Lila was oblivious to many things but she's not stupid. Sure, she doesn't know how her mother would be most of the time and can be unpredictable with her schedule but she doesn't bother getting to know it, she may have a hard time doing homework, but she has people around her who would be quick to help her.

So when it comes to Gwen Stacy, her best friend, she is not sure what to think. She knew Gwen had her secrets as she did that they refused to share. Boundaries are in session. But...

"Um..." Lila frowned, lying on her bed in her room. It was midnight but the elephant in the room was visible to take notice. "As much as I love having you around, it was kind of unexpected. Don't you have to work tomorrow?"

Only silence followed, making Lila sigh and move to the edge of the bed to look down at her best friend lying on the ground. Hey, she didn't put her there. Gwen just entered her house and flopped to the ground at the end of her shift and stayed there, unmoving.

Lila would have moved her like a good friend, but she just did her nails and one little scratch will fuck it up.

"Are you alive?" Lila looked at Gwen's back, seeing the girl still facing down, her face meeting the ground. "I thought you were supposed to be hanging out with Adrien..." Lila glanced at the clock, seeing it at 1:13 a.m. before looking back down at the ground. "Yesterday."

"...I couldn't."

Lila hummed, leaning her chin on her palm. "So she breathes. What happened? If that boy left you hanging, I will be having a serious talkโ€“"

"No. He came early," Gwen's voice muffled underneath her hair that covered the sides of her face.

"Then, what's wrong?" Lila frowned, thinking of the possibility that that boy could have done wrong. "...Did he not bring you flowers?" she asked jokingly, knowing the pair refused to become a couple.

"No."

Lila followed along with the little guessing game, "He brought a friend to the hangout."

"No."

"I give up," Lila yawned, flopping back to bed. She'll ask her later, she's too tired for this. Her eyes drooped close and she could feel her spirit leaving her body into dreamland when Gwen broke the silence.

"...he kissed me."

Gwen yowled in pain as Lila's body dropped on top of her. She felt the girl's elbows dig into her back and her knees digging into her ankles. "What is wrong with you?!" Gwen turned her head but coughed in shock as Lila's strength was enough to turn her body facing the ceiling with the girl towering over her.

"ARE YOU KIDDING ME?!" Lila grabbed her collar, shaking her. "WHEN WAS THIS?!"

Gwen frowned, letting the girl shake her and rattle her brain. "Three hours before my shift endedโ€“OW! Stop that!" Gwen started slapping her hands away from her face.

"THAT WAS SEVEN HOURS AGO!" Lila shouted at her, not caring about waking the neighbors. Her mother was pulling a night shift so she didn't care. "YOU'VE BEEN HERE FOR FOUR HOURS AND YOU'RE NOW TELLING ME THIS?! HOW DID THIS HAPPEN?! TELL ME!!"

"Lila!" Gwen grabbed her hands and sat up, dropping the girl to the ground in front of her. "Calm down."

"Why aren't you freaking out over this?!" Lila looked at her bewildered, rushing to her feet to turn on the lights and turning back to her. "You're supposed to be happy! Why am I just hearing this now?"

"Because I don't know what to think," Gwen threw her hands up in the air in disbelief.

"What the hell are you talking about?" Lila frowned at her before her eye twitched, "Did he force on you? I swearโ€“!"

"He didn't," Gwen interrupted her, assuring her before she did something stupid again. "I mean...I don't know."

"What do you mean you don't know?!" Lila dropped to the ground in front of her. "What happened?"

Gwen shook her head, "I was working when he barged into my work and kissed me before sleeping."

Lila blinked multiple times. "Say what?"

"That's what happened," Gwen explained. "He was sweating, and out of breath when he just waltzed into the building and kissed me."

Lila frowned more, "So...he kissed you. Out of desperation...and what did you do? Did you kiss him back?"

"I-I don't remember," Gwen frowned, running a hand on her unruly blonde hair.

Lila deadpanned, this girl is killing her. "Gwen...what do you mean you don't remember? Why aren't you excited for this? I thought you would be happy about this. Why aren't you giddy about this?"

Gwen frowned, so many clouded thoughts flooding her mind. "I don't know."

Lila sighed, "I swear if you say you don't know I'm going toโ€“"

"Lila, give me a moment. I'm still trying to process this," Gwen rubbed her eyes.

That was when Lila started to see the stress in the girl. Is this kiss really that terrible? Damn, was Adrien's lips not nice? Why is she like this? Why does she seem confused?

"..." Lila frowned worriedly, unsure of how to bring up the sudden topic. "...Gwen...is it about Peterโ€“?"

"What?" Gwen blinked, shaking her head as she stood up. "No. It's not that."

Lila also stood up, scared to say something that would upset the girl more. "Then what is it? What's wrong?"

Gwen frowned more, walking over to the window where the city of Paris slept. A lingering weight on her chest was confusing her. She should be happy, I mean, she liked Adrien and it seemed like he liked her back.

Keyword: seemed.

"When he kissed me," Gwen started as Lila sat back on the bed, giving her full attention on her. "It looked like he meant to kiss someone else."

Lila blinked, now confused about what she meant. "What do you mean?"

"I don't know how to explain," Gwen continued. "When he stepped into the bakery...he was terrified. He was trembling..."

"Maybe he finally had the guts to kiss you?" Lila crossed her legs, processing her words.

"In the middle of my shift?" Gwen turned to her confused. "Lila, you should have seen him. He was on the verge of breaking down and hugged me like he was scared of something. He was pouring in sweat and out of breath."

"Woah," Lila frowned, raising a hand to stop her. "He was sweating? Mr. Perfect sweating? Do you think something must have happened?"

"I don't know. Before I could even ask why he kissed me, Marinette walked inโ€“"

"WOAH!" Lila jumped out, now a grin on her face. "And what happened? A catfight? Nah, a street fight? Did you win?"

"There was no fight," Gwen looked at her unimpressed at her pout. "She looked upset and just ran to her apartment. She didn't give me time to explain when Adrien slept in my arms."

Lila grimaced, "So what? What happened after that?"

Gwen sighed, sitting on the bed and placing her hands on her face. "I took him back to his house but I couldn't focus anymore. Something must have happened and I'm not sure how I feel to be the collateral of it all. It doesn't feel right."

Not only that, she could have sworn she saw a vision.

Lila frowned, unsure of what to make of this. "Do you think Marinette had something to do with it?"

"I dontโ€“" Gwen stopped when Lila glared at her. Gwen sighed, standing up. "I better head home."

"Wait what?" Lila blinked, looking at her in disbelief. "You drop this on me and you want to leave?"

