Masochist Bride | Laito's Punishment

Apologies for the late chapter! I hope you like this one, it's a little longer, or at least I hope so. Don't forget to vote and comment. Word count: 4085

Rae couldn't remember the last time she had seen a phone, and by golly, was she relieved to see one at the school. She was still pissed with Subaru about breaking her only phone. She was glad she hadn't run into him yet.

It was really old fashioned with a rotary dial. Rae bites her lip harshly, picking up the phone and holding it to her ear as she rotates the dial around the numbers. It's been many days since she last spoke to her uncle, she wanted to talk to him. For no particular reason other than to deliver a new phone to her.

Don't get her wrong, the vampires gave her great pain, and she loved it. She wanted something else to do while she wasn't being used as a blood bag. As the telephone rung its annoying dial, Rae chewed the inside of her cheek.

Rae waited to hear the rings of the dial, but she never did. She frowned. This old contraption may have stopped working years ago! Ugh. The busty teen agitatedly slammed the phone back onto its stand. Well, there goes that idea! Huffing, Rae crosses her around under bust, because it's obviously harder to cross them over her chest. She goes to turn around, but she suddenly feels a pair of staring eyes.

Craning her neck, Rae looks to the right of her. Her suspicion was right, someone had been watching her.

"I didn't know you were still here, Kanato", Rae turned her body toward him, cocking her head to the left.

"Of course I am, Rae, you act so surprisedly. But you must know I waited for you." The purple-haired boy peeled back into a fanged grin.

The teen says nothing. She wouldn't say she was surprised. Oh no. She sure wasn't surprised. The thrill of being stalked by one of her vampires was blossoming in her bosom. The purple-haired vampire stood there with his teddy bear clutched in his arms.

"I'm thirsty." Kanato's face splits with a sliver of a sadistic, fanged smirk. "And so is teddy bear, " His eyes flicker to the stuffed animal. "Tell me the truth teddy bear...what do you think of this insensitive girl?"

Well, that was new. Rae has been called nearly almost every name in the book, every insulting word, and yet, being called 'insensitive' was rather new. The ravenette doesn't respond to Kanato.

"Then shall I bring something to drink? As an apology to being ignorant toward teddy?" Rae went on to say, but instead, she received a harsh glare from Kanato.

"Would you kindly refrain from addressing my teddy as if you know him! I am the only one teddy will ever need!" Kanato spat before glancing down at his bear. "Isn't that right, teddy bear?"

"Right...I wasn't aware of that. Um, I'll be right back." Rae says before wandering off to the nearest lounge.

~ A few minutes later~

Holding a paper cup full of steaming coffee, Rae approached Kanato.

"Here's some coffee, so I hope-" Rae gasped sharply as Kanato suddenly hits the coffee from her hand, sending the hot liquid flying onto the floor.

The back of Rae's hand stung heatedly.

"Don't you know that I prefer things that are sweet!" Kanato growls. "I hate bitter things that have a bitter aftertaste! So I hate coffee! WHY IS THAT SO HARD FOR YOU TO UNDERSTAND!"

Rae felt a flaring flame within her chest. She liked him yelling at her. Throwing his frustrations onto her. He even had the audacity to spill hot coffee on her. He was as bold as his brothers, it seems. But...

"That's not a reason to spill it on the floor-" She decided she would remark, but she once again was interrupted by the angry vampire.

"DON'T THINK THAT YOU CAN TALK BACK TO ME LIKE THAT!" Kanato growls acidly. "YOU'RE ONLY A WORTHLESS MORTAL, SO YOU HAVE NO RIGHT!"

Worthless mortal? Was that all he had buried within his mind? Needless to say, she actually felt insulted he wasn't doing his best to make her feel terrible? Rae makes direct eye contact with Kanato, rather boldly with a displeased frown.

"Heh, " Kanato smirked cockily. "I know your type and you aren't sorry at all! Don't even bother apologizing!"

She wasn't going to, anyway. Not with that attitude she wasn't.

"Then, " Rae spoke up with knitted eyebrows. "What do you want from me?"

"It should be obvious, " Kanato suddenly sounded so dejected. "I wanted you to figure that out on your own."

