Ok today is the day, it's gonna be a great day and I will NOT die! Charlie said to wear something fitting. Ok, Black pants, gray long sleeve shirt, and of course my converse that I've had for a million years. Hopefully Abby will be ok hanging with the boys all day. It's already Saturday, the week went so fast. The rest of the week had been uneventful, but definitely not boring! But I am not focusing on last week, I am so excited, tomorrow I am either going to have an Avis or be dead.

"Are you ready?" Charlie asked as we stood on the dock by the beach.
"As I'll ever be" I answered putting my hands on my hips.
"Elorah! We have not talked about this!!!" Sam screamed sprinting down the stairs on the side of the cliff.
"Oh shit let's go" me and Charlie run down the dock and leaped into the huge wooden boat with everyone else, including Belladonna, Charlie's Avis was laying on the deck calmly.
"Ellie WAIT!" Jack yelled following Sam.
"Professor Alcon, let's hit the seas!" Charlie yelled to the stocky man standing at the steering wheel.
"Ok you all better sit down!" He shouted starting up the engine with a roar. We quickly sat down next to the other girl, she looked South American, black hair and tan skin. The boat jumped into motion as Sam reached the dock running after them. We rode the waves for about 20 minutes before hundreds of sea stacks started coming into view.
"I need to go slow in this area very rocky, don't want to sink" Alcon chuckles looking back at us.
"Thank you professor" Charlie says standing up.
"Ellie this is Camila, she is a 6th year wanting to join the team" after that Charlie explained what we were going to do, then we reached a sea stack close to the middle. Looking up, I saw hundreds of Avis flying and climbing around the sea stacks. It was like a rainbow was shattered, its bits flying everywhere. We slow to a stop at tall thick sea stack, with stairs carved into the stone.
"Ellie came on" Charlie called, starting up stairs.

I am gasping for air as we reached an alcove in the stone, so was Camila who was sitting on the ground. I haven't really talked to her but all the things that has come out of her mouth are passive aggressive and rude. Charlie put down her backpack and walked on the narrow cliff edge and looked around the corner.
"Hey guys come look at this!" She called back to us. Charlie came back so I slowly walked, pressing my back to the wall, I looked down and felt nauseous. We were so high, one slip and I would fall, fall, and fall. Until hitting the water and ripping into 17 different pieces. I shoved that image down and looked around the corner. There were maybe a hundred Avis of many different colors on this huge sea stack. They were of all shapes and sizes too.
"Ok Camila you're up, are you ready?" she stood up confidently grabbing the rope from Charlie's hands.
"Of course I'm ready" she said rudely.
"Wait let me go over this again, Camila wait" Charlie says but she didn't listen. Camila walked on the cliff's edge pressing her back to the wall, Charlie groaned and made a really weird sound with her mouth that kind of sounded like a bird, a seconds later Bella came up hovering, her back facing us. Charlie backed up and sprinted jumping and grabbing Bella's saddle. She pulled herself up, clipped her feet in and flew away. I was astonished, that was now the craziest thing I've ever seen. All of a sudden there was a loud high pitched roar. I couldn't see what was happening but I could hear growls and roars, then screaming as Bella dove for something falling from the cliff. The thing falling off the cliff was Camila! Bella caught her as her limp body fell, she brought her back down to the boat. I went to my hands and knees to look at what was happening. It was too far for me to see, but Charlie turned around and flew back up landing with a thump.
"What happened?" I asked, standing up as Charlie got off.
"Avis flung her off she hit the side of the cliff before falling off, broken arm, definitely broken back, probably broken ribs to" she said like it was nothing.
"You know nobody is going judge you if you back out now" she added tilting her head.
"No absolutely not, I can do this" I say angry grabbing the rope.
"Ok ok sorry. Just don't die please" Charlie said genuinely upset. I felt bad now.
"I'll be ok, tell me what to do again"