"I just need to think," Gwen twisted the knob. "I'll see you around, yeah?"

Lila groaned as Gwen stepped out, leaving the girl to flop to bed.ย

Gwen cursed the next day. Why does the sky have to be so blue? Why is the stupid Sun so bright? Why are the people so...bleh?

She couldn't sleep at all from the previous day, so overall, everything and everyone pissed her off. She could think of millions of reasons but the main one that itches her mind and skin was of a certain boy with a sneak attack.

She doesn't know what to think. After what happened, she half-expected to receive a call or a text from him later on but after an hour on her day off became an hour and a minute, doubts started to cloud her mind and not in a good way.

Was it a mistake? Did he really mean to kiss someone else? Why isn't he calling her? Did her breath stank that day? She did eat a slice of pizza with extra garlic. Why isn't he calling her? Is he upset that she didn't kiss him back? Why isn't he calling her? Did she do something wrong?

WHY THE HELL ISN'T HE CALLING HER?!

Ding!

Gwen shrieked, throwing her phone aggressively against the wall, shattering at the impact. "Fuck..." she jumped off of the bed and crawled onto the floor, seeing her phone into pieces. "Crap, no, no, no, no, no...shit!" she cursed, seeing her phone beyond repair.

Gwen threw her head back groaning in disbelief. "I really hate this."

"You received one new message," J.A.N.E.T. spoke up.

Gwen sighed, picking up her phone. Damn, and it was from her universe too. Looking through the pieces, she started picking off to grab her memory card where her pictures resided. "Who is it?" Gwen placed the card on her desk as she started picking up the rest of the pieces.

"From Omen, it's a voice message. Would you like me to play?"

Gwen stiffened, facepalming. Even if she does hear it, what is she supposed to say? It's not supposed to be a big deal! He kissed her, she didn't kiss him back, no big deal!

"Gwen..." Gwen stopped as she listened to the voice recording. The poor boy sounded so tired. "Hey, I wanted to talk to you. It's important for me. Today's not a good day, though. I uh..."

Gwen sat still on the ground, looking at the smallest pieces of glass on the ground, waiting to hear more.

"My mom...it's today. Her anniversary and...when you get the chance, let me know, please. I...need you. Bye."

Gwen lowly sighed, placing a hand on her face. She completely forgot what day it was. Her chest ached at the realization of the boy's predicament. He must have been upset about what was going to happen the next day that he went to her. He must have panicked and accidentally kissed her or something.

Her mind is in jumbles, she can't comprehend what is really trying to flood her mind.

"Damn, okay," Gwen grabbed her skateboard, stepping out of her apartment. Nothing like a ride through the streets at full speed will take her mind off things.

In his lair, it was slightly cold from the lack of sunlight. At the bottom floor, lay a woman in a glass casket. She was extraordinarily beautiful and looked like she was sleeping. In front of her casket, stood the one and only Gabriel Agreste.

His expression was stoic and cold but his heart yearned for his wife's warmth. His hands fiddled mindlessly with the silver rings. He dreaded the thought of the day it was. For it was the day his wife temporarily closed her eyes for a prolonged amount of time.

"Ladybug and Chatnoir's miraculous will soon be mine, and Ghost-Spider's stones will be ours, I promise. Then I will get the ultimate power and we shall all be together again..." Gabriel gently grabbed one of her hands, inserting her ring on her finger before softly placing it where it was.

"You and I," he silently promised as he wore his ring.

๐Ÿ•ธ๐Ÿ•ท๐Ÿ•ธ

Adrien had no idea what to think anymore. One moment, he was with Gwen, the next, he found himself waking up on his bed. He assumed that he must have fallen asleep while being with Gwen and the girl had to bring him back to his house. He grew worried, did she...not like it?

He did remember that the first time they kissed it was "okay". Her words, not his (Horrificator). Was he that bad?

But at the moment, he can't dwell on that. As today is a beautiful peaceful day. It was warm and filled with blue skies. It felt like forever since he saw it after the day previous. He enjoyed it, sitting outside and taking in his mother's statue.

A year.

A full year since he last saw her and it felt like yesterday when they went to get ice cream and walk around Paris. He could hardly remember how she sounded like or felt like when she hugs him. But he knew his father was working really hard to find her so he had faith.

Hell, maybe he can ask Gwen to find her. She's a great detective, but knowing her, she will probably risk herself against to get kidnapped on purpose. Adrien chuckled at the thought.

Glancing back at the building, he spotted his father, stoic as ever, standing beside a smiling Nathalie. He couldn't help but smile at them. He has been noticing how close they have been getting. If Nathalie makes him at least, just the slightest, happy, then he is happy too. Nathalie's nice and he liked her. He waved Nathalie back, looking back to his mother's statue.

Inside the building, Nathalie has always been encouraging towards Gabriel and Adrien through their hard times. She's not perfect but she is well. Seeing Adrien outside by himself, she knew he was fine but oblivious to his father's struggles to keep fighting.

"It's been a year," Nathalie spoke up, seeing the boy wave back. "The longer you keep him in the dark about what you're doing, the harder it will be on him when he finds out."

Gabriel only closed his eyes in thought, walking away from her. Looking back at the window, she saw Gabriel finally step outside.

Gabriel was glad for the floor to be free of plants and polished. He could always feel his son's stare filled with confusion but also a relief to see him and it hurt the thought that Adrien must be feeling this way but it was for his own good. Gabriel was doing everything in his power for Adrien, for the both of them. If it keeps a long distance between them, then that's what it'll be.

"Adrien," Gabriel spoke up, walking towards him.

Adrien blinked, turning to him. "Father?"

Gabriel stood beside him, looking back at the statue where his beloved wife smiled. Taking a safer approach, he sat on his knees next to the boy.

"There is something important I have to talk to you about," Gabriel started, thankful that the boy waited until he was finished. "I think about telling you every day, but I don't know how to find the right words."

Adrien smiled at him, "I think I already know, Father."

Gabriel blinked, turning to him in disbelief. "But, how?"

But Adrien only kept smiling knowingly at him. "I've noticed how close you and Nathalie have become. If she can make you happy again, then...as far as I'm concerned, she's already part of our family."

As if ice water dropped on the man, he flinched to his feet. His eyes widened in anger and disgust at the thought. All this time he's been fighting for his son is for his mother! Why would he bother to be in a sort of relationship with anyone else, much less his assistant?!

"How could you possibly think such a thing?! Nobody can replace your mother, as long as she is still in our hearts, she lives on!" he says but composes himself. "We're expecting guests. Be ready," he storms off.

Adrien only frowns as his father storms inside the building. He just can't seem to do anything right anymore.

