The final box was placed on the wooden ground. Gwen stood up, wiping the stray sweat from her head, and looked around her new apartment. It was smaller than her previous ones and homey. Except that instead of having a two-room apartment, it was a room-one-bathroom apartment. It wasn't much but perfect for one person.Β

Gwen stopped, walking over to her balcony and peeking out the window, spotting the moving van who is bringing her furniture back from her storage. She smiled, walking over to her front door and opening it for the workers who slowly started to bring things for her.Β

"Thank you," Gwen nodded as the men smiled and placed her couch and other furniture in the middle of the living room. Going through her pockets, she handed them their money and tips while saying goodbye. They were kind to ask if she needed help but she got it.Β

Gwen wasn't sure what was happening with her, but she felt...oddly optimistic about this. Not long after she and Fu moved out of the other apartment, Gwen tried to go to her old apartment but it was already booked so she had to find other places to stay and she decided to keep it small.Β

Lila offered her to stay at her place but Gwen refused, knowing how Gwen would have to do night patrols without the girl suspecting of her being a hero. Adrien already knows so she doesn't want anyone else to know either.Β

Even though Fu mentioned that to keep everyone safe, she must not reveal her identity. She can agree with that but she also knows that she needed someone to rely on. She sighed, faceplanting on her couch. Being instantly hit with dust made her choke and sit up immediately to cough.Β

"Nope," she coughed, shaking her head before walking over to one of her pantries and groaning, seeing how empty it was. She really doesn't want to go shopping.Β

Gwen stopped, hearing a knock on her door. She frowned, not expecting any guests to her apartment. Walking over to the door, she peeked through the peephole and grinned.Β

Opening the door, she smirked and leaned on the door frame to see Adrien in front of her. The boy was disguised with a cap and dark glasses along with a sweater.Β

"Well, well," Gwen smiled. "I thought I told you to come in a few days after I cleaned my house."

Adrien chuckled, rubbing his nape as Gwen invited him inside. He grinned seeing the small space. The walls were beige with wooden cupboards in the kitchen. There was a marble table for the dining room with the kitchen was filled with boxes labeled for Gwen. Looking back to the living room, he can see the wall filled with wires for Gwen's TV.

"So what do you think?" Gwen walked past him, moving the couch to the corner of the living room. "Not like my old bat cave but it's alright."

"I think it's nice," Adrien smiled.Β

Gwen chuckled, standing up. "Speaking of, I need to go grocery shopping for the house. Want to come with me? Unless you're busy with something."

Adrien shook his head and softly smiled at her, "I'm actually in the friendship day thing. Have you heard of it?" he asked.Β

Gwen blinked, "I think I've heard of it but I'm too busy with the move. Has it already started yet?"

Adrien chuckled and nodded. "Yeah, but it's fine. I think it's great that I have a few hours to spare while everyone in Paris is trying to solve the riddles. But I don't mind going with you...if that's alright?"

Gwen smirked, walking over to him and wrapping her arm with his. "Let's go."

With that, Gwen grabbed her wallet, skateboard, and keys before walking out of the apartment. As they stepped out of the building, Gwen noticed how her apartment was closer to the bakery, glad to know she could sleep in before coming over to work.Β

Adrien, on the other hand, was trying to get used to this new living arrangement for Gwen. he knew how minimalist she could be. Although, he thought that Gwen deserved to have a home with a stress-free environment. When she lived with Master Fu, she seemed like a normal teenager with an adult around her.Β

Now she's by herself.Β

But he can see how she changed. She seemed more...free. She seemed more relaxed too. Even though he was unable to know why she got worked up over something that Hawmoth had from her. He knew that she'd explain in her own time when she was ready and he'd be there every step of the way.Β

Adrien blinked, noticing her stopping. Looking around, he looked up to see they had already arrived at the store. Gwen huffed, shrugging her shoulders as they popped. "Let's get to work," she clenched her fists as she pulled out coupons for Adrien to see.