Confusion sparks within Rae. What did that mean? Did he want her blood? If he did, why didn't he just say so? But still..."Then should I get you something else?"

"No thank you, " Kanato was calmer now, but still spiteful. "I don't want it anymore. Did that hot coffee splash your hand when it fell to the ground? I hope it didn't burn your flesh, " Kanato giggles twistedly grabbing Rae's hand roughly. "You poor thing~"

Rae watches as Kanato licks her coffee covered fingers. His tongue was rather warm and smooth. His eyes freeze Rae's insides.

"Hey...sometimes I wonder if you hate me and teddy bear, tell me, do you? Why aren't you interested in learning more about us?"

Rae yanks her hand back not liking how the coffee residue had made her hand sticky.

"I don't know enough about you to hate you or your teddy bear. It would be nice to know you a bit better." Rae wipes her hand on her skirt.

"Then I would appreciate it if you made the effort to understand me." And with that, the vampire turns and walks away.

"And I thought I was weird..." Rae mumbled.

Something was missing. Hm? Her pink eyes flickered to the floor next to the table where the telephone sat. Ah! Her bag was missing. Where did it-?

"Kanato, I can't find my bag. Have you seen it anywhere?" Rae called to the vampire boy, making him halt his walk.

He doesn't turn around as he says, "Oh, that? I put it on the roof."

"Why?" Rae truly did not want to walk up god knows how many flights of stairs just to get to the roof, retrieve her bag, and walk back down.

"It was to punish you."

What a perfect punishment it is. A tiring punishment, but perfect nonetheless.

"Teddy, everyone knows that the phone over there has been broken for a while now...it's been that way for almost two weeks, right?" Great. Just great.

Where in the hell was she going to find a phone now?

Sigh.

~

"Stupid...stairs...!" Rae panted heavily.

A hand pressed against her ample bosom and another gripping the staircases' rail. Exercise has never been a favorite of Rae's. Even a masochist like her would agree exercise is more than enough torture.

"I would like to find the person who invented stairs...and shove them down the stairs."

Rae managed to get her breath under control, standing straight up, causing her vertebrates to pop. Grunting out softly, Rae barrels through the roof door. She hoped her uniform wasn't affected by the kinetic heat that built up within her.

"...you! Forever! And ever and ever! I love you despite myself. I've never forgotten! Your memory haunts me to this very moment. I remember the sound of your voice, your intoxicating scent. I remember everything..."

A voice broke through the night air. Rae blinked, almost startled because she hadn't expected anyone to be on the roof. Was what going on? A love confession? Or are these dirty little hooligans being rabbits and trying to multiple? Rae had accidentally walked in on two students while entering the janitor's closet. She had spilled her cranberry juice (Reiji is rather persistent about her drinking it, so she does so without complaint) and she walked in for cleaning supplies and there they were.

Going all out, er, should I say in? (A/N: Sorry folks...typo malfunctions...kids say the darnedest things!)

Anyway, the more Rae wandering further, she had realized it was Laito. He was alone, oddly enough.

He stands by the edge of the roof, only a few feet away from walking off the school, well, if it weren't for the victorian fence. The red-haired vampire stares up at the moon, it being an exciting shade of red.

He seems to not have noticed Rae's presence yet.

"Who's there?" A-nd she jinxed herself. "I can hear you breathing."

Laito swiftly twists around, annoyance etched onto his until he made eye contact with Rae. His lips peeled into a smirk. Something in Rae quivered as she caught a glimpse of his fangs and her mouth grew dry.

"If it isn't it little bitch~!" He turns his body toward her. Oh, he had a million thoughts of planned torture flowing through his sadistic mind. "Don't you know that eavesdropping is impolite?"

"I'm looking for my bag." Rae merely responded, even indicating her search by glancing around. "You just happened to be here."

"You overheard something, didn't you?"

"More or less." Rae shrugged, knowing the danger of her words. She wanted to be locked with fangs chewing into her flesh. She could practically taste her blood on the tip of her tongue.

"Mmm...what shall we do about that?" Like lightning, Laito is in front of Rae, his hand seizes her neck tightly.

