[𝚈/𝚗'𝚜 𝙿.𝙾.𝚅]

 The only thing I could hear after waking up was the steady pace of my heartbeat, all the sound of yelling was blurred out, a sudden high pitched sound made me flinch. 'Ah.. Dang, my head hurts.. 'I thought as I tried opening my eyes, but flinched again as the sunlight got in them. I tried to cover my face with my hand only to realize that both of them were bound together by ropes. 

The sensation of tiny pins and needles flooding my legs were enough to tell me that I had been in a kneeling position for too long. The side of my neck where I was struck on was slightly throbbing, whoever hit me hit me with strength. Suddenly, I heard a loud snapping sound in my ear, making all the sound from the outside become agonizingly loud. "Ow.." I whispered as I opened my eyes once again and looked around. 

The sound was blurred out again, everything seemed to be moving in slow motion and spinning as I saw that there was a crowd surrounding me, people were yelling and pointing. Most were angry, others were yelling with excitement. I moved my head to the side where Ariya and Hima were. They were, again, being held back by people. Their expressions showed they were scared and angry. By what was happening; the people's expressions and both Ariya's and Hima's, I could tell something bad was about to happen. 

I felt a strong kick on my side, making my body tilt to the other side, resulting in me falling to the ground. The kick didn't hurt much, but what really hurt was the rope that tied my hands together. The knot was tight, making the rope aggressively scrape against my bare skin and bruising it. I visibly winced, inhaling air through my teeth as my brows furrowed together.

"L/n D. Y/n, Daughter of one of the most infamous and dangerous pirates, L/n D. M/n is now banished.." I snapped my head to look at the man who was speaking, shock clear in my eyes as I listened. "..as punishment for hurting and threatening our Mayor's lovely daughter, Yasmin Bratteau." 

'..That's my full name?..Mother was an infamous pirate? So that's why they all freaked out after meeting me.. But.. Why can't I remember..? What was mother like..? ' I thought, drowning into my mind as thoughts flooded in. I couldn't remember. All I could remember was eating a weird looking fruit with terrible taste, then a fire and someone putting me into the basket I was in when I first got to Yiknal island. I couldn't remember anything else. 

Suddenly, someone yanked on the rope I was tied in, lifting me from my laying position on the ground and forcing me to walk bare foot. The small rocks on the floor were sharp, some of them would pierce my feet, making me wince. Not only that but the person would keep on yanking on the rope, making my wrists burn and begin to bleed. The walk we had was short, but time seemed to slow down as we walked closer to the small boat at each second. 

I had seen at least one banishment in this island, and I knew that this was definitely not what the boat was supposed to look like. From what I had seen, the boat was meant to have a pillow, blanket, some food and pure water. My boat, only had two pieces of bread, and a small jar with water in it. There was no pillow or blanket. Did these people not realize that I'm literally 6? Seeing how parents around me act with their children who are either the same age or older than me, I know that I, as a 6 year old, should not be treated like this. 

"Why are you people like this?! Y/n never did anything to you guys!" "Exactly! She's only 6 years old, she's a kid!" Both Hima and Ariya argued from the crowd, then a third voice came in. "You're all complete cowards! You know she won't do anything because she's kind and warm-hearted!" The third voice said, and I recognized it to be Arthur's. 

"Guys! It's okay, you'll just get into more trouble and I don't want that.." I said, smiling a slightly bitter smile. " I don't care if we get in trouble, Y/n! You're about to get banished out to the ocean on a tiny boat to God knows where for something that isn't even your fault! You don't deserve it! You should stop worrying about others and begin worrying about yourself and your current situation damnit!" Ariya yelled back, her voice was filled with anger. "Ariya! I'm telling you not to worry about me! Really, it's okay!" 'Damnit.. I don't want them to get in trouble because of me, I could die for all I care but as long as they're safe.' I thought, pursing my mouth as I looked down, the person guiding me then tugged on the rope once more, then tilted their head towards the boat. 

"Get on, you'll be leaving soon." The person said, their voice was soft and they sounded like a young woman. I began moving towards it, putting one leg inside. As soon as my leg made contact, the boat wobbled in a manner that almost made me fall. The person who guided me held me and the boat to balance us so that I could get in without falling. 

As I got in completely and sat down, I closed my eyes and looked up at the person, smiling and thanking them for helping me. When I opened my eyes, I expected to see a disgusted or angry face, but the woman who helped me had a sad expression, her soft jade green eyes glistened in the sunlight, she looked like she was about to cry, she had her mouth pursed, as if she was trying to hold it back, her beautiful red hair blew lightly in the wind. "You're just 6.. You're too young to be getting kicked out and you're not even mad about it? How can you thank me and give such a pure smile..?" She whispered, her voice wavered and she looked at me with saddened eyes. "Because it's not your fault this is happening to me, it's Yasmin's. You're helping me and you aren't treating me like a monster, you're a good person.. you're very pretty too, I hope that if I survive this, I become as pretty as you are." I answered, smiling once more as I faced her. 