"Today is 75% off of every item," Gwen's eyes burned in determination as Adrien sweatdropped. "We shall get donuts in this store!" Gwen clenched her fists as her aura seemed to flare while Adrien took a step back in shock.Β

"Hurry before everyone takes it!" Gwen dashed for two carts and rushed back to Adrien. "It will be a warzone."

Adrien sweatdropped once again. He never thought to see such determination when it comes to shopping. In fact, it would be his first time shopping with Gwen...or shopping.

Gwen noticed and turned to him, "Don't tell me. Have you ever gone shopping for groceries before?"

Adrien nervously looked away, feeling her stare digging into the back of his head. He sighed defeatedly, "No...sorry."

Gwen hummed, closing her eyes in thought. "Alright. You're in charge of the list. I'll do the heavy lifting."

Adrien's eyes widened in disbelief and turned to her, "Is it hard?" he gulped.Β

Gwen's eyes narrowed on his frame, making him stiffen. She walked over to him with her eyes darkened and smacked a sheet of paper with pen to his chest. He flinched but looked down at her, noticing her piercing blue eyes staring at his greens.Β

"It's a battlefield. Once everyone knows how much of a discount everything is, people go into madness. You clearly haven't seen Black Friday in New York," Gwen paled at the moment when she had to punch her way through the old ladies to grab a single sock for her old man. Only for the old ladies to yank on her hair and scratch her face.

"It's a nightmare," she shivered, making Adrien pale. Just what has she gotten through?

Gwen shook it off grabbed him under his arms and lifted him off the ground easily before putting him on the kid seat. Adrien's eyes widened and blushed in embarrassment as Gwen successfully managed to shove him through.Β

"Thankfully," Gwen grinned, pushing the two carts inside the store and ignoring the stares from the shoppers. "It's not Black Friday. Or else I would have brought a bat," she laughed at her joke and turned to Adrien. "Now, what's first on the list?"Β

Adrien sighed, looking down at the list while adjusting to his seat. "3 gallons of bleach."

"With more oomph!" Gwen's eyes burned at him while making him point everywhere around the store while they ran around. Adrien couldn't help but laugh as Gwen used her speed to make sharp turns, snatch anything she needed, and place them in the cart before anyone else did.Β

Finishing up with one full cart, Gwen pointed to the empty cart. "Omen! Go to the next one!" she gripped her cart while Adrien basically dragged himself off the cart, seeing how small and difficult for him to get out of, and flopped over to the next. He didn't have time to shove his legs to the seat before Gwen started speeding with the cart, making him yelp and fall back on the cart.Β

"This is for food," Gwen smirked, dashing through the store and through the vegetable section before going through the meat. Adrien couldn't contain the laughs as the pain started to grow in his stomach for laughing so hard.Β

Gwen noticed and laughed too, going to get the rest of the groceries. Spotting her favorite cereal, she dashed over and reached for it when another hand reached for it too, making them both stop.Β

Gwen looked up, chuckling darkly to see Luka also reaching for the cereal with Juleka in the kids' seat too. "Luka Couffaine..." Gwen's eyes darkened. "I believe I reached for it first."

Adrien noticed the slight tension between them and frowned. Gwen is competitive and she fights hard. What is going to happen?Β

Luka smirked too, his eyes darkening. "I'm afraid you're mistaken, Gwendolyn Stacy. My eyes were on the box before you came along."