"Wow," Plagg peaked through his coat. "Your father's like a piece of tomme cheese, where the rind's so thick it's almost impossible to get inside the center."

Adrien shook his head, "Don't be so hard on him, Plagg. It's been a year since Mom..." his eyes softened at the statue in front of him. "...went away forever."

Gwen sighed, riding through the streets with her headphones on. Without her phone to connect to and feeling petty to not use J.A.N.E.T. she resolved to use an MP3 player tucked in her pocket.

As soon as she arrived home, she completely forgot that she had an intruder earlier and started looking through her data. Only to see most of her inventions and suits she's been coming up with were completely erased. She demanded J.A.N.E.T. who was in her apartment but the computer wouldn't say. She refused to say and it pissed her off.

Who has access to J.A.N.E.T. other than her? She would know, but who? Thankfully, she saved a copy in another flash drive and dumped the watch she had been making since it was completely useless.

So, after an hour of riding through the streets, she thought of starting to understand other languages and started listening to their songs as it could be easier for her to learn.

She spotted Luka's houseboat and thought for a moment. She couldn't talk to Lila about what happened much without giving vague ideas. Perhaps a different perspective can help her with what she's thinking. She would go to Gramps, but he would be busy with a client or taking his three-hour non-interrupted meditation.

Sighing loudly, Gwen jumped onto the ramp and rode down towards the houseboat. Hearing soft murmuring tunes, she knew Luka would be enjoying his day playing outside. But more colorful heads started to appear in her vision and stiffened as she saw most of her classmates on the houseboat.

Shit.

Thinking it was not the best time, she rode faster to pass the boat but Alya's eyes were always so keen and called out to her.

She could have ignored her calls and pretended she didn't hear her but more calls from her classmates behind her made her stop. Turning back, she saw their wide grins and waving arms. Dropping her headphones around her neck, she slowly rode towards them.

"Hey, guys. What's up?" Gwen smiled, stiffening as she saw Marinette in the crowd.

"We're just hanging out," Kim grinned, "I thought you worked today?"

Gwen chuckled, "It's my Saturday, I thought a nice ride to the sunset would help my boredom."

Rose giggled, ran down the plank, and grabbed her arm. "Stay with us. It's been a while since you hung out with us, right guys?"

Everyone nodded, murmuring agreement with each other. But Gwen couldn't help but instantly notice how quiet Marinette was and felt like she was intruding.

"Actually, I was on my way to get a new phoneโ€“"

"You broke your phone?"

Gwen flinched, swearing she heard Lila somewhere but didn't see her. Alya noticed her confusion and turned to her tablet where she had multiple Facetime with Alix, Nathaniel, Marc, Mylรฉne, Ivan, Kagami, Chloรฉ, and even Lila.

Lila gave her a pointed concerned look, "You broke your phone. No wonder you didn't receive my invitation. Poor girl's has been working nonstop."ย

Gwen chuckled nervously, "Yeah, I dropped my phone earlier. but I'm planning to get a new one later. What are you guys up to?"ย

Alya smiled at the girl, pointing to Marinette. "Marinette had us gathered here for a plan. Go ahead, Marinette, you were saying something?"

"Um..." Marinette started, looking back at Gwen. She took a deep breath and got to the point, going back to pacing. She had everyone here for a specific reason and for a reason only. For Adrien.

She couldn't help it earlier. She loves Gwen like a sister and she was happy to see that they are still friends but it pains her how close she and Adrien are. She knows she has no right to tell the girl to back off when she hardly does anything to be closer to Adrien because of her anxiety. But it still hurts, seeing her friend getting closer and closer to the boy she is in love with.

After the whole fight with Phantom-Spider, she couldn't think straight. She lost Adrien in that universe and he came back alive...only to look for Gwen. It hurt so much. Why can't she find someone who will love her and worry for her like Adrien is to Gwen?

Then Chatnoir left in a hurry, leaving her with Bunnyx. She was emotionally tired when she encountered Adrien hugging Gwen so tightly in her parents' bakery. In her own home. She could see the confusion and terror in Gwen's eyes but it broke her. She couldn't face her at that moment before bawling in front of Adrien and she didn't need that, instead, she cried in her room, mourning for her loss of Adrien in another world and in this one.

Marinette knew she couldn't win his heart and it broke her every time. But through every sob and scream, she still can't bring herself to hate Gwen. She's only disappointed in herself for not trying hard enough. And this is not enough, just a little something she and the others can do for the boy on this specific day.

He deserves to have people on his side even through school or away from his house. It's not much but enough to make him feel that he's not alone.

"Okay," Marinette sighed, feeling pumped on what they should do. "We can't leave Adrien alone on a day like this," she started.

Alix nodded through the video call, "True that, but there's no way his old man's gonna let us see him."

Marinette nodded, knowing the man's strict rules. "Okay, why don't we make him a video and tell him how much we all care about him?"

Alya grinned, exiting the video call and putting on the camera, knowing that the videocall was still there. "Great idea, we can take turns recording our messages."

Nino smiled at her, "Then send it to him."

Everyone grinned, enthusiastically agreeing. Gwen sat beside Luka, who only smiled at her. Alya held up the tablet, pointing at Marinette. "Okay, go Marinette!"

Marinette paled, flinching at the camera. "Ah! Yee! No, no, someone else go," she nervously giggled. "I still need to go figure out what I'm going to say."

Alya smiled knowingly at the girl and instead turned to her boyfriend. "Okay, girl. So Nino, ready?"

The boy adjusted his red cap and nodded as she started recording him. "Hey, my dude!"

๐Ÿ•ธ๐Ÿ•ท๐Ÿ•ธ

The lock screen remained vibrant as ever, holding a picture of a beautiful moment he will forever cherish. They were completely similar from the root of their blonde hair to their green eyes.

Although he doesn't remember how she sounded or felt like, he will forever cherish how she looks like and that's enough for him. He wasn't aware of the tears falling until Nathalie knocked on his door.

"Your father is waiting for you downstairs, Adrien," Nathalie stepped inside.

Adrien sniffed, wiping away his tears. "Ah...I'll be right there," he smiled at her as she exited. Turning off his computer, he followed after her, taking his phone out to see any messages but only frowned to see no messages from Gwen.

Walking down the stairs, he stood silently next to his father as Nathalie opened the door. Someone was already waiting outside and put up a smile to greet the guests. But as the figure stepped inside, he felt cold at the woman's familiar features. Her long blond hair was down to a braid, her eyes vibrant against the sunlight and her rosy lips soft and kind.

Adrien gasped in shock, "Mom...?"

