Though initially patient, at some point in time said patience may run thin, which might cause her to overthink and reevaluate a relationship. Though she is in no way fickle, in fact she considers herself to be extremely loyal, she knows when it is best for her to distance herself from those who are not good for her. Juliette most certainly knows her worth and won't let herself and others, especially those she loves be mistreated. Though she prefers to be nice and polite, as she is understanding of peoples background, she herself can become quite mean. Afterwards she will most often feel bad because she let her emotions get the best of her. All in all it can be said that she has a fairly strong moral compass. This is why she hates cheating. She herself would never do it and thus thinks poorly of those who do. If she wins, she wants to win fairly, and if she loses, she'll take it in stride. She loves winning but hates sore winners, which is why she takes care not to brag or gloat. She herself is fairly modest, and not overly proud. While Juliette doesn't see pride as something that is inherently bad, too much pride can cause a person to become arrogant, the best example being most pureblood families. In her opinion false modesty is even worse than arrogance. At least with the arrogant you know where your at. Juliette holds deep hatred for ingenuity and lies, due to the fact that she values honestly so greatly. Fortunately for her she has excellent intuition and can thus usually easily tell if a person is lying.

𝐛𝐚𝐜𝐤𝐬𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐲 ↳ Juliette was born and raised in Manchester, a major city in England, as the oldest child and only daughter of Everett and Valeria Griffin. Her father, who had previously been part of the british pureblood society, was disowned two years prior because he married a foreign halfblood. Therefore, Juliette grew up knowing close to nothing about her father's side of the family. Even though both her parents had to work, she always received more than enough attention and love. Other than that they also taught her that there was nothing more important than communication and honestly. After all miscommunication was the most common reason why people have unnecessary fights. On her 11th birthday she received her first Hogwarts letter. Her father had been almost more excited than she'd been. He himself was a Gryffindor and hoped she'd be sorted into the house of the brave as well. Her mother actually didn't want her to go to Hogwarts at all. In Italy, she'd been tutored at home and Valeria thought Juliette should be too. After a lot of convincing from her father, Julie was aloud to go. Once in the great hall, the speaking hat had major trouble sorting her into a house. As it turned out she fit into Hufflepuff and Gryffindor about equally well. It took the hat 6 minutes to place her into Hufflepuff, which made her a hat stall. Being the social butterfly that she was she quickly made friends in both her house and all the others. In her second year Juliette became the older sister to Jeremy and James, two mischievous little boys whose only hobby it was to cause trouble. They were 2 years old when the Griffin family adopted them. Juliette knew she'd kill and die for them the moment she saw them for the first time. A couple of years later during the summer vacation before her fifth year she was notified that she was chosen to be her years Hufflepuff prefect, something that filled her and her family with pride. With the position also came certain duties. These amongst other things included doing rounds every other night to keep people from sneaking around the castle. The sixth year Slytherin prefect Alexei Rosier was assigned to be her partner. They got along almost immediately. They had the same interests, the same hobbies and the same attitude towards life. In no time they weren't just doing patrols together but we're also meeting each other after classes. They became friends and by the end of the year of her fifth year they were officially a couple. Even though his parents didn't particularly liked her, due to the fact that she was a halfblood, they tolerated her. By the time Alexei had graduated there were talks about a possible engagement between the two. They were deeply in love. Slowly at first, Juliette noticed that her boyfriend was starting to change. He'd make condescending comments about muggles, about how the world wizarding community should come out of hiding and start a war with the the non-magical one. It was his aunt Vinda Rosier, Grindewald's most trusted acolyte, that put those thoughts inside his head. Over time Alexei became more and more radical. Juliette, who had never believed that she was better than the muggles simply because she could use magic, found herself fighting with her boyfriend more and more often. In a last attempt to convince her of his cause, Alexei brought her to one of Grindewald's meetings. Why she had agreed to it, Juliette doesn't remember. There she met the dark wizard in person, even exchanged one or two sentences with him. Alexei was the one who did most of the talking. She listened. What she heard made her sick. Rather than convince her of Grindewald's cause all Alexei had done was make her hate it even more, made her hate him. In the presence of Grindelwald and his acolytes she was careful to mask her emotions: the fear, hatred, and disgust that she felt. She couldn't keep her emotions in check when they brought in the muggle family whose house they were using. She couldn't keep her emotions in check when said family was murdered. She couldn't keep her emotions in check when Alexei slapped her because she didn't stop crying. Up to this day she doesn't know why Grindelwald had let her walk out of there, but she swore to herself that she would make him regret it.

Any type of rose, especially white ones. Fire whiskey. Alchemy. Unexpected loud sounds and people trying to scare her. Clouds and cold climate.

𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐠𝐭𝐡𝐬 ✧ Juliette is a great communicator and mediator, capable of solving conflicts between two or more parties. She is also usually very good under pressure and is able to keep her emotions in check. There are rare exceptions to this. Though only mediocre with offensively used spells, her knowledge and experience with defensively used ones is considerate. Healing magic is something she is naturally skilled at. She has honed said skill with hours and hours of practice at St. Mungo's.

𝐰𝐞𝐚𝐤𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐞𝐬 & 𝐟𝐥𝐚𝐰𝐬 ✧ Juliette for one is a terrible liar. This is because the importance of honesty was taught to her early on. She has also never had any reason to lie to her parents which is why she never got any practice. Thus she most probably wouldn't be able to get herself out of a precarious situation through lying. Moreover, Juliette can be quite naive at times. She is someone who gives others a second chance. Then a third, a fourth and a fifth one. In short, Juliette is too nice for her own good.

Arachnophobia - This is a specific phobia brought about by the irrational fear of spiders and other arachnids such as scorpions. She doesn't have a specific reason to feel this way, she simply finds them to be disgusting.
Trypanophobia - This is the fear of medical procedures involving injections or hypodermic needles. As a young child her fear of needles was even more extreme and has since lessened. She still feels uncomfortable though.

𝐡𝐚𝐛𝐢𝐭𝐬 ✧ Juliette usually carries a charmed journal with her which only she can open or write in. In it she writes her plans for the day, her daily affirmations and other stuff. Though her goal is to wake up at 5:30 everyday (including on weekends) she usually continues to sleep for at least half an hour. She has a morning and an evening routine she tried to stick to. For the last three months she has managed to do that fairly well. In class and conversations she tends to speak louder than the average person. Not so much as to disturb the people around her but enough for people to notice. When she is drunk that is even more the case.

𝐩𝐞𝐭 ( 𝐬 ) ✧ she is the owner of a male Blakiston's Fish Owl named 'sunshine'. The owl is in fact really mean, and likes to scratch and bite people. Julie and him get along as long as she gives him treats. Her family also owns a three year old Boxer named "Hercules" and a ten month old American Stafford Terrier named "Lucy".

• she tried to become a vegetarian in her fourth year despite loving meat but only lasted for about two weeks.
• in her seventh year she is part of a work experience program operated by St. Mungo's for students who wish to become Healers after graduation.
