run from it.

It was very strange.