The woman grinned, and paraded in, throwing her arms up in the air. "My, my! Look at how much you've grown!" she walked over to Adrien, kissing his cheek. "Gabriel, isn't he just the cutest?" she turned to Gabriel who only blankly looked at her.

"I'm sure Adrien is delighted to have such a timely visit from his aunt, today of all days," Gabriel discreetly glared at her.

Adrien's confusion changed to surprise, "Aunt Amรฉlie?" He completely forgot that his mother had a twin sister.

Amรฉlie grinned, "I'm so happy to see you again! I thought it'd be better if we were all together on a day like this! Don't you agree, dear?" she turned to Adrien

Adrien smiled widely at her, happy to see her. It has been a while since he last saw his mother's side of the family. Glancing up at his father, he nervously chuckled to see the displeased expression on his face.

Spotting another figure by the door, Adrien turned to see a young man. His blonde hair gelled to the side and in his formal clothing.

"Fรฉlix?" Adrien grinned as the boy walked towards him and raised a hand for a handshake but Adrien instead pulled him in a tight hug. "Good to see you again!"

Fรฉlix, on the other hand, was not enthusiastic about the hug.

Amรฉlie, on the other other hand, was so happy to see the cousins together. "Aw, they look just like twins! Don't they, Gabriel? Do you remember when they used to have so much fun pretending to be each other? Once they had you and ร‰melie fooled for a whole weekend!" she laughed. "We laughed so hard," she laughed more.

"I won't be fooled a second time," Gabriel frowned, annoyed.

Fรฉlix turned to the man, raising a hand again. "Hello, Uncle." But Gabriel kept his hands behind his back.

Amรฉlie walked to her son, gently grabbing his shoulders. "Fรฉlix, you know your uncle's never been the physical sort." The woman noticed Gabriel fidgeting with his hands behind his back and looked, seeing his ring. "Oh! How sweet! You're still wearing your wedding band! You must have ร‰melie's too, I imagine? You never replied to my message about that. I'd still like to get the rings back, you know."

Gabriel's eyes narrowed, "These rings are obviously very special to me."

Amรฉlie frowned too, "And they're very dear to me too, Gabriel. Those jewels have always been in the Graham de Vanily family, not the Agrestes."

Gabriel hated her pleading smile, "We'll discuss it later. It's been a long journey from London, you may want to rest a bit. Nathalie?"

Nathalie turned to the woman, "Follow me, please."

Amรฉlie gladly followed Nathalie as Gabriel turned to Adrien. "Take Fรฉlix to your bedroom."

Adrien grinned, turning to his cousin. "Yes, Father. Come on, Fรฉlix!" he dashed ahead. Fรฉlix follows but subtly glances at Gabriel who enters his atelier before following Adrien to his room.

๐Ÿ•ธ๐Ÿ•ท๐Ÿ•ธ

"Just wanted to let you know we're thinking about ya!" Alya blew a kiss, smiling at the camera.

"And, cut!" Nino stopped the video, turning the camera over to Marinette. "You're one of the last ones! Ready?"

Marinette's eyes widened, instinctively turning to the intelligent blonde but she was nowhere to be found. Her body stiffened for a moment, realizing what she was doing, and shook her head. "I'd rather record myself!" she snatched the tablet. "I-I'll be right back!"

With that, the girl ran off towards the helm of the ship and flops to the ground. Somehow, the tablet seemed heavy in her hands, unsure of what to do or say. Not after conflicted feelings are starting to hurt her brain.

"What am I going to say to him?" she mostly asked herself but realized she had Tikki always by her side. "Help me, Tikki! What would you tell your kwami friend who's lost their mom?"

Tikki flew out of her bag, giving her an encouraging look. "The thing is, we kwamis live forever, Marinette. Just let your heart do the talking, and as long as it is filled with love, you can't go wrong!"

"You think?" Marinette frowned, still in turmoil with everything with Adrien and Gwen. But...she knew that this could be her only chance to confess to him. If he doesn't...then...she'll figure it out. Glancing back down at Tikki, she saw their nod at her making her start recording herself.

"Adrien..." she hesitated but her eyes will forever hold so much love for the boy who she knew she couldn't win his heart. "I love you," she finally said it. "I'll always be there if you need me." Her heart stopped in realization, making her pale at her own words.

"Ah! What was I thinking?! Oh, this is the worst day I could possibly choose to tell him! We gotta start over!" she raised her table to delete the video but Tikki blocked it, giving her a piercing look.

"There'll never be a right day to tell him!"

"Marinette!" Alya shouted from outside. "You done in there? We're all waiting for you!"

"What if the message to Adrien could turn this worst day ever, into the best day ever?" Tikki encourages.

Marinette stiffened, holding the tablet like a disease as she stepped out. She can't bring it closer because she'll delete it. She knows her body more than anyone. Walking down the steps, she handed the tablet to Alya who stood waiting for her.

"What's goin' on, girl? You feeling sick or something?" Alya asked.

Marinette just shoved the tablet in front of her. "Promise me you'll send the video without looking at it! No one can see my part!"

Alya's eyes widened, gasping excitedly. "No, don't tell me you...!" She grabbed onto the tablet but Marinette didn't budge.

"Promise," Marinette urged.

"You have my word," Alya promised, seeing as Marinette let go. "I can't believe it! Wow!" She turns and runs to the others. "Hey, Gwen! It's your turn!"

Marinette paled, stiffening. Her stomach started to grumble nervously. What will the girl say? Gwen is the type of person who knows what to say in any situation. Dang it, why does she have to be the last one, now she's nervous.

Marinette groans, dropping to the ground.

Alya ran back to the others, looking around but couldn't find the girl anywhere. Taking a moment further, she saw the girl far away from the others, standing silently beside Luka. Alya blinked, walking over to them.

"Hey, Gwen," Alya smiled, holding up the camera. "Would you like to say some words to Adrien?"

Gwen looked back, glancing at Luka who gave her an encouraging smile with a nod. Gwen straightened her lips for a moment before quietly sighing through her nose. She smiled at Alya, "Can I, uh...record myself instead? I have more to say," she chuckled.

Alya blinked before nodding to her, handing the tablet to Gwen before walking off to meet the others.

Gwen held the tablet in her hand, the screen turned off. She couldn't help but find her reflection unappealing, filled with dark bags under her eyes and faint acne scars.

"It doesn't have to be about what happened yesterday," Luka noticed her nervousness. "You don't even have to do this if you don't want to," he gently strummed the guitar. "You can personally go to him if you want."

Gwen frowned, tapping the tablet's screen and seeing it lit up. "Yeah...you know, I don't even know why I'm so hung up about this," she flopped the tablet on her lap. "I mean, it was just a kiss. Isn't it?" she turned to Luka.

