Chapter 9
Abuela walked down the street, when she'd gone to talk to Mariano's parents she had lost sight of Camilo. She was still worried he was figuring out answers. But she couldn't let that happen, otherwise it'd send the family into a state of fear and worry. If she could calm them down and tell them all at dinner about Ravana - her sister - she felt like there might be a calmer response. Though it would still be pretty hard for them to consume all the information at once. Pausing by a man Abuela nodded to him in greeting.
"Have you seen Camilo?"
The man looked up from his work and nodded. "Yes he went over there to help with some decorations, but I just saw him run to somewhere else so you'll have to ask those people where his going next."
Abuela looked where his finger was pointing to see some people setting up decorations, looking completely baffled. She smiled at the man next to her. "Thanks you."
But when she reached the place where Camilo had just been Abuela felt her mood instantly change. No, it couldn't be, she hadn't even taken it out fo her room! But it was. There, lying on the ground was her journal, the one that had all the secrets and answers to the butterfly he'd seen. The one that would make him know about Ravana. Abuela picked up the book and pursed her lips, trying to get herself ready for the chaos that would be happening back at Casita.

Camilo kept running as fast as he could towards Casita. He occasionally turned into a kid to skid under a wagon or Jose to jump over horses. As he panted, he managed to whisper things under his breath.
"Dolores, I know you can hear me. Please listen, Abuela has a sister called Ravana, she had a bad miracle which is now a faded. But basically she wants revenge on our miracle so now she's stronger and trying to take over Casita. She could be coming any second. Go tell the others, we have to be prepared." Camilo could imagine Dolores back at the Casita, eyes wide and warning and gathering everyone together. He was pretty sure most people were doing chores at the house today so that was good. He'd probably be the last one to reach Casita before the attack - unless Abuela came later than him.
As Casita came into view, he felt adrenaline pumping through him. He had to get their before Ravana reached their house. He had to get their and help defeat her, he would die to save the miracle, if it meant his family could live. His heart beat louder with each thumping step. He was nearly there, he could make it in time. A shriek from Casita stopped Camilo short. He knew that voice, it was too familiar. He was too late.
"ANTONIO!"
Sorry for the short chapter! If you've got any ideas for Dolores's room please tell me! I'm going to add it into my next chapter!