Juleka sighed, looking back to her brother and friend. Rose peeked out from the other aisle and grinned, running over to them. "Hey, guys! You heard of the discount too?" she loudly asked.Β

Luka and Gwen stiffened, snapping their heads at Rose in disbelief. She didn't...Adrien frowned, turning to Rose who blinked. "What's wrong?" Rose asked innocently.Β

"Shit..." Gwen and Luka murmured in horror, feeling the cereal boxes suddenly tremble. Turning around, they paled to see people rushing around the store and grabbing anything into their grasp.Β

Adrien's eyes widened in horror and reached over for Gwen. Gwen sweatdropped. "Crap," she murmured and snatched the last cereal, and waved at Luka and the girls. "Sorry, guys. You're on your own," she grinned guiltily and pushed both carts out of the aisle.Β

Luka caught on and grabbed Rose, gently placing her on the cart and pushing the girls to get the other objects before anyone could. Gwen cackled, running through the store while she avoided the people's hands to grab her things and made her way to the checkout. Adrien barely held on while holding onto Gwen's shoulders.Β

Adrien yelped as they stopped. Gwen started checking out the items and turned to him. "Hurry, get the stuff to the bags!" she exclaimed as Adrien immediately got off and ran to her other side and put the things in her bag as asked. He could feel his arms straining from moving around so much but he was thankful for being a hero, slowly getting used to this.Β

Getting done with one cart, they immediately started checking out the next cart, now holding up the line. Gwen noticed and screamed in determination as she started checking every single item at a pace Adrien never thought to see, barely seeing her hands becoming a blur. Adrien started having trouble putting everything in bags and placing them in the bags, making him grit his teeth.Β

"We got this!" Gwen exclaimed, now helping Adrien put the things in bags and shoving them in the carts. Adrien panted, seeing Gwen expertly do everything. Gwen looked around, spotting the candy section not far from her. She snapped her head to Adrien and pointed to the section.Β

"Grab two candies!" she ordered.Β

Adrien's eyes widened and ran over, seeing a short kid in front of it and looking at the candy. He impatiently waited while the kid kept looking. Adrien sighed and cursed, forgetting to ask Gwen what candy she wanted, and turned to go back but stopped as Gwen was still doing everything. He sweatdropped, noticing smoke coming out of her arms at the speed she was going.Β

Gwen gave him a mission. He must follow it.Β

He turned to the candy section and sighed, seeing the kid still looking at the candy. He gently smiled at him and reached for the chocolate when the kid grabbed her wrist sternly. He flinched, looking down at the kid and pale, seeing the beard on the kid's face and the scowl on his expression.Β

"Back off kid," the man scowled at him with his gruff voice. "I'm still deciding."

It's a man?!

"Sorry, sir. I just wanted to get the chocolate for my friend," he tried to snatch his wrist back but the man scowled even more at him.Β

"Are you calling me short?! You're no shorter than I am, shorty!" the man shouted, making Adrien's eyes widen and waving his hands defensively.Β

"I didn't say that! I'm sorry!" he tried.Β

"Omen!" Gwen shouted. "Hurry up!"

Adrien gritted his teeth and snatched whatever two candies they had and ran after Gwen. He could hear the man cursing at him behind him but kept running, throwing the candies to the check-up next to Gwen. She grinned and nodded at him. "Wise choices, Omen. Good job."

Adrien panted, already defeated by this whole thing. He wasn't even able to see the candies he got but he gasped, seeing the price of the groceries. Gwen noticed and smirked, pulling out her coupons. "What are you going to do with that?" he asked.Β

With that, Gwen started scanning the coupons and grinned in pleasure to see the price rapidly going down. Adrien's eyes widened and chuckled, seeing the final price. "I like coupons," he panted while silently purring while Gwen patted his back.Β

"You got that right," Gwen grinned as she pulled out her wallet and paid for the groceries. "Come on, let's go."

Adrien grinned and followed her exhaustingly. He can see why kids sit on the cart. He looked at Gwen and grinned, standing behind her and grabbing her hips.Β

Gwen stiffened and turned her head to look at him but squeaked as Adrien picked her up and placed her on the cart. Gwen's face flushed, not expecting the boy to actually be strong and carry her. She chuckled as she looked at the boy pushing both carts toward her apartment.Β

Because she had no car, they discreetly took the carts with them.

