There they were.

The culprit was just on the other side of that wall, about to take their next victim.

She had no back up, not at the moment. She had no police behind her, and none of her friends were hair. Gia's mother was supposed to be home, had something happened to her as well?

Now wasn't the time to analyze.

Without giving it a second thought, Iv rushed out of the house to the backyard, seeing the figure trying to pick Gia up. Their body and face was completely covered in a black suit, one that made their body type unable to determine, you couldn't even tell if they were male or female.

The only think visible were the eyes, which were completely black. They had probably put on some exotic contact lenses to hide their true eye color.

To Iv's surprise, their eyes went wide at the sight of her, I guess they hadn't expected to be caught in the act after succeeding so many times before.

Only problem was that if their theory was correct, that would mean that they had unimaginable power at the moment. She couldn't fight against someone like that!

Well, not for a long while. Her friends were already on their way, all she had to do was buy some time.

Her skin was already boiling as her powers coursed through her veins, hands lighting up in raging flames, with a glare as sharp as ice.

"I won't let you take her!!"

The person with the hidden identity only glared back with even more anger, standing up straight as the young girl launched her attack. From the sight of things, both sides of the battle were fast, strong, and agile, the figure able to smoothly avoid every attack she tried to strike.

Until they got bored.

Raising an arm, she was suddenly lifted right off her feet, floating in the air. Her face went pale when she stared down at the culprit's eyes, ones that she recognized far too well.

Cipher eyes.

Completely yellow with the black slit in between. Bill Cipher had those eyes all the time, he couldn't change them. As for his children, they only had such eyes whenever they were using their magic to their full extent.

The culprit's hand closed into a tight fist before lowering it down, forcing Iv to be harshly thrown back to the ground, the air being knocked out of her lungs do to the impact and forcing her to gasp for air. Noticing the dark green aura that surrounded their arm, she was able to leap out of the way as they shot a beam at her.

Her eyes widened even more when she noticed the culprit's eyes had changed. This time, they had Riverton eyes, the lime green snake eyes.

Though before she could comprehend it, the eyes quickly changed color. Or more so, they morphed into someone else's eyes.

White eyes.

Completely.

The only one who ever got eyes like that was..

"Aw, what's wrong, Ivangelys..?" Her heart stopped as the one behind the mask spoke. It was far too familiar to her, far too painful as they raised an arm, hand glowing a light blue.

"Too afraid to fight your own brother..?"

At those words, the figure moved their arm in front of themselves at quick speed, Iv barely managing to avoid the sharp icicles that had formed where she was. Forming a shield that would burn the icicles, she growled at them. "You are not my brother, don't think you can trick me with that!"

A cackle escaped their lips, when Lidia's voice then spoke. "I had a feeling you'd be one of the few that would figure it out."

Bill's voice. "Everyone in this town is just so stupid! Know what I mean?"

Nate's voice. "But you, you're always thinking one step ahead."

And then Laurie's voice. "Let's see if you can see who I really am though."

When the figure disappeared, she barely had the time to form a shield just as they attempted an attack, causing her to be pushed far back and crash into the house walls, then fall to the ground as she coughed.

They went back to Aiden's voice, walking over to Iv as they let out a menacing chuckle. "Maybe you should've been one of the first people I took, I didn't realize how useful your magic could-"

"Iv!!!"

The masked figure tended up, quickly backing away as they noticed Noah, Lola, and Victor running over. A growl escaped them, and before anyone could reach, they disappeared into thin air.

Iv did her best to catch her breath, ignoring the pain that emanated from every fresh cut and bruise she had gotten while fighting.

Lola looked around the scene. "What happened?!"

"G.. Gia.." Iv asked in a bit of a whisper as she tried to sit up, Noah now kneeling beside her to help.

Victor and Lola ran over to Gia, her older sister taking her in her arms, carefully pressing a hand against her mouth, feeling her breathing. "... she's okay.."

"Just asleep.." Victor added as he wiped the grass beside Gia with his fingers, raising his hand to show the blue dust that had been left behind.

"You aren't though!" Noah complained in worry as he wrapped one of her arms around his shoulders, wrapping his own around her waist as he helped her stand up.

She held in a groan, flinching a bit as the pain pierced through her. "I'm.. t-totally.."

Not able to finish her sentence, she passed out right then and there as the adrenaline finally wore off, forcing Noah to pick her up in his arms. "Shit!"

"We should take her home.."

"No.." Noah quickly turned Lola's request down. "You stay here and take care of your sister, Vic and I can take her home."

Agreeing with the plan, Vic scooped up the rest of the blue dust into another vial, both boys leaving the house as Lola stayed behind to take care of the rest, fixing the window and finding their mother, who had also been attacked with some blue dust.

Why were things so crazy in this town right now..?