Rae's hands grab Laito's forearm. Her fingers curling around his limb, nails snagging against his sleeve. Her pink iris's peer into his green ones. It was like staring into the eyes of a wild beast as it licks its chops.

Breath slipped away from her and Rae found it hard to drink in the air, but she refused to tap out just yet.

"Bad little girls need to be punished, " Laito giggled madly. "Come to think of it, you like it, don't you? So, tell me, little bitch, where would you like it? I suppose I should choose the most sensitive place there is, " Laito swats Rae's thick locks away from her shoulder and leans his face closer to her collar. "My thirst will be hard to quench tonight. We, creatures of the night, become particularly when there's a full moon."

Rae's flesh breaks out into goosebumps at Laito tears her collar away, a button flying open. A blush recolors the girls' cheeks. Not because she was practically being assaulted by the Sakamaki vampire, but because she knew he was going to bite her.

Laito's nose grazes her neck as he inhales her scent like a man who is breathing in fresh air for the first time in years. He moans a little before speaking again.

"Oh, how we get terribly thirsty! And the need to quench that thirst becomes so powerful it nearly drives us mad~!" Laito forces Rae to crane her neck so that he still had a hold on her and get a good exposure of her flesh.

He drags his tongue from the beginning of Rae's collarbone to the crease of her neck.

Rae tenses with an aroused grunt. "Laito, please!"

She wasn't begging for him to hurry up, which in a way, she kind of was. She also wanted him to let go of her throat so she can breathe again. If this were a punishment, he could have thought of another way to punish her.

"I don't know whether to blame it on the moonlight or not, but I do believe I'm getting a little bit excited here."

"L-Laito...I need to-" Rae winces as Laito ravishes her with his fangs, slurping rather loudly. Her lungs cried out for air, and if she wasn't so agitated about not having a phone, she would've been okay with this. But, no. She's not okay right now.

Rae's agitation built up into desperation, so, she shoved Laito away from her. She inhaled the crispy cool air hungrily, panting as if she had run up the stairs again.

Her eyes fixated on Laito while she clasped her fingers on her bleeding neck. And with that, Rae left the rooftop, not bothering to find her bag.

!

In town, somehow Rae managed to get there. She wasn't rushing herself or anything. And yes, she wanted a phone, but she wanted to speak to her uncle. Not about the phone...okay, but a little. In some way, she felt a little homesick.

He was the one always taking care of her and she just wanted to hear his fatherly voice one more time. When the nuns packed her things and tossed her in the limo, she really hadn't been able to say goodbye.

Shaking her head furiously, Rae smacks her face lightly. She knew running from Laito would make him angry. Hell, she didn't know why she even ran away from him.

"Hm?" Something caught her eye.

Was that? Up the sidewalk, there was a telephone booth. Seeing made strings be strung within her.

She approaches the booth, opening the door, and steps inside.

Taking the phone in her hand, she dials her uncle's number. She waits as the phone chimes with the connection.

"Uncle? It's me, Rae. I was calling to-" Rae quickly realizes she wasn't speaking to her uncle.

Her uncle would have bounced with an upbeat greeting the second he heard her voice. Before she could voice her thoughts, Laito's laugh seeped through the earpiece.

"So, little bitch, have you enjoyed your scraps of momentary freedom? Foolish little bitch..." His voice was thrilled and amused and... close?

Rae barely manages to glance out of the telephone booth and she is pulled out while Laito laughs madly. The phone clashes against the glass with the assaulting action. Rae gasps nearly losing her balance.

"Laito, release me now." Her voice was hard and demanding.

Rae has had it up to here with being chased. She truly hated exercising. Make no mistake, it's kept her trim and slender, but she would rather be in a straight jacket. Was it too hard to ask for a phone call with her uncle?

"Oh? It seems my little bitch is trying to be the alpha!" Laito smirked. "And I was beginning to think you liked to be in pain, masakitty~"

"I may be a masochist, but I hate being manhandled." Rae yanked her wrist away from Laito's cold grip.

The red-haired vampire opened his mouth to retort Rae's words, but a bright bluish light shone down on them and a newscaster's voice interrupted him.