"Thanks, Omen," Gwen smiled, making the boy blush a little.Β

"Just as long as these hold for a few months," Adrien chuckled while Gwen shook her head.Β

"They can, but the apartment needs some cleaning so I have to prepare for the inevitable," Gwen sighed as she leaned her back and looked up at the moving blue sky.Β

Adrien noticed and lovingly smiled at her, "I'm glad we could hang out like this, Gwendy. It has been a while."

"It has, hasn't it?" Gwen chuckled, sitting back up and looking at the boy. "Tell me more about the friendship day thing. Does everyone seriously participate for what?"

Adrien hummed, "Well, people follow the riddles until you meet your new friend. With them, you follow the rest of the riddles to find the prize and win."

Gwen hummed too and smirked, "Let me guess... You're the prize."

"Yup," Adrien nodded. "I had a few minutes to spare and decided to see you."

She chuckled, "You regret it now, huh?"

Adrien shook his head, "I had fun. However, my arms are killing me. I don't know how you do it."

Gwen nodded, "After years of getting groceries for my old man who gets out of work late gets easier."

Adrien softly smiled, "You're incredible, Gwendy."

She chuckled and jumped off, helping him push one of the carts inside the building and into the elevator. Adrien grabbed the other one and followed after her. They both waved at the people staring at them strangely and got out of the elevator before walking over to her apartment.Β

Gwen sighed, "Home sweet home." She pushed the cart inside and flopped onto the couch. Adrien did the same thing and sighed before he started to choke and cough at the dust. Gwen groaned, leaning her head back on the couch.Β

She's too tired to clean.Β

Thump.

Gwen stiffened and sat up along with Adrien. They both frowned, walking over to the balcony and opening the doors, spotting an akumatized red robot running towards the park.Β

Gwen sighed, rubbing her nape. She's too tired for this. Closing the doors, she whistled as she walked over to the carts and grabbed the bleach and the other cleaning chemicals before starting to clean.Β

Adrien saw this and grabbed her shirt. "Gwen...don't ignore the akumatized victim. You have to go."

"...But Ladybug and Chatnoir can handle it without me. I still need to clean," she whined.Β

Adrien sighed, "I still have to go back to the friendship day thing. We have to go."

"I don't want to," Gwen slumped but Adrien wasn't having it as he still had to help Ladybug and grabbed Gwen's hand and dragged her out of the apartment.Β

Ghost arrives at the Jardin des TuileriesΒ when she encounters Ladybug already fighting with the large red robot.Β

"You'll never catch me! I'm Ikari Gozen. As elusive as the wind, as powerful as the flood, as swift as lightning!" the villain shouted, swinging her bokken where Ladybug wrapped her yo-yo earlier, and swung Ladybug away.Β

The heroine screamed as she flew through the sky and landed on Ghost's arms on a tree. Ladybug groaned, looking up as Ghost slowly lowered her to the ground, spotting Chatnoir land beside them.

"I see you've already made a new buddy for friendship day, Ladybug," Chat joked.Β

Ladybug chuckles, "Yeah, no, I don't think she likes me all that much." She leaned against the tree and peeked, spotting Ikari Gozen walking towards them. "We're coming, Kagami," she murmured.Β

Ghost's and Chatnoir's eyes widened. "Kagami?"

Ladybug nodded, turning to them. "Our new friend here has imprisoned her own daughter as a punishment. Lucky Charm!" She raised her hands as she caught a cinema ticket in her hands.Β

Chat saw, "You really think it's time for to us to the cinema?"

Ladybug grinned, "Sorry, guys. Only got one ticket, I'll come back soon."

Ghost noticed the ticket and chuckled, hearing that Gramps was working at the theatres. Going through her pockets, she pulled out a note and handed it to her. "Make sure to give this to him."

Ladybug blinked, "Who?"

Ghost smirked behind her mask, "You'll see. We'll hold her off. Go."

"At least bring us some popcorn!" Chat grinned as Ladybug jumped away.

