Represents : She represents the constant hunger for knowledge and innovation. In science terms , Rebenna is the frontal lobe of the brain. While the other personas are representations of emotions , she isn't , and is in charge of keeping them under control so that the brain is stable. Rebenna is what people would call the " indomitable human spirit "

Benefits : As the persona of innovation , she helps Author-Chan with problem solving and making difficult decisions involving education and business. She is a REALLY important persona. Out of the personas , she has the most primal and raw goal : to keep Author-Chan alive. Because of her near omnipresence , Author is always healthy.

Most visible : Compared to every other persona , she is the only one that has the most control over the brain. Not only is she vital , but she is what keeps everything stable. Because of this , she is given so much time to control Author-Chan. She can sometimes be seen with Gamer Maia or Michelle since knowledge and creativity go hand in hand.

Personality : When first approached , shes blunt , emotionless , and calculated. Once you get to know her , shes a lovable dork. Shes incredibly insecure about her poor social skills , so she considers anyone who is willing to hear her out a friend. Despite her somewhat passive attitude , she hides a LOT of malice behind her calm smile and things annoy her easily. It's just a side effect of her stress from work.

Likes : This little introvert enjoys staying inside her house , doing things like reading books or tending to her white rose garden. She also enjoys the art such as the Author theater or journaling. Shes taken a liking to :

Backstory :

PAST ARC – UNDER CONSTRUCTION

PRESENT ARC – When she came to , she was a shadowy figure Artemis made her wish to rewrite the future , all the personas were shadowy figures. She was as well , but had a more metallic look. When she was sent to Earth to look after young Author-Chan , she was originally human but overtime developed more of her robotic features. She can still switch to her full android form , but prefers to remain in her human-like state so that she doesn't have to be reminded of her traumatic past.

She is the only persona to retain her memories from Artemis sending her to Earth , but it only made her job harder since she couldn't explain to the others why they existed. It was hard to adjust to the 2000's-2010's since they're used to a futuristic world , but they've gotten the hang of it. She even found peace in the simple things Earth had to offer. Yet...she felt so empty. She shouldn't have to , she didn't have to fight and had freedom so...why did she feel so uneasy ?

Since she wasn't a soldier , she became a detective instead , and drowned herself in work. If if weren't for Demon Maia , she would never leave her desk. Sure , they had their arguments , but she valued her like a friend , and perhaps even more than that. Yet if that were the case...then why did she feel so frustrated ?

Every persona did what they had to for Author-Chan. They had a mutual respect. Yet...every time she had to make a choice , it was always discarded. Why ? Why did Demon get to have a say in whats best for Author ? Hell , why did ANYONE have a say ? They weren't the ones who had to make the tough decisions. She had to. After all , she alone regained her memories of 205X. She did. They...they're just obstacles , every single one of them.

But there was something else. There was something skulking in the darkness. She had a hunch that is was Villain Maia , but after the New Horizons incident , Villain laid dormant for a long while. Amy and Rebenna had a good working relationship so she knew it couldn't be her. Then...who , or better yet , what was it ?

She chose to ignore its presence and continue on with work. To let the situation handle itself. Things only escalated when Villain came to her one night to discuss the possibility of a hidden persona. Rebenna shot it down immediately and it ended in a heated argument.

If only she had set aside her pride and heard Villain out. Now Maia was in danger and she has to do everything in her power to keep the promise she made to Artemis and protect her from the evil inside her...though she wondered if she could hunt down this being and force it to confess it's true motives ?

Trivia :

— She knows English , German , Spanish , and is currently learning Japanese so that Author can achieve her dream of going to Japan. Unfortunately , this fact does not extend to Author-Chan herself. Author only knows English.

— In her original design , her irises were purple but when shes angry , stressed , scared or insane , her scleras turned black with her irises turning into Xs. With her new design , I kept her X eyes when shes in kill mode. As a automation , she usually fights using nonviolent methods....but she can also use fatal methods if deemed necessary = )

— Has a hyper fixation on Japanese mythology and the industrial revolution

— Gamer Maia got her into Murder Drones and ever since then , she has developed a hyperfixation with nightcore , and has a secret stash of emo clothing

— When she was first made , her system was developed to adapt to the customs of human society. However , her mind was in its infancy stages , so she heavily relied on the scientists to explain things to her. One such thing was the concept of nudity. She assumed that humans had skin and genitals , and thus they had to cover up. Because she had no such function , she saw no reason to wear clothes until the scientists scolded her into covering up. Demon Maia always laughs at Rebenna every time she brings up that embarrassing memory. Regardless of her current intelligence , sensual intimacy , or just intimacy in general , are still foreign to her.

— I'm still cringing inside from her first draft...so she was originally a Countryhuman oc that had a crush on Germany but because of her PSTD , she couldn't be around him without panicking. Countryhuman interpretations of history vary but for my oc , she was a islander during WW2 , and was captured by the Third Reich. She was forced to marry him , and become a german general before USSR freed her and helped her become her own country....God , I HATE this backstory. I'm so glad I changed it because she had Stockholm syndrome :')

— No one knows this , but she waits until nightfall and for the personas to fall asleep. When the cost is clear , she steals my pen , and sneaks out of the house to open a portal to Lumen. Shes been investigating LGR and the Ethereal Eclispe. Its been weighing down on her , but she refuses to tell anyone due to her secret distrust of the other personas. Rebenna knows that the evil corrupting Author-Chan is growing stronger , but she wants to keep everyone blissfully ignorant so that she can maintain some sense of control.