Luka smiled at her, "I think you're scared that it could be more."

Gwen's eyes widened.

"You have been so upset about your past, perhaps you're scared that you'll forget about Peter and he'll never forgive you for it," Luka changed the tune of the guitar. "Seeing Adrien scared as he kissed you, made you nervous. The thought of being in a relationship with someone else finally sunk in and made you hesitant. Even to someone you have been developing feelings for."

Gwen chuckled, shaking her head in disbelief. "You're something else..."

"Am I wrong?" Luka smirked, chuckling as she playfully shoved his shoulder.

Gwen's smile slowly dropped, looking back down at the screen. Perhaps, Luka was right. However, she can't help the gnarly feeling still stirring deep within her gut. The last time she felt like this was when Peter was with Cindy...

Gwen loudly sighed, putting the video to record, making sure Luka wasn't on the screen. The boy was not prepared for it as he immediately changed the tune of the guitar as background music.

"Hey...Omen. Sorry, I couldn't call back, I accidentally smashed my phone," Gwen chuckled nervously, almost hearing Adrien through the screen. "Don't worry about it, I understand. Whenever you want to meet up to talk about anything, I'll always be there when you need me. I'll get a phone right away so we can talk all night if you want to. It doesn't even have to be about anything, just...being there. Though...I'll contact you as my number is probably not even going to be available in Paris. See you later? Bye." Gwen stopped the video, looking back at Luka.

Luka smiled at her, patting her shoulder.

"Do you remember our shooting contests?" Adrien grinned, tossing the basketball at Fรฉlix, who unenthusiastically caught it by one hand and threw it into the hood behind him, successfully scoring.

Adrien blinked, frowning sadly. "I'm really sorry I didn't come to your dad's funeral. My father thought it would be too hard on me, considering...everything that's happened this year. You've every right to be mad at me."

"You always do everything your father tells you to do?" Fรฉlix finally spoke up.

"He's very..." Adrien smiled fondly. "Protective of me."

Fรฉlix smiled, walking over to Adrien and pulled him into a hug. His eyes glint with mischief as he deviously steals Adrien's cell phone from his pocket, which doesn't go unnoticed by Plagg who was hiding.

Fรฉlix pulled back, "Oh! Do you have that chess board we used to play all the time?"

Adrien grinned excitedly, "Of course! Let me go upstairs and get it for us!" he ran up the stairs.

"Well, I challenge you," Fรฉlix called out. "So let the best man win!" he walked over to Adrien's belongings, snooping through every cabinet.

"Found it!" Adrien called from upstairs.

"Grab a deck of cards, too, while you're up there!" Fรฉlix picked up a piece of cheese and sniffed it, frowning at it.

"You still doing magic?"

"Now more than ever, you'll see," Fรฉlix walked over to Adrien's bed and placed the cheese under his pillow, squishing it onto the sheets.

"How about karate? Are you still practicing?"

"Of course!" Fรฉlix replied.

Plagg gasped in outrage, flying towards Adrien. "We need to talk, Adrien!"

Adrien's eyes widened to see him, "What are you doing here? Hide!"

"Mind if I take a shower?" Fรฉlix called out from downstairs.

Adrien grinned, "No, go ahead! Make yourself at home!" Hearing the door of his bathroom close, he turned to Plagg but the kwami wasn't done.

"What's up with that cousin of yours? First, he searches through your things, and then, the most unforgiving thing of all, he squashes my hunk of goat's cheese under your pillow! I'd been maturing that baby for two weeks! Do you realize? Two whole weeks!"

Adrien sighed, "Listen, Plagg. Fรฉlix lost his dad not so long ago, he's probably not himself."

Plagg dismissed that. "I'm sorry, but there's just no excuse! You never touched my cheese, and yet, you just lost your mother not so long ago, right?โ€“" Plagg stops, seeing the saddened expression on Adrien's face. He went too far. "Please, forgive me, Adrien. I didn't mean to."

Adrien said sincerely. "I know. And I'm sorry about your cheese," he sadly grabs the chessboard and cards and heads back downstairs. Plagg droops, looking down in shame for hurting Adrien's feelings.

Meanwhile, Fรฉlix turned on the shower as he looked through Adrien's phone. Even as going far to look into his gallery, he half expected to see pictures of himself but was surprised to see pictures of a blonde girl along with captured images of Ghost-Spider.

"Of course, that idiot has a crush on a superhero," Fรฉlix rolled his eyes. Nobody even knows what she looks like. And what's worse, the blond girl was in every single picture in his gallery.

A message notification pops up on the scene and he clicks on it.

It was of a boy with a red cap, "Hey, my dude! I'm not quite sure what to tell you, except that, you're my man, dude! And bros are always there for their guys!"

"Bros are always thereโ€“blah, blah, blah!" Fรฉlix mocks. "Moron." He taps into another message, seeing a blond girl with too much pink on her.

"Unicorns have a saying: even when there's nothing but gray skies and rain, all it takes is one little sunbeam for a rainbow to appear!"

"Loser."

Now a boy with abnormally large glasses and a robot beside him. "It's one hundred percent proven, you should feel fifty-two percent happier with a healthy dose of laughter. So Markov has uploaded a few jokes for you! Starting withโ€“"

"Freak," Fรฉlix skipped ahead, now a video of Chloรฉ.

"When my mother left for New York, I felt so sad. It felt like she was..." she sighed before looking at the camera sincerely. "She came back, and I know how lucky I am. So, you can count on me, my Adrikins."

Fรฉlix rolled his eyes, annoyed. "Chloรฉ. Just as annoying as usual."

"Adrien...I love you. I'll always be there if you need me," a girl in pigtails smiled at the camera.

"Another one of his fans," Fรฉlix groaned, swiping to the next one.

"Hey...Omen. Sorry, I couldn't call back, I accidentally smashed my phone," a girl from before chuckled nervously. Bye."

It was the blond girl again, he was subtly surprised the girl didn't confess as he expected, seeing Adrien basically obsessed with her...Fรฉlix smirked.

"Pathetic," he deletes everyone's messages. "Adrien!" he called out. "Can you lend me some clean clothes? I left my suitcase downstairs."

"Sure!" Adrien's voice muffled from the other side of the door. "Take whatever you want in the closet!"

"Thanks!" Fรฉlix opened the closet as he now changed into Adrien's exact outfit and copied his hair, now a spitting image of his cousin. "Perfect."

Getting Adrien's phone, he mimics his voice and starts recording. "First of all, thanks so much for all your messages, guys..."