Marinette ran, not wasting any more time while the others held back on Ikari Gozen. She wasn't sure why the lucky charm guided her to the cinemas but she'll find the solution.Β

Entering the theatres, she saw the employee crouched behind the desk while putting everything away.Β

Grabbing the ticket, she placed it on the desk. "Hello, I'd like to see this movie, please."

"Excellent choice, Marinette," Fu stood up straight from behind the counter, making Marinette's eyes widen in shock.Β

"Master Fu?!" she gasped.Β

"I had to find a cover now that Hawkmoth knows my identity. Besides, I love the movies thanks to my granddaughter," he chuckled as he grabbed the miracle box and placed it on the counter, making sure no one was around and opened it for her to see. "Marinette Dupain-Cheng, pick an ally you can trust right alongside you on this mission. Choose wisely. Such powers are meant to serve the greater good."

Marinette hummed, looking at the jewels inside. "As elusive as the wind, as powerful as the flood, as swift as lightning," she stopped, spotting the jewel. "Yeah!" she picked up the necklace, "I hope you enjoy the show, master."

Marinette went through her pockets and handed him Ghost's note. Fu blinked, "What's this?"

"It's from Ghost. She said to give this to you," she waved and ran off. Fu looked down at the note and opened it, seeing how it wasn't a note but a picture.Β

He chuckled and folded it before pocketing it in his shirt pocket before going on his day.Β

Ghost and Chat were currently at the Place de la ConcordeΒ while fighting Ikari Gozen. Ghost wasn't sure why Ladybug was taking her time but only punched the bus away before it hit them. They jumped away as Ikari Gozen swung her bokken at them but they dodged.Β

They hid and looked at alternatives. That was until Ladybug finally arrived, looking at the villain. "The akuma's probably hiding inside her bokken."

"In order to use my power, we gotta bring her guard down, first," Chat informed.Β

"We just need to be as elusive as the wind, or as powerful as the flood," Ladybug summoned her Lucky Charm, dropping a box filled with bath bombs.Β

"You really think it's time to take a bath?" Chat blinked.Β

Ladybug smirked, "Not me. Kagami and Ghost are going to use it. Get ready, guys."

Ladybug handed Ghost the box, "You need to be captured for this and help Kagami over this," she gestured for the necklace miraculous. Ghost's eyes widened and nodded, placed the necklace inside the box, and started walking out.Β

Chat looked at her worryingly but just waited.Β

"Hi, I'm Ghosty and I'm your friend to the end." Ghost called out, making Ladybug and Chat sweatdrop. "Hidey ho! Ha ha ha!" she ran towards the villain.Β

"I don't need a friend," Ikari Gozen gripped her bokken and swung it at Ghost but she dodged it, jumping high into the villain's mouth. The villain screamed, making it easier for Ghost to slide through her throat and into the villain.Β

Landing beside Kagami, Ghost felt the seatbelt automatically wrap her to her seat.Β

"Ghost-Spider," Kagami gasped, seeing her here.Β

"We don't have time. Here," she placed the box onto the girl's lap. Kagami frowned, opening it to find a few bath bombs inside. But something caught her eye. A strange box with red carvings on it.Β

Grabbing it, she opened it and gasped as the light started to circle around her before stopping in front of her. A small red dragon appeared in front of her and bowed.Β

"Greetings, young ladies," Longg nodded to Ghost before turning to Kagami. "And good day to you. Fear not, I am Longg, the dragon kwami."

"You're a what?" Kagami's eyes widened in disbelief.Β

"A kwa-mi," Longg explained. "Allow me to tell you about the many feats that a magic being like myself will help you accomplish once the magic has been spoken."

Kagami grinned, putting on the miraculous around her neck.Β

"Ladybug hopes that you will defeat Ikari Gozen with panache, using the element of your choosing. Wind, water, or lightning. But firstly, let me tell you about her plan."

However, before Longg could even explain, Kagami clenched her fists in determination. "Longg, bring the storm!" she exclaimed as the poor kwami's eyes widened as it flew into the necklace as the girl transformed.Β

Ghost's eyes widened and grabbed Kagami's wrist before she could even activate one of the elements. "Wait, Kagami. Listen to me."

