The ringing of my cell phone wakes me from my horrific dream of Blair learning about Nate and me. Silently groaning, I reach to answer it, seeing Blair's name flash on the caller ID. Sloppily bringing the phone to my ear, I prepare for the harsh loud noise on my sensitive morning ears.
"Hey, B," I groan, my voice raspy.
Blair yells through the phone, "Where's your church?"
I furrow my eyebrows in confusion. I don't go to church so, I have no idea what she is talking about. Slowly bringing the phone to my mouth I enunciate "My church?"
"Yeah," I hear Blair's sass through the phone, "Aren't you royals super religious? I need redemption and this time a quick stop to Bendel's isn't going to remedy my problems. So where can I find a church worthy of my presence?"
I try not to roll my eyes at Blair's dramatics, "St. Patrick's Cathedral," I answer her previous question before thinking about what she said about redemption, "Blair what do you mean by redemption? Did anything go on last ni-"
I am interrupted by the two beeps signaling the call was disconnected.
I groan before dropping my head back on my silk pillow. Pulling the covers back over my shoulders, I try to go back to sleep.
Before I could return to my slumber however, I was disturbed by four hard knocks on my door.
"Leave me alone,' I moan, not bothering to open my eyes.
I hear the doorknob turn as I grumble in annoyance, sitting up on the bed. I move my hair out of my face and move to open my eyes so I can kick my intruder out of my bedroom, but before any of that can be done, I feel soft lips press against my own.
I begin to move away before I melt into the kiss, enjoying the feeling of warmth that spreads through my body. Bringing my hands to tangle themselves in their hair, I began to kiss back, matching his slow pace.
After a few minutes, I slowly move away, opening my eyes to look into the ocean blue eyes of the one and only Nate Archibald.
My entire body freezes up in fear as I watch the slow grin spread on his cocky face. Taking a big gulp, I try to move back on my bed as I began to freak over what I am going to tell Blair or rather not tell her.
"I needed that," Nate sighs, earning a look of disgust from me.
"You needed that," my face morphs into a look of horror at his insensitive comment, "I just betrayed my best friend because you needed that? Ugh. Are you ki-"
"My dad was charged with fraud and embezzlement last night, right after I broke up with Blair" Nate cut me off.
"Are you okay?" I begin before jumping up, "Blair? You guys broke up?"