Back at the houseboat, all the children were just doing their own thing when a certain notification got their attention. They all grew excited to see it came from Adrien and huddled together to see.

"Come here!" Alya called everyone. "Adrien sent a message back on the group chat!"

"He did?" Nino grinned.

Marinette paled, "Oh no! I don't wanna know!" She turns to walk away but turns around determined. "Yes, I do wanna know!" But she once again felt cold on her spine, throwing her arms up and running away. "No, I don't!"

She ended up running towards Luka's and Juleka's room, pacing around in worry. "What if he tells me that he loves me? Or that he doesn't love me? Or that he likes me, but not in that wayโ€“AH!" she screamed at the sight of Luka sitting across the room with his guitar.

The boy only looked amused, strumming his fingers on his guitar.

"Luka?" Marinette blinked before grimacing. "Please don't tell me you heard me..." All the weight on her shoulders started to feel heavy on her as her body moved to sit on Juleka's bed.

Luka smiled, standing up and walking over to sit next to her. "You know, I'll be really happy for you and Adrien if it works out. And if it doesn't...I'll be here for you."

Marinette smiled at him, "Thanks, Luka."

Luka pulled out his phone to look at the group chat and see Adrien's video.

"First of all, thanks so much for all your messages, guys, really," Adrien smiled. "Sending me messages on today of all days..." Adrien's smile turned to annoyance and his tone vindictive. "To remind me how sad I'm supposed to be feeling? Why, that's great! Really! Thanks a lot!"

"There's something wrong," Marinette frowned in concern.

"My father was right. What could I possibly get from going to school? Hanging out with you people is a total waste of time! And Chloรฉ, you're still the same spoiled brat you ever were, you know that?"

Marinette's eyes widened in disbelief. As if struck by lightning, she stood up. "That's not him. Impossible! There's no way that's Adrien!" she ran out of the room.

In his office, Gabriel was looking through his designs, away from Amรฉlie and everything to do with them when Nathalie stepped into his atelier.

"Sorry, sir. Lila Rossi just sent this to us," Nathalie informed. "It's a message from Adrien's phone."

Gabriel saw Nathalie's notification and played the video. He saw so much disgust in his "son's" eyes that he narrowed his. "Fรฉlix."

Nathalie smirked, "Adrien's friends think it's him on the video. They must be feeling very hurt right now."

Gabriel smirked, too. "Mmm. All this disappointment might just help us get rid of our unwanted guests," he said. He then headed to his wife's painting and entered his lair.

๐Ÿ•ธ๐Ÿ•ท๐Ÿ•ธ

Gwen left the houseboat early, not bothering to stay behind to see if Adrien replied or not. Instead, she decided that she should just follow through with what she said and get a new phone.

She groaned at the thought. Her phone from another universe had its perks. Although she couldn't contact anybody from her family or friends, she still somehow had service to contact Adrien and the others. Basically, she had free service for some reason.

And the thought of buying a new phone and paying to get service every month sounds like another chunk of her paycheck getting taken away.

"And I was hoping to go to the movies again," she facepalmed.

So, here she stood at the phone store and entered, unaware of the three previous villains heading straight to Adrien's place. She looked through the phones, almost tempted to ask the vendor which one was better but knowing companies, the newer, the better, the more expensive.

Ding!

Gwen frowned, discreetly looking down at her bracer. Seeing one notification from Adrien...to her. Not the group chat or anything.

She looked through the phones one last time before stepping out of the store to look down at the bracer, seeing a video sent from the boy. Taking a deep breath, she pressed play.

However, she instantly paused it as the boy came into the frame. She furrowed her brows at him.

"Who the hell is this?" she frowned. The boy had the same blonde hair, the same length, the same face structure, the same skin color, everything. However, Gwen instantly knew that there was something wrong with the boy. Was it his stance? His smile? Something was different.

Gwen narrowed her eyes, playing the video.

"Hey, I wanted to talk to you. Please, come to my house. I need you." With that, the boy hung up.

"Is it Chameleon?" she furrowed her brows as she bolted straight towards Adrien's house. It doesn't feel right. Is it a trap? They were asking for her to be at Adrien's house specifically and calling for her only.

She gritted her teeth, feeling herself seething. "This asshat better know what he's getting himself into. If I see a small bruise on Adrien, he's dead."

๐Ÿ•ธ๐Ÿ•ท๐Ÿ•ธ

Nathalie barged into Adrien's room after getting orders to protect him. She immediately spotted him sitting by his desk. "Come along, Adrien. You have a last-minute photo shoot."

Adrien blinked, still waiting for Fรฉlix to step out of the shower. "Now?" he turns to the bathroom, his eyes widening to see Fรฉlix looking exactly like him.

Nathalie frowned, looking between the two boys. But Adrien only smiled, standing up from his chair and turning to his cousin. "Will you come with me, Fรฉlix?"

"Your father insisted you go alone, hurry," Nathalie urged but Adrien's phone beeps in Fรฉlix's pocket.

Fรฉlix pulled out the phone and threw it away as it lit up so brightly. As the light disappeared, three female villains stood. The Punishers Trio.

Reflekta held out her mirror from her hand, "It's time for your punishment, you naughtyโ€“Oh!" she blinked as she saw two Adriens in front of them.

"Boys?" The Punishers Trio blinked.

Lady Wifi gritted her teeth, "It all makes sense now! There were two Adriens."

"That explains why our super nice video was answered by the super mean one!" Princess Fragrance exclaimed.

Adrien glanced sadly at Fรฉlix. What did he do?

"Which one of you is a cruel and inferior copy of the original?" Reflekta demanded, aiming her wrist at the both of them.

Adrien turned to Fรฉlix, still slightly confused. "What video is she talking about?"

"Hey, I have no idea what they're going on about," Fรฉlix lied.

Lady Wifi clicked her tongue, "One of you two guys tried to make Adrien look like a monster."

Adrien knew that Fรฉlix was going through so many things and he knew that his cousin didn't deserve it. So, he took the initiative. Pointing accusingly at Fรฉlix, he spoke up, "It was him! He's Fรฉlix! My cousin!"

Fรฉlix gasped, surprised that his cousin would rat him out.

Princess Fragrance aimed her gun at Adrien, "Only a real meanie would tell on his cousin! You must be Fรฉlix!"

Nathalie knew what the boy was trying to do and stood in front of him protectively. "What are you doing, Adrien?"

Lady Wifi frowned, still confused. "Adrien? Is that Fรฉlix or not?"

"What do you think?" Adrien cackled maniacally and ran out of the room.

"That's him!" Reflekta accused. "He's the real Fรฉlix!"