Kagami stopped, turning to her. "I have to go. I promise I'll get you out of here too."

But Ghost shook her head, "Kagami, listen. If you go out there, Hawkmoth will know that you have one of the miraculous. If he knows, he'll most likely go after your mother and everyone you love to get to you."

Kagami shook her head, "This is a personal matter between a mother and a daughter."

Ghost still kept a firm hold on her wrist. "Kagami," she sterned, making the girl stop. "I understand that you're worried about your mother. But there is a method to help her but it involves you staying here. If you go out there, it would be no use. Hawkmoth will know who you are and I won't be able to stop it. You don't know this but someone close to me used one of the miraculous and Hawkmoth knows who they are and used their family to fight us."

Kagami frowned, turning to her. "Does everyone know who they are?"

Ghost shook her head, "I managed to erase everyone's memory of their identity but it didn't take effect on Hawkmoth or Mayura."

"Couldn't you do it for me, too?" Kagami curiously asked the girl. She didn't know Ghost-Spider was capable of doing such a thing.Β

Ghost sighed, looking down at her own body. She was able to suppress the stones for a while but it can still be fragile to hold on to. Especially when she has sworn to Gertrude that she wouldn't use the stones again. But Ghost knew that it would become inevitable when she used them against Hawkmoth and Mayura.Β

"Last time I did, I had multiple seizures and was in a small coma," Ghost informed, making Kagami's eyes widen in disbelief. "It is dangerous to do it and I can't do it again until I face Hawkmoth and Mayura to finish what I started. If you get discovered too, I will have no choice but to do the same thing."

Kagami frowned, looking down at her hands. She sighed, knowing to trust the hero. If Ghost-Spider got injured in the process of protecting someone close to her, Kagami knew not to be a burden to Ghost or the rest of the heroes. Even though she wishes to help fight her mother, she knows it is not the time.

Kagami nodded, "Tell me what to do."

Ghost nodded, "I need you to use your water element to the bath bombs. After that, your mother will have no choice but to drop her bokken in pain. And that's when my partners will finish the fight." Ghost raised a hand.

Kagami smiled, grabbing her hand in affirmation. "Call me Ryuko."

"Let's do this, Ryuko," Ghost grinned as Ryuko took a step back. "Water dragon!" she exclaimed as her body completely turned into water and started to overflow inside her mother's body.Β

Ghost tapped her mask, making her able to breathe underwater as the villain started to shake.Β

πŸ•ΈπŸ•·πŸ•Έ

Ladybug and Chat jumped away as Ikari Gozen swung her bokken at them. They waited patiently, hoping their plan to come into motion. Ikari Gozen gritted her teeth, turning to face them. However, she felt this bloating pain in her stomach. That was until she noticed the water slowly leaking out of her body.Β

Ikari Gozen groaned, feeling weak as water spilled from her wrists too, causing her to drop her bokken. Chatnoir noticed and used his cataclysm before running over to touch it. Ikari Gozen groaned and crouched on the ground, not holding it any longer, she spat out Ghost before dropping to the ground in pain.Β

Chat grinned, rushing over to Ghost. "Welcome back, friend," he grinned.Β

Ghost chuckled, waving her hand. "Let's do this."

Chat nodded and swiped his claw at the bokken, causing it to disintegrate. Ghost stood up and slammed her fists on it, breaking it apart. Ladybug grinned, running over to her. "You did it!"

Not far from them, Kagami slowly started to take shape with the water and hid from her mother. Ladybug smiled, noticing her, and turned to the akuma. Grabbing her yo-yo, she captured it before purifying it. Ghost handed her the box which Ladybug nodded to her in thanks and threw it in the air, bringing everything back to normal.Β

Ikari Gozen turns back to Tomoe Tsurugi.

