𝙁𝙤𝙧 Wrenley, death was a challenge. A game to be won. A chase that never stops. She's been on the cusp of it many times, yet it never chooses her as its next victim.
𝙒𝙧𝙚𝙣𝙡𝙚𝙮 𝘽𝙖𝙞𝙧𝙙 welcomed death with open arms, like a mother giving her child a hug, hoping desperately to someday be chosen by the dark mask.
𝘾𝙖𝙞𝙪𝙨 𝙎𝙣𝙤𝙬 feared death. Every year he watched twenty three deaths televised as a show for the Capitol's pleasure. He knew all too comfortably that it would never be him, but the idea of not knowing how he would go instead haunted him even more.
𝕰𝖛𝖊𝖗𝖞 year he watched, trying to convince himself of his grandfather's words that the district people are paying their dues, earning their punishment. That is until he was fourteen years old and he watched a thirteen year old girl cry and sing herself to sleep, scream for her mother, and kill those older than her to survive. That's when he knew what he had always felt, that the Games weren't right, and those in Arena were only children, just like him.