"It's my pleasure to introduce today's guest, Mr. Tougo Sakamaki, " The newswoman said with an excited lippy smile. She held papers, which were rested onto her lap as the camera suddenly faces a man.

He had whitish blonde hair and glasses.

But Rae couldn't really observe anymore of the man because the camera focused back on the newswoman.

"Mr. Sakamaki is one of the many politicians who are very enthusiastic about Japanese strategic foreign policy and today I would like to ask him his opinion on how political structure will be followed through with their new interpretation of municipality."

"Who's that?" Rae glanced at Laito.

"He is the great Tougo Sakamaki!" Laito gasped rather enthusiastically before looking down at Rae. "He's also our father...although to me, he's nothing more than the object of my hatred."

Rae barely managed to nod at his words when her heart suddenly clenched. What was happening to her?

"Mr. Sakamaki...Tougo?" Rae mumbled placing a hand on her forehead to soothe an oncoming migraine. "N-no...Karl Heinz..." It was strange. She felt like she knew the person. Like she had heard and said that name before. Why did that name feel so familiar

It was sudden. Explosions behind her eyes forced her into sudden anemia. Her body became heavy and her knees buckled.

Laito barely had enough time to catch the unconscious teen. His arms slunk around her quickly and he held her to his body. How did she know that name? How would she, a mere clueless mortal, know his father?

"Just who are you?"

His green orbs glower at Rae's unconscious form.

!

"N-Nughh..." Rae awoke with a splitting headache. Her brain was punishing her, it seems.

As she sits up, she is quick to notice that she was in her bedroom.

"How did I get here?" Rae mumbled before the memories rolled into her mind like an old film.

Oh. Laito must have brought her back. At least he didn't change her. Rae tugged her collar together, managing to button her open shirt together.  The girl was glad her shirt wasn't ripped from the seams, otherwise, she would have had to walk around in her bra. A fitting punishment if she were doing a "walk of shame". Or so she's heard women do so after having a "one night stand".

Do women normally do intercourse with a nightstand? Rae thought it was very unnatural and she was rather appalled.  Given that she practically grew up within a church, she didn't know much about sexual activities. The nuns only taught her the meaning of sex and how it's done, through stammered speeches and blushes faces.

Shrugging the memories away, Rae slips from her bed. Her neck was still tender from Laito's feeding, but she didn't mind it.

But still.

What had happened to her? Why did she collapse like that? Nothing seemed to be wrong with her, or at least to her knowledge. Her body moved correctly and wasn't sluggish.

Perhaps she should go pray for her wellbeing? It wouldn't help. How could she believe in something that may not even exist? God could be real, if vampires were real, then he must be too.

Fixing her tights and shoes, Rae exits her room to go to the church she's seen around the Sakamaki property.

~!

"It's not locked?" Rae found herself somewhat surprised as she easily opened the church door. "Oh, well...saves me the time of trying to unlock it."

Her footsteps were light and echoed off the empty pews and balconies. The inside was dark, but light by the moonlight on the stained glass just several feet behind the podium, which seemed to be more of a stone table than anything.

She approached the podium, with the full intention of getting to her knees and asking for her uncle's health and wellbeing. Her voice bounced throughout the church.

"Don't bother asking God about that." A louder, much more masculine voice said, causing Rae to stop muttering her pray. "I'm pretty sure your heavenly father isn't going to answer top of the morning."

"Laito." She merely said, getting to her feet and turning toward the vampire.

"What's up, Little Bitch?" The green-eyed male playfully winked at her.

"How did you know I'd be here?" Rae questioned.

Was he stalking her? Her nerves tingled excitedly, although, she hoped he wasn't watching too closely.

(Okay, so this is where it gets complicated. Laito goes on about how he knows Yui to the very core, but with Rae, she already knows she was adopted. So, I found it a little difficult to go by the script. So...I'm skipping a few lines, sorry to disappoint)

Laito cackles. "You shouldn't waste your breath trying to pray. God isn't listening because he doesn't exist. He's just a bit of nonsense created by you humans."

"I know, " Rae responded dimly, keeping her eyes focused on Laito. "Couldn't hurt to try, right?"

