•*•*• KUROGIRI reluctantly gave chō the tickets. she had begged him to buy her and shigaraki two tickets to the carnival. to which kurogiri sighed and for some reason, agreed.

"okay dabi!! I see you!!", chō complimented as she saw dabi in a new outfit.

dabi looked like he wanted to commit toaster bath. he didn't know why he agreed to help the girl out and go shopping with her. perhaps it was a gut feeling, but he was currently trying on different outfits so that chō could buy one for shigaraki.

apparently his closet was too "depressing", like dabi's.

"are we done yet?", dabi asked, looking more dead than a dead fish.

"yep!!", chō said, making dabi go change out of it.

once chō had bought the outfit, she bought dabi some starbucks as thanks.

"why're you trying so hard for him?", he asked.

"mm...I don't know. it's just a feeling you know?", chō replied honestly.

dabi looked at said girl. he didn't understand her. why would someone waste so much time and money on someone else, who might not even reciprocate their feelings.

"you know dabi. not everything I do, I expect something in return", chō started.

dabi glanced at her with a brow raised.

"sometimes...you do things to live life to the fullest....before it ends", chō said smiling.

dabi just nodded, not exactly understanding what she meant.

"what is this bullshit?", shigaraki asked, as he was presented with bags of clothing.

"oh come on!! dabi and I went shopping together to get you this outfit from h&m!!", chō pouted.

shigaraki growled in annoyance. he didn't know whether he was more irritated that her and dabi went shopping together or that she was making him wear this ridiculous outfit.

regardless, shigaraki wore it anyways. he put on the red turtleneck, matching his red shoes, finally. he wore black track pants and a dark blue and black jacket. it had a detachable hoodie and a black hat was included in the outfit.

chō just wore a white t-shirt with black shorts and a belt. she had a choker on and black wedges on. she got herself some nice pink round sunglasses and tied her brown hair into a side braid.

"wow...", chō said, looking at the brand new shigaraki. "you'd definitely get more girls dressed like this", she said as a compliment, even though it came out a bit sour.

"I don't care about getting girls. I just want one", he grumbled.

"how do you think he looks, guys??", chō asked the members that were present.

"you did very well, ms. chō", kurogiri said.

"damn. crusty actually looks...normal", dabi said. that was the nicest thing that was ever gonna come out of his mouth, so chō took it.

"you did good, chō!!", magne said, giving her a thumbs up.

"you did a handful on him", compress chimed in.

"compress, did you just—"

"where are y'all going?", spinner asked.

"now that's for us to know and you all to find out", chō said grinning, giving them all a wink. "now kuro, open sesame!!"

kurogiri sighed and opened a warp gate. before shigaraki could say anything, he was pulled through, leaving the rest of the league in silence.

"a carnival?", shigaraki asked, his face twisting in disgust. he hated loud things that weren't leading to the destruction of everything.

he also, hated being near people.

"mhm! now come on and don't be such a party pooper!!", chō said as she slipped her hand in his. she had put new gloves on shigaraki that only covered his pinkies, without him even realizing. now, she could actually hold his hand without needing to worry about being disintegrated.

shigaraki would never admit it. but he liked the feeling. the warm feeling of someone's hand.

"let's get those koi fish!!", chō exclaimed as she pulled shigaraki along.

they arrived at a small stand where they each got a net. their objective was to get the fish with the net even though it easily breaks once it touches water.

"YEET!", chō shouted, catching two koi fish. shigaraki was stunned and almost laughed at the girl's weirdness.

"how'd you do it?", he asked. chō got real close to shigaraki. holding his hand, that was holding the net, she concentrated very hard. she then once again yote the fish out of the bucket, catching three in total.

"I practice...with emi", chō said as she grabbed the bag of fish happily.

shigaraki thought it was odd but then again, nothing was ever normal with this girl.

they ended up going on many rides. from the spinning teacups, to which shigaraki almost vomited, to the merry-go-around.

shigaraki protested about going on the twisting rollercoaster, but chō insisted that it'll be fun.

"you gotta live in the moment ya know?", she said as they were tightly strapped in the rollercoaster seats.

at first, it started slow, and shigaraki was fine with that. he never needed much excitement in his life. he took joy in planning all might's death and that itself, was fun enough for him.

but then the rollercoaster started dropping at a very fast pace. chō lifted her hands up, screaming. shigaraki followed suit, lifting his arms up as well. he didn't scream, but he felt the adrenaline pumping through him.

it was indeed, exhilarating.

once they got off, they stumbled a bit from the over stimulation of the ride. chō just started laughing like crazy as she saw a picture of them on the ride.

shigaraki just smiled. he was...feeling happy. it wasn't the type where he's happy because his cynical plan worked. he was happy because for once, he truly had fun. something he hadn't experienced in a long time.

"oh man!! look at the time", chō said as she took out her phone. she quickly grabbed shigaraki's hand and pulled him to their last ride.

like every cliché story, it was the ferris wheel.

chō sat down, encouraging him to sit next to her. they looked out the window. the sun was setting and it was perfect.

they didn't talk and simply enjoyed the silence. shigaraki wasn't exactly sure what he was feeling. but when chō had said his full first name, he suddenly understood.

"tomura", she said in a soft voice.

shigaraki looked at said girl. maybe it was just in the heat of the moment, but he felt a sudden urge to kiss her. so that's exactly what he did.

he was waiting to feel her push him away or even slap him. but that never came. only the soft lips of a girl who he knew he had strong feelings for.

the sun set, with shigaraki and chō blissfully sharing a kiss. once they broke apart, their foreheads were touching. shigaraki blushed while chō just smiled with no shame.

"I told you you looked good", chō softly said as she took a picture of him next to the sunset. she then took a surprise picture of her kissing shigaraki's cheek.

least to say, shigaraki's surprised face was an image to behold.

kurogiri gave a hearty laugh and smile once he received the picture.

"shigaraki tomura is growing up", he fake sobbed.