I walked around the corner and all eyes were focused on me, as I walked in slow motion, I got growls and high pitched noises. My heart pounded, any of these things could rip my head off. THAT ONE!, I screamed in my head as a beautiful capri blue Avis with royal blue stripes and spots, and light yellow accents. Stepped in front of me hissing and growling. It flicked its tail and paced in front of me, lowering its head.
"Come on!" I called trying to get it to attack me. It was working, I got the rope ready.
"COME ON BITCH!!" I yelled and the Avis charged with a high roar, I jumped out of the way, the rope just missing its neck, then running to the opposite side. It charged again, this time I turned sideways at the last second, roping the Avis neck, like a lasso. The Avis roared, whipping me around ripping my pants and scraping my thigh on the ground. it accidentally jerked me onto its back. It's boney spine hit my chest. That's gonna leave a bruise. The Avis started jumping and jerking, making me fly up and slam back down. It then suddenly jumped off the cliff diving towards the ocean, then at the last second it pulled up and started flying loops and barrel rolls to try to shake me off. All I focused on was holding onto the rope. My arms ached and rope burns were starting to form on the palms of my hands. I was too scared to scream, too scared to move.
"BREATHING HOLES!!!!!" I heard someone yell. I remembered and ripped my hand from the rope, slamming my hand onto the top of the opening where it was breathing. It freaked out screaming and jerking more than ever.
"FUCK YOU SHITTY ASS ANIMAL!!!!" I screamed enraged. I had enough, I needed to get my other hand on the other breathing hole without falling off. The Avis stopped moving in exhaustion so I took the opportunity. I moved my hand from the rope to the breathing hole in one swift motion. But the second the Avis felt me move it started thrashing again, I got on my knees as best as I could. Still gripping the breathing holes.
"SHUT UP AND FLY STRAIGHT" I screamed as I yanked up on the breathing holes. The Avis stopped thrashing the second I pulled up on the holes. I sat there as the Avis glided through the sea stacks.
"You can let go" Charlie said calmly, coming up beside me. I slowly slid my shaky hands into my lap.
"Now grab the antennas and steer back to the boat" Charlie says turning.
I grab the antennas and pulled on the right one, the Avis banked right. I smiled and pulled left, in banked left, I steered back to the boat, Charlie was there.
"Umm I don't know how to land" I tell her.
"I know, just take your hand and push down lightly on its neck" Charlie demonstrates. I mimic her, and the Avis dove towards the boat landing hard, flipping me over its head. I landed on my back which knocked the wind out of me.
"We'll work on that" Charlie laughed standing over me like Angelica did after I killed the husk. I rolled my eyes and got up. I stepped and fell from a sharp pain in my knee.
"Are you okay?" Charlie helped me to a bench.
"I'm fine, just hurt my knee" I say tired, the adrenaline wearing off.
"Ok just sit and rest, that was a lot to handle" Charlie insisted.
My Avis was standing there nervously, Bella was sitting calmly at the front of the boat, and Camilla was at the side of the stairs on a mat looking bloody and unconscious. Professor Alcon came over to me.
"I'm glad you didn't die, I like you, you're a cool young lady" he said putting his huge hands on my shoulders.
"I think I am more happy I didn't die" I chuckled. All of a sudden the Avis shrieked, I turned around to see Charlie trying to rope my Avis.
"Hey hey it's ok! Calm yourself" I say to the Avis. I softly calmed it down while Charlie through another rope around it and tied it to the side of the boat. After about 30 minutes I had the Avis laying down resting, and then departed back to the school.
"So what are you going to say to the boys when we get back?" Charlie asked, leaning on the railing next to me.
"Oh yeah, I don't know" I sigh.
"I mean you left without them knowing, and it's weird, Sam seems really protective of you, it's weird, ever cross your mind that he likes you?" She asked. Sam doesn't like me, he just knows more than I would like about my past.
"He doesn't, but you and Kitty on the other hand" I smirked.
"Shut up you know nothing!" Charlie punched my arm hard.