"But you love the agony, don't you? Praying to an invisible figure. Placing all your faith into this nonexistent being. Do you seriously believe in him?" Laito paused near the second row of pews, just a few feet away from Rae. "Do you honestly think that as long as you have faith, he'll help you whenever you need it? Are you stupid, Little Bitch? Or are you just naive?" Chuckling he continues his monologue while closing in on Rae. "I suspect you're both, I wouldn't be surprised." Laito seizes Rae, pinning her to the podium. "Whatever the case, you're clearly a simple-minded masakitty, but I find your innocence appealing, Little Bitch."

"Despite your best efforts to change my mind, " Rae grunts out, hissing with a heated blush on her face. "I will still continue to pray for my uncle. I may not believe, but I can for my uncle."

"Aw, wee lamb!" Laito grinned, tightening his grip on Rae's wrists. "You play the role of a good masakitty so convincingly, Little Bitch, but I think it's time for me to unveil the true lust that lurks deep inside you."

Rae was pressed against the surface of the table, unable to move due to Laito's otherworldly strength. She awkwardly tries to shift her body into a better position as her tail crunches together her spine.

"Don't you think it's disrespectful to do this in a church?" Rae asked.

Smirking, "Getting angry? That's okay. It only turns me on. You're rather cute when you're struggling. You will never be a match for me. I am inhuman. I can...and I will force you to submit! You will be at my mercy. You will let me explore all of the places you've been too embarrassed to show anyone before, and in the end, you will belong to me alone."

As Laito says this, he undoes Rae's shirt until the bust, her breasts popping from her shirt.

Now, this isn't what she had in mind! Rae tried to escape Laito's clutches. Being bitten and having her blood drunk, sure, sure! Even as a masochist, she didn't want to do whatever Laito had in mind.

"Get off of me, Laito, " She glared up at the male glowering down at her as if she were a piece of meat. "I mean it."

He just smirks twistedly. "Ah~ I don't think I can take it anymore! Just thinking of what I'm about to do to you is enough to make me~!"

The vampire tightened his hold on her wrists. Okay, maybe at first she thought this whole thing would be just fine, but now she regrets even coming out of her room.

"A-ah!" Rae groans feeling Laito drag his teeth on her exposed skin. "Pl-please don't do this!"

The vampire chuckled, his mouth vibrating, causing goosebumps to appear on the exposed flesh. "Well look at you trying to act so courageous! That doesn't bother me at all. As a matter of fact, I kinda like it. Now, let's see how much you can take in a single day." With that said, the vampire sinks his fangs into Rae's neck for a short minute and then retreating to breath in the musky church air. "That didn't hurt, did it? Aww, poor thing, okay then, " Laito continues on with sadistic road. "I think I will make it hurt even more~"

"What could possibly be worse?" Rae lost feeling in her hands now.

"You, Little Bitch, were offered up to us as a sacrifice by the very man you've chosen to put so much faith in."

Come again? Her uncle sent her away because there was no longer enough room for younger children at the church...or at least that's what the nuns had told her. Her uncle wouldn't do this, even if she has taken a shine from the thrill here. He loved her as his own, so why would he do this to her?

"You're lying, " Rae denied after some thought. "My uncle wouldn't do something so reckless."

Laito cackles out loudly. "Oh, I love it! How I adore that look of complete and utter despair on your face, Little Bitch, " He paused to let everything soak in before returning to the torture. "Now, let's get back to enjoying ourselves, shall we? Prepare yourself to follow me on the path to darkness~"

Rae moves limitedly, still attempting to get free of Laito's iron grasp. It was futile, but she truly did not want any part of what he was planning.

"No one has ever been saved by a belief, and no one ever will be."

AND THAT IS A WRAP.

Okay, so the end seems a bit rape-ish. I know, sorry. I hate it as much as you. But, what do you expect with Laito?

We all know Rae is a masochist, hell, I know it. She's my OC. She's down for any pain except the sexuals. That's why she's so against it. But not to worry, Laito didn't get very far before Ayato showed up. I didn't write it, but he did. Sort of a non-seen happy ending right? E-eh....anyway...hope you liked it.

Don't forget to drop that star! And comment on your thoughts!