The woman stepped out of her red car and worriedly stayed firm. "What's happened to me? Where is Kagami?" she asked.Β

Ryuko smiled, running over to her mother, and gently grabbed her arm in assurance. "Your daughter is nearby, ma'am. She'll be here soon."

Ryuko turned to the heroes, blinking as the three held up their fists to fist bump and waited for her. She grinned, running over and punched their fists in victory. "Pound it!"Β

Chat waved and jumped away. Ladybug and Ghost turned to Kagami and the three jumped to one of the farthest alleyways in order to retrieve the miraculous. Landing on the ground, Ryuko stood straight. "Longg, open sky!" she transformed.Β

Ladybug smiled as Kagami handed her the miraculous. "Thank you so much for helping us. Who knows? Maybe you'll fight alongside us again."

Kagami smiled, "I would be honored to fight alongside you. I'm not good enough now, but I'll keep trying." She stopped as Ghost placed a hand on her shoulder.Β

"You're the opposite," Ghost smiled. "You're strong and capable of fighting for those you care about."

Ladybug nodded, "You learned fast. Keeping your identity a secret is a very important rule among heroes. Without it, you and everyone you love will become endangered. Your family...your friends."

Kagami sadly frowned, "I don't have many friends."

Ghost's eyes softened while Ladybug still felt guilty about what happened earlier as she had been trying to sabotage the friendship day competition with the girl while also telling Alya how bad it was to be with her.Β

Ladybug smiled at the girl. "It's not important to have lots of friends. What matters is that the ones you have are trueΒ friends. Bug out!" she waved and jumped away.Β

Kagami smiled, turning to Ghost. "Thank you for making me realize how important to not lose control of my emotions. I also want to thank you for protecting everyone in Paris."

Ghost's eyes widened, not expecting someone like Kagami to thank herΒ for something minimal. Ghost softly smiled and patted the girl's shoulders. "And I thank you for thanking me. Loosen up, who knows? Maybe you'll get more friends than you know it."

Kagami softly chuckled and nodded to her before walking away. Ghost watched her go. Ghost truly judged the girl too. After the girl and Ghost talked back in the ice rink, Ghost believed her to be someone who only gets in people's skin to make them back off.Β

She encountered it multiple times.Β

Ghost will have to get used to the girl. Only time will tell. She jumped high on the roof and swung towards her apartment, stopping to see Kagami standing in front of Marinette. She saw them smiling at each other before walking away together.Β

Ghost chuckled, swinging towards her apartment.

Gwen sighed, wiping away the sweat as after the long hours of cleaning, she was finally done. Looking out the window, she sighed in glee as she now had to put everything away. She's almost tempted to just sleep on the couch, now thankful that she cleaned her couch.Β

She stopped, hearing her door being knocked. Lazily sitting up, she walked over to the door and opened it, revealing Adrien panting in front of her door. Gwen chuckled, letting the boy in. Adrien smiled, looking around the apartment, noticing how clean it was.Β

"You abandoned me," Gwen shook her head. "How mean of you," she chuckled.Β

Adrien chuckled, sitting over on the couch. "Sorry about that. Alya ended up winning and we had to get ice cream afterwards. But I'm here to at least help move anything."

Gwen smiled, happy to see Adrien still willing to help. "I just need to move my gadgets and adjust them in my closet. I'll move the rest tomorrow."

Adrien beamed, "I always wanted to see your gadgets."

Gwen shook her head, "Wait, here." She tossed him something, making him easily catch it and look at it. He stopped, noticing a blue ring pop candy. Looking back up at Gwen, he saw a green ring pop on her finger. They both smiled and walked to her room to put everything in her closet.Β

"You know," Adrien mused, looking down at his blue ring pop. "This friendship day has been great for us, huh? You're the best friend anyone could ask for."

Gwen smiled, turning to Adrien. "You're also the best friend anyone could ask for. Thank you for always being there for me."

Adrien grinned, gently grabbing her hand and rubbing her knuckles with his thumb. "Always."
