It's been a couple days since vivienne and chris shared their 'first' date in his favorite café and she's had to deal with a lot of articles as well as instagram posts regarding their sudden closeness. this is probably the main reason that she dislikes being a famous actress; she can't even hang out with someone without receiving backlash but she'll forever be grateful for everything and everyone who helped her get here.

but with the two of them spending time together in la—even if it was just a couple hours—they haven't had another date yet. they've been waiting for everything to simmer down before, instead substituting hangouts for facetime calls and snapping each other. it doesn't feel the same after the enjoyable time they had, but it's better than nothing.

also unfortunately, vivienne is in new york with her friends, staying in an apartment rented by her manager, demitra. she's only here for to be on the jimmy fallon show, filmed a couple days ago, and it went pretty great. the three of them are due to fly back to la soon; the end of the week to be exact, but they've been having so much fun.

vivienne sits cross legged in front of the mirror in her temporary bedroom, brushing through her tangled hair after sleeping without braiding it. her cat purrs from her lap while nuzzling her head on vivienne's thigh. from where she's sat, vivienne can hear eleanor and malcolm bickering about what to get for breakfast.

however, all vivienne is thinking about is chris so she places her brush down on the carpeted floor, instead substituting it for her phone. she holds the device in front of her face, unlocking it and opening instagram.
