Remus- You are so dense...

(Warning: It's Remus. It's pretty obvious how this is going to go. Mild language. Y'know the normal with Remus.)

(Y/n's) POV:

I was casually eating cookies with Patton as Roman and Virgil argued. Logan and Thomas debating about whether or not they should interfere Virgil's and Roman's disagreement.

I sat on the counter, munching on my cookie as Patton sat on a barstool, a cookie in his hand as well.

"Jeez... What has got their panties in a wad?" I heard a familiar voice say, from beside me.

I turned to look at Remus, he was sitting on the counter beside me, his legs criss-crossed.

"Oh, Hey, Remus." I greeted.

"Hi, Darling." He said.

Hm. That was strange. Remus has never called me 'Darling' before. Maybe he was coming up with new nicknames.

"Would you like a cookie?" I asked him, holding the cookie jar.

"I'd like something else to eat." He said suggestively.

"Well, Thomas has some cheesecake in the fridge." I told him, turning back to look at the argument.

Remus sighed, slouching a bit.

Roman and Virgil we're still going at it, shouting, Fussing, yelling, you name it.

Logan and Thomas finally stopped their debate and decided to try to get the two calmed down.

I felt my hand grow warm, I looked at my hand to see Remus holding it.

"Is there something wrong?" I asked, confused.

"Your hand looked cold." He answered, smirking.

"It's the middle of the summer." I replied.

"Right.." Remus responded, seeming a little disappointed as he let go of my hand.

I looked back to see the others were finally done arguing, and we're now looking at Remus.

"When did he get here?" Roman asked.

"Not too long ago." Patton answered, stuffing his face with his 'second' cookie, as he said, though I knew he had lost count on how many he ate.

"Is that blood?" Virgil asked, inspecting Remus's outfit.

I looked at his outfit to see a little speck of red on it.

"Maybeee." Answered Remus, him leaning back a little.

"Oh my god." Thomas sighed.

"What? I haven't told you what it was, it could be ketchup for all you know." Remus scoffed.

"Is it ketchup?" Thomas asked.

"...No."

"I thought not..." Thomas said, burying his head in his hands.

"Who did you kill?" Roman asked, worriedly.

"I didn't kill anybody." Remus answered him, smiling goofily.

"Oh thank goodness." Roman said, sighing in relief.

"Yet."

"Oh my gosh... Remus no." I said, setting down the cookie jar.

He sighed.

"Fine, fine, fine, I won't kill anybody." He reassured me.

"Good."

"So, does anyone want to play this game I heard of?" Remus asked, joyously.

"What is it?" Patton asked his, Stuffing his face with yet another cookie.

"Well, I forgot the name, but it's where you take a gun and put one bullet in-"

"No! We shall not play such a deadly game, and it's called Russian roulette." Logan interrupted.

"Fineeee. Since you guys are so boring, I'm going to leave." Remus said.

He took my hand and layed a sloppy kiss on it, before sinking down.

"What was that?" Virgil asked, looking dumbfounded.

"It's called a kiss." I answered him.

"No like- Why did he kiss your hand. Even Roman doesn't do that." Thomas inquired.

"I don't know, he's been doing that lately." I told them, grabbing another cookie out of the cookie jar.

"I know why." Roman announced, smugly, Crossing his arms.

"You can't mean-" Logan started.

Roman nodded his head.

"Yes, That's exactly what I mean."

"Ohhhhh! No way!" Virgil gasped.

"What?" I asked, confused.

They just ignored me.

Patton gasped suddenly from beside me, on the barstool, his jaw dropping to the floor.

"Oh my gosh! I think I get it now!" Patton giggled.

"Wait, Are we all thinking the same thing?" Thomas exclaimed, chuckling nervously.

"Indeed, Thomas." Logan answered him.

"What are you guys talking about?!" I questioned, jumping off of the counter and walking up to the group.

"Oh, (Y/n), You are so dense..." Virgil sighed.

"What? What am I not understanding?" I asked them, getting a little annoyed.

"How can you not notice? It's so obvious!" Virgil exclaimed, trying to give me a hint without completely telling me.

"What am I not noticing?!" I yelled, getting angry.

"What Virgil means, (Y/n), Is that Remus has started feeling romanti-" Logan was cut off by a hand on his mouth.

"You finish that sentence and I will finish you." Remus said, holding a tight grip onto Logan's mouth.

"What are they talking about, Remus?" I asked, hoping I'd finally get an answer.

"Nothing, don't worry about it." He replied, letting go of Logan.

"Nothing? You call your little crus-" A mace stuck to the wall right beside Roman's head.

"Shut. The. Hell. Up. Roman." Remus growled.

"What? What in the world is everyone talking about?" I asked.

They ignored me, conversing about how Remus should not have weapons.

"Hello?!"

Nothing.

"Excuse me!"

Still, they didn't pay any attention to me.

"WILL EVERYONE SHUT THE HELL UP?!"

Silence. Finally, everyone had stopped debating and payed attention to me.

Thomas looked surprised. Virgil looked shook. Roman was amazed. Logan was startled. Patton was scared and Remus was a mix of all five of them.

"Will somebody please tell me what the hell is going on?!" I exclaimed. "Either you guys are ignoring me of brushing me off. It's really pissing me off!"

Again, Silence.

"If no-one will tell me than I'll figure it out my damn sel-"

Suddenly someone was kissing me, my eyes shot open as a familiar mustache tickled my upper lip.

A warmth spread through me as I realized who it was. My cheeks flushed as Remus held onto them gently. I understood now, I understood why Remus was acting more different lately, why everyone wouldn't tell me what was going on, why he started kissing my hand. He liked me. He pulled away as butterflies flew through my stomach.

"Understand now?"

I nodded, not being able to form words at the moment.

"Good, so, the real question is- Will you go out with me?"

I nodded again, my voice failing me.

He smiled pulling me in for another kiss but not being able to.

"May I finish my sentence now?" Logan asked.

"No."