Nathalie's eyes narrowed as the three ran to catch him but she stood in front of the door. "Don't touch him!" she spat, running forward, grabbing Princess Fragrance, and throwing her across the room.

Reflekta's and Lady Wifi's eyes widened at her strength and stiffened, preparing to attack if necessary. They both aimed their weapons and fired at her but Nathalie dropped to the ground and swung her legs over their feet, tripping Reflekta to the ground. But Lady Wifi caught on and jumped over it.

But she wasn't quick to think ahead as Nathalie, still on the ground, kicked her tablet up in the air and to Adrien's library. Lady Wifi's eyes widened and jumped high to get it. Princess Fragrance stood up and jumped to follow but Nathalie took hold of her ankle and threw her hard on the floor.

Fรฉlix watches this all happen from behind Adrien's cabinets and flinches when the body meets the floor but smirks as the woman is relentless in dodging the Trio's attacks. Even though she got zapped by Reflekta, her attacks were still endless until Lady Wifi finally managed to zap her, pausing her on the spot.

Fรฉlix noticed how the three stiffened up as they were being communicated by Hawkmoth and smiled nervously as they turned to him.

"Hey, girls, waitโ€“ I didn't do anything!" he tried.

"But..." Lady Wifi frowned.

Fรฉlix finally dropped his act, standing up. "Oh well, it's too easy. Where's the fun? You want real? I'll show you real," he raised his hands in his karate stance.

"It's time for punishment, naughty boy," Reflekta aimed her wrist at him.

"Be careful what you wish for, naughty girls," he smirked.

The Trio shoots their weapons at him, but he dodges them all before landing a kick on Reflekta.

He continued to easily dodge their attacks, finding his opportunity to attack them when needed. He landed right at the door when he felt a harsh tug on his shirt and out of the door. He yelped, falling on the ground, preparing to fight back but he was once again grabbed by the wrist and bolted out of the mansion.

He was going too fast and they kept a firm grip on his wrist as they ran out of the mansion. He was able to make out the blond hair and his eyes glinted in mischief.

She fell for it.

Gwen kept running, knowing better than to jump to a rooftop. She wasn't able to see if she grabbed the right boy but she wouldn't risk it to find out. At that moment, she grabbed one and ran out. Hopefully, she would get some time to hide before the Trio runs after them.

Stopping near an apartment, she panted. "You'll be safe here," she said, as the boy was in the worst state. He did not think they would run nonstop. He took a closer look at her. He won't say, but he's getting to where Adrien's crush originated.ย

"Wait," Fรฉlix spoke, still unsure of her name. "I want to talk."

She stiffened, looking down at his form, refusing to look into his eyes. Her heart was still confused about what to do next and clicked her tongue. "Are you serious, right now?" she scoffed. "You're in danger and you want to talk about it?"

"But..." he exaggerated his hesitance. "I've always been in love with you, you know."

He said it.

He fucking said it.

Gwen looked away, looking to see if any villains would be near. "It's not the time," she murmured. Her mind still played the image of desperation from the boy.

"If only you would...let me," Fรฉlix walked up to her. She sensed him coming close but she still refused to look at him. She felt him press himself onto her, leaning his hand on the side of her head. "Give you some courage before you go..." he leaned in.

Her senses flared, making her eyes snap open and look at him. She noticed it instantly, making her clench her fist.

It wasn't Adrien.

But before she could punch him, a black-gloved fist did it first. And not so gently, might the author add. The boy was flung across the alley to the ground. Fรฉlix grunted in pain, falling on his back and blood trickling his lips.

"What?" he looked up, stiffening as the black-suited hero stood in front of Gwen, his feline eyes sharper and brighter beneath the shadows. His claws only seemed larger the longer he stood in front of Gwen.

Gwen's eyes widened too in shock. She didn't think Chat was capable of punching a civilian like that. "Chat..." she murmured.

Chat seethed, gritting his teeth in disbelief. He's going to kill him. But first...He immediately turned to Gwen, grabbing her shoulders. "Are you okay? He didn't kiss you?"

Gwen shook her head, "No."

Chat sighed, closing his eyes in relief. What was Fรฉlix thinking?! Dragging his friends is one thing, but dragging Gwen into this? He turned to the boy, marching over to grab him but Gwen ran forward and stood in front of the wounded boy.

"It's not Adrien," she spoke up, getting his attention. "It's not him, it's a clone or something."

Chat nodded, "That's Fรฉlix. Adrien's cousin. I just ran into the real Adrien and he told me everything."

Gwen frowned, turning to the boy. It's not possible. How the hell is the boy so similar to Adrien? What the hell is going on?

Chat walked forward, gently grabbing Gwen's wrist protectively. "You made a lot of enemies in one day, bet you don't have a lot of friends, acting the way that you do," he glared down at him. "Am I wrong?" he crosses his arms.

Ladybug finally arrived at the scene, hearing everything from the rooftop. She blinked, seeing Gwen of all people here, and noticed Chat holding her wrist.

Her eye twitched, Gwen seriously can have everybody, can't she?

"Cut it out!" she spoke up. "There's no time for bickering they're coming! Lucky Charm!" An aerosol fell on her hand.

Hearing multiple footsteps coming near, Chat turned to Gwen urgently. "Go and hide, I'll find you. I promise."

Gwen frowned, turning to Fรฉlix. She contemplated for a second before nodding. "Good luck, guys." With that, she ran out and turned a corner to change into her costume.

Chat and Ladybug nodded, running out on the streets for more room, dragging Fรฉlix along. Just in time for the Trio to arrive.

"You really think covering us with whipped cream will save you from being punished, Ladybug?" Reflekta smirked, pointing her mirror at them.

Princess Fragrance landed beside her. "Do you wanna smell like fish for the rest of your life, kitty?" she aimed her gun at Chat.

Lady Wifi landed behind the heroes. "Do anything and I'll pause you for good!"

Chat deadpanned, "You spend way too much time on your phone, you know that?"

It was a standstill until Fรฉlx managed to kick the tablet out of Lady Wifi's hands, taking it. Ladybug's eyes widened, "Fรฉlix, smash it in half, and this nightmare will be over!"

Fรฉlix smirked maliciously, "What makes you think I want it to be over?" He later glared, "Hawkmoth!" he shouted, "Can you hear me, Hawkmoth? You want Ladybug and Chatnoir's miraculous, don't you?!"

Chat's and Ladybug's eyes widened in shock, believing the boy had betrayed them.

"What do you want?" Hawkmoth spoke through Lady Wifi.

"I'm after a piece of jewelry, too." Fรฉlix turned to her. "How about we make a little exchange?"

