slowly,
Morning came and the two of us were cosily laying together in our bed, her small legs tangled with mine.
"Morning, bub," she yawned, her voice croaky. She buried her face into my chest.
"Good morning, baby," I said, running my fingers through her silky, dark hair. She wriggled against me and scooted up, so her chin was leaning against my neck.
And then inhaled.
"Are you sniffing me?" I mused teasingly.
"You smell nice," she mumbled.
"What time is it?" I asked, yawning and pulling the sheets over us more.
She rolled to check her phone on the bedside table.
"Hah, almost 11:00," she chuckled, wrapping her arms around my torso and lazily closing her eyes.
"M'kay," I said, kissing her hair.
"Give it one more hour," she started, "and then we can get up."
"Can't get enough of the Yoongi scent can you?" I teased, snuggling against her.
"Shut up."
-----
When 12:00pm came, the two of us scurried out of bed and got ready for the day.
I headed downstairs, the kitchen radio was softly playing in the background. Holly barked and rubbed her head against my leg, making me pick her fluffy form up.
"Hewwo baby," I cooed, carrying the pup to the sofa and perching myself next to Yeona, who was watching TV and stuffing her face with cheeseballs.
We switched the channel, me occasionally nicking a cheeseball from her large packet.
At one point, she mock-scowled at me and whacked my arm.
"So what do you want to do today?" I asked her.
"Hmm...we could go out if you want," she suggested, flicking a strand of hair out of her eyes.
"I have an idea," I said, flashing her a grin.
"C'mon let's go," I said, grabbing her hand and dragging her off the settee.
I quickly grabbed my black mask, cap, phone and car keys, Yeona doing the same and we got into the car in our drive.
"What? Where're we going?"
"You'll see."
-----
"Yoongi seriously where are we going?" she asked, surveying our surroundings.
"Just wait."
"I look like crap."
I glanced at her in the passenger seat.
"You look adorable," I said, looking at her oversized hoodie and baggy jeans. She wore a white bucket hat and a cute pink mask to match her hoodie.
She huffed and looked down at her phone.
Finally, we pulled up outside the venue.
"We're here," I said.
She looked up from her phone and caught sight of the building.
She gasped, almond eyes widening and glittering with excitement.
When we got inside, I quickly paid for our tickets and we got to a bowling alley as soon as we could.
"You, Min Yoongi are totally getting destroyed tonight."
"We'll see about that, Park Yeona."
She grinned slyly, and we began our rounds.
-----
After five rounds, I knew I was losing. She was just too good. A waitress came around with drinks, the two of us sitting down to take a break for a bit.
"Yoongi what the heck was that?" she laughed, pushing my arm playfully.
"Shut up."
She giggled, making me remember how I had only knocked down four bowling pins on one round.
"It's okay, bub. You can't be good at everything," she said, raising her eyebrows and sipping her drink.
"Oh is that so?"
"Mhmm," she said with a smug smirk.
We got back onto the aisle and I was still losing against her.
But I had a plan.
On the tenth round, she stood in front of the alley, ready to toss the ball along the glossy wood.
When I whirled her around from her hips.
"What are you-"
I closed the gap between us, cutting her sentence off in the process. She melted into my arms, her grip on the bowling ball firm.
When I pulled away, she looked me in the eye with a playful glint in hers.
"Min Yoongi, you little cheat."
Not wanting any of this to end, when our bowling was over, we headed to the mini arcade games, playing until we were both panting from effort.
"I completely aced you on DanceRush," I bragged, sticking out my tongue.
She stuck out hers and we both moved onto the last arcade game before it started getting late.
Air hockey.
"You ready to get your ass beaten just like in high school?" she boasted.
"Hey! I only lost because the asshat behind you was checking you out."
"Excuses, excuses," she said, shaking her head.
It ended in a tie.
How unfair.
I pouted slightly, making her pull my cheeks.
"I love you, bub," she said with a giggle.
"I hate you."
She laughed and pulled me by the cuff of my sleeve to the car park.
-----
We decided on getting food from out and maybe taking a walk around just for the sake of getting air.
I held her palm in mine as we both ordered our food in the shop.
We quickly devoured our fried chicken and rice, then headed out for the risk of being recognised.
We walked for a long time, along the side of main roads until we ended up at a junction of a quiet-ish road. She swung her arms back and forth, swinging mine in the process. She leaned against the lamp post, the two of us looking up at the night sky.
I took off my mask, just to feel the air hit my face. I had to cover it for most of the day in case anyone saw me.
She took hers off too, revealing her cute, rouged lips.
"Baby?"
"Yeah?"
"I love you."
"I love you, too," she said.
I kissed her longingly, resting one arm against the lamp post and using the other to hold her waist. We pulled away for a moment, resting our foreheads against each other's.
I took her small palm in mine, and placed a gentle kiss on her knuckles, her wedding ring glinting under the hazy orange light. I lifted her in my arms for a hug and was about to place a soft kiss on her nose.
When our moment was cut short.
The flashing of cameras in our faces followed by buzzing questions and a steadily growing crowd was signal enough to get out of there.
As fast as we could.