[𝙽𝚘 𝚘𝚗𝚎'𝚜 𝙿.𝙾.𝚅]

"What the hell are you guys whispering over there?! Get on with it! Amiele, don't tell me you're beginning to pity that monster?!" Someone from the crowd yelled. Amiele, the woman with Y/n, flinched. She looked down at the so called 'monster' everyone yelled about. She didn't see it. All she saw was a child. A helpless, precious child that needed protection and love, she didn't see a monster at all. She wanted to help, she wanted to take the child away and protect her from all these terrible beings that wanted to harm her. She wanted to love her. But she couldn't, she had to do this, no matter how much she didn't want to. And even if she did try and save her, they would have nowhere to go. She couldn't help, no matter how much she wanted to, she couldn't.

Closing her eyes and taking a deep breath, she gathered enough courage to push the boat out to see. She didn't want to see it drift away, but she could hear it. She felt terrible, she felt that she had done something horrible. When she opened her eyes, she saw the girl drifting away in the small boat, with a smile on her features. The girl's eyes showed no hate, and they were enough to melt a person's heart.

I smiled at the woman as I drifted away. Her face was sad, and I could tell that she felt guilt. I didn't blame her though, it wasn't her fault my mother was one of the most infamous pirates in the world, the L/n D. M/n. Before I noticed, I was already far from shore. 

'I'm sorry.. Ariya.. Hima.. Arthur.. I'll miss you guys so much. Maybe I'll die here, and if I do, I'm glad I met you guys.. I love you all.. 'I thought, there was a heavy weight in my chest as my chin dipped down, and before I knew it, hot, salty tears rolled down my face as I furrowed my brows, anguish swallowing me as I felt hopeless. Hima and Ariya were the only friends that loved me. They were my family. And now, I was never going to see them ever again. 

"Y/N!" Someone from the shore yelled, at this time, I was already at the other side of the island so whoever it was definitely ran quickly to reach where I was. I looked up and, although it was blurry because of my tears, I could see that it was Ariya, along with Hima and Arthur right beside her. "Y/N COME BACK! PLEASE!" Her voice was loud, but it sounded like she was crying. "ARIYA! I CAN'T!" I yelled back, my voice breaking a bit. "PLEASE, DON'T LEAVE ME Y/N!" She yelled, desperation clear in her voice as she cried. "N/N! PLEASE DON'T LEAVE US! YOU CAN'T! YOU'RE OUR ONLY FAMILY!" A higher pitched voice yelled, belonging to Hima. "I'M SORRY.. I LOVE YOU GUYS..! I won't forget you all!" I yelled back. The boat I was on drifting farther and farther. "PROMISE ME YOU WON'T EVER FORGET ME!" I yelled as I looked at them. Ariya had fallen to her knees and I could see her bending down to the floor. Hima had her head down, and you could see she was clenching her fists tightly. 

'You guys.. You're my family. I swear.. I'll never forget you.. No matter how much time passes, you'll always be my family, and we'll always be sisters.' I thought as I sat back down. Preparing for a long journey.

I sighed as I grew tired of looking out to the distance, where Hima, Ariya , and Arthur once stood, and where I could once see Yiknal Island. I looked inside the boat, and I saw something that wasn't there before. My basket. I grabbed it and looked inside, there, I found a small paper that stated my date of birth, and my last name. My last name.. The thing that ruined my life. Should I really keep it? All its brought to me was misfortune. I turned my head and looked at the sea, I thought of throwing it in, but maybe it'll be useful to me in the future. I don't know. 

Suddenly, something caught my eye as I put the things away. Dark thunder clouds approached, the lightning emitting from them striking loudly and brightly. A storm was coming. I could feel it deep down, and it was gonna be bad. I turned my head to try and find a way to get out, but I couldn't find one. Suddenly, a water droplet tapped my head. 'Shoot.' Then another, then another. And before I knew it, it was pouring like crazy. 'I've gotta get out of here.. But how? 'I thought as I looked around. All I saw was water. The once calm ocean was now getting more agitated, creating waves and moving me and my boat around. The waves began getting bigger and bigger, suddenly, I felt something strong coming from behind. 

Behind me was the biggest, scariest wave I had ever seen. It was almost four times my size. I held onto the edge of the small boat as the wave came down at full strength, drowning me and my tiny boat as it came. 

The impact broke my boat to pieces, but I held onto the piece as it began to float up, taking me with it. I gasped for air and held on for dear life on the wooden plank as I felt weak once again. I barely opened my eyes, and saw the basket with all the information about me. I reached out, something told me it was important to have in the future, if I even survived. I grabbed onto it, and made sure to hold on tightly as I shut my eyes and hoped to survive this. 

'..Whatever the future holds, I hope it isn't bad.. But for now, I have a good feeling about this.. '