"Get ahold of the miraculous first," Hawkmoth spoke through Reflekta.

"We'll discuss the rest later," Hawkmoth spoke through Princess Fragrance.

Fรฉlix smirked, "You've got yourself a deal. Now I think it's high time Ladybug and Chatnoir were punished," he held out the tablet back to Lady Wifi.

Ladybug looked around, spotting a plan. She smirked as she easily tossed the aerosol on the ground just as Lady Wifi stepped on it to fight her. She yelped, rolling on the object before clumsily tackling Reflekta.

Princess Fragrance also fired her gun, aiming at Chat. But the shock caused Reflekta to shoot at Princess Fragrance. The perfume landed a direct hit at Chat, but the hero was quick to use his staff as a shield, deflecting the perfume.

But his staff extended, knocking Fรฉlix back, getting close to the bridge. The boy exclaimed in shock, falling back and towards the water. But a strong web caught him by the chest.

He felt a harsh tug, causing the tablet to fall off his hand. But another web caught the tablet and was tugged to a familiar pink-gloved hand.

Ghost smirked behind her mask as she stood under the bridge, holding on to Fรฉlix in one hand and the tablet in the other. Grabbing the tablet, she crushed it with her hand.

"Silly rabbit," she glared down at the boy, dunking him into the water. "Tricks are for kids!" she laughed as she kept dunking him and raising him from the water.

Ladybug saw the akuma fly on the side of the bridge and caught it with her yo-yo, purifying it.

Reflekta turned back to Juleka.

Lady Wifi turned back to Alya.

Princess Fragrance turned back to Rose.

The Punishers' Trio was no more.

Ghost walked on the side of the bridge, dragging a distressed wet Fรฉlix. She looked up at her partners as she walked towards them. Ladybug and Chat smirked. "I hope you learned your lesson," Chat looked down at Fรฉlix, amused by Ghost dunking his cousin on the water a couple of times.

Fรฉlix nods fearfully as Ghost pulls him up and drops him on the floor, webbing his lips. She turned to the duo, raising her fist. "Sorry, I'm late."

Chat raised his fist but Ladybug stood still, refusing to look at her. Ghost frowned, confused as Ladybug fist-bumped Chat before throwing her aerosol in the air.

"Miraculous Ladybug!" she brought everything back to normal.

It was time for the Graham de Vanily family to talk to The Agrestes after everything. Adrien stood in front of Fรฉlix while his aunt and his father stood behind their respective sons.

"That video you sent to my friends..." Adrien frowned disappointingly at Fรฉlix. "Unforgivable, Fรฉlix."

Fรฉlix looked down, refusing to meet his eyes in shame.

Amรฉlie frowned at Fรฉlix worriedly, "Now that his father isn't here to stop him from getting into mischief."

Fรฉlix held back a retort to snap at his mother but only stopped her, "I don't deserve to be forgiven, Mom. I put my favorite cousin in danger. He's right. No apology can ever be enough," he finally meets Adrien's eyes. "I just hope I can learn from this, and come back to see you as a better person someday."

He held out his hand and Adrien was about to shake it when Fรฉlix went in for a hug. Adrien smiled, hugging him back.

"I really am sorry," Fรฉlix continued. "I'll do my best to make it up to you." He turned to Gabriel, "And to you, too, Uncle." he held out his hand.

But the man only stared at his hand, contemplating if the boy meant his words. He can almost feel the malice in the boy's eyes. But in the end, he shook his hand. His silver ring met Fรฉlix's hand.

"Goodbye, Fรฉlix."

With that, Amรฉlie blew them a kiss and walked out of the mansion. Adrien followed Fรฉlix out, seeing the boy follow after his mother but Adrien grabbed his arm, hugging him one last time. Fรฉlix hugged him back but stiffened as Adrien whispered in his ear.

"I know that you are in pain and I understand what you went through. Perhaps one day I'll forgive you for what you did to my friends," Adrien's eyes later darkened, tightening his hold on Fรฉlix's body. The boy stiffened as he was slowly starting to lose air.

"But pull that stunt again on Gwen," Adrien glared ahead. "And I won't hesitate..." Next time...

Fรฉlix coughed as Adrien finally let him go, smiling at him as he waved. The boy only ran after his mother.

๐Ÿ•ธ๐Ÿ•ท๐Ÿ•ธ

"Sorry, Plagg," Adrien smiled at his kwami, placing a plate of cheese on the bed. "If Fรฉlix didn't destroy your cheese and steal my phone, none of this would've happened."

Plagg grinned enthusiastically about the cheese. "You cousin can come back whenever he wants!" he laughed.

Adrien grinned, "Did you know my friends recorded messages for me? What a nice thing to do! I've got an idea."

Grabbing his phone he started recording, "Hey guys. I never got your messages, but I'm really touched just knowing you were thinking of me today. You're the best friends anyone could ever dream of. I love you, all of you."

๐Ÿ•ธ๐Ÿ•ท๐Ÿ•ธ

Fรฉlix sat on his seat of the train, watching as his mother sat beside him. "I've got a surprise for you, Mom," he reached behind her ear and pulled out Gabriel's ring.

The woman's eyes widened in shock, gasping in disbelief. "But Gabriel refused to hand it over to me! And after everything that happenedโ€“" she gently cupped his face. "My little magician. I can never understand how you always manage to get what you want," she leaned her hand on his. "Keep it. It's yours now."

Fรฉlix's eyes widened in surprise, "But...you wanted it so much."

Amรฉlie smiled at him, "Only to give it to you. You've always been so fascinated by them. How many times have you asked me to tell you the story of the Graham de Vanily twin rings, huh?" she kissed his forehead. "I'm glad it's back in the family where it truly belongs," she winks at him before leaning her head back to sleep.

Fรฉlix looks down at the ring before smiling deviously out the window.

๐Ÿ•ธ๐Ÿ•ท๐Ÿ•ธ

Gwen only stared silently at her bracer, unsure of what to make next. She still couldn't help but think about the kiss and Adrien's cousin. And something was off. How does this Fรฉlix look like a spitting image of Adrien? It's genetically not possible. Even when she attended the science school and did some cool experiences, she damn well knows that something was off.ย

But she was afraid to ask Adrien in the end. After the fight, she went straight to the phone store and bought a phone. She liked it, it was different from her old one and she had her memory card saved so her pictures were still there.ย

But in the end, holding the new phone in her hand, she looked at the saved phone numbers and took a deep breath. Closing her eyes to take a moment to herself, she pressed on the specific number, letting it ring for a few seconds.ย

"...Adrien, hey. Can I come over? We need to talk."
