Cameron Chandler - Initially, Soren and his son were close until it became clear he was never getting powers. As such, the two grew apart with Soren verbally and emotionally abusing his only son for being "powerless" and "not living to his namesake." However as Soren starts influencing Cameron's behavior and essentially bring the worst traits out of him, this will actually bring Soren and Cameron closer since Cameron's new personality will resemble his father.

Personality:
Soren is a visionary individual who strives to find a greater purpose in life. Once he is committed to a goal, he will stop at nothing to obtain his desires. As such, Soren has no problem with betraying those 'close' to him as he'll always put his priorities first above others [especially in face-value situations].

Because of the mage's desire to succeed, Soren is never, truly satisfied with anything that he has nor does he bother to cherish the relationships that he has, simply believing people will come to respect his role more if he would to rule and ascend to the throne as their sole ruler and King.

As a result, Soren has a tendency of overlooking the important details when thinking of the bigger picture at once, which will lead the human mage into unforeseen situations with catastrophic consequences.

In Little Sister: Briana's Story [written by Sci-Briana17], Soren exhibits some of these characteristics above (to a certain extent). In hindsight, Soren thinks he's a genius and resorts to undermining those beneath him on a regular basis, believing his superiority will always come out on top.

1. For Little Sister: Briana's Story [written by Sci-Briana17], Soren Chandler will be fully human with no powers or abilities (his choice of weapon is still undetermined), but for my version of the character, Soren Chandler will serve as a human mage, who threw himself into the arts of dark magic.

As such, his desire to pursue the dark arts and the easier access to magic led him into contact with Erebus, the god of darkness [one of my characters, more information on the Avalonian god coming soon]. Through Erebus's staff, Soren serves as the inactive vessel for him until the god of darkness is ready to use him [not that Soren has a clue about this yet].

2. Soren does not (and will not) have a love interest after his disastrous marriage with Sunset Shimmer, because he is primarily focused on ruling over his "kingdom" alone, not wanting to share the power with anyone else. He has this mindset as he believes he would eventually be betrayed by his lover or the two would fight for control.

3. Soren does not care for his son! He is solely interested in using Cameron for his own purposes, shaping his son into the kind of person he can admire [which is his way of essentially making Cameron into a younger version of himself]. As such, if there are similarities between the two, this is the reason.

4. Sunset Shimmer is not included, because although he married her and she served as his wife before the divorce happened, Soren hardly cared about her in the first place as she contributed little to no purpose in the greater scheme of his plans.

5. Furthermore, the only reason Cameron is listed as his sole family member mainly comes from the way his son will become the version of him he always envisioned, hence why he is the only one listed.
