a dangerous thing if you're close

• so, try to stay far away, and if you
can't, well, just learn to play his

• very unsympathetic towards

• does harbor love for people but
the people he loves tend to be
deceased
• for instance, sometimes he misses
some of his past wives. well, your
royal highness, maybe you shouldn't
have killed them

• the future seventh queen of elyria

but they're waiting for the execution

at politics either
• she doesn't know how to play the
game very well. if the king doesn't
die soon, he's going to have her
killed. beauty won't get you that
far with him. you have to have a
perfect personality too
• even the smart wives didn't last,
ya know?
• she's not manipulative and that
might just be her downfall
• a very honest & kind girl
• a little reserved & timid in large
crowds but it very outgoing in
smaller groups
• loves dogs a lot so she has quite
a few (and expect some new additions)
• plans to mimic the third wife since she
was the only one who didn't live long
enough for the king to find someone
better to wed
• but it seems this girl's not aware
of the fact that she wasn't even his
favorite. his fifth bride was
• such a silly girl, truly
• prepare for the king to paint her
as a monster when times call for

• optimistic but realistic
• he plays his part and though
he'd like to help the king's new
bride, he'd rather not risk his
own head
• he's a widower — his wife
died several years ago
• his wife was a homosexual
and he only married to save
her from a marriage with
someone who she wouldn't
be able to love
• comes off as pretty passive
but is very strategic
• he is not the hand of the king
but he behaves much like one
at times
• doesn't have any intentions of

• so have fun dealing with that
hoe's outrageous mood swings
• knows her way around swords
and daggers
• an assassin, mostly
• most female assassins are either
seducers or get in get out killers
• she's the slit your throat and run
kind of killer
• she doesn't have the words to be
the conniving, actress type
• plus, there's less of a risk of dying
• awkward relationship with the
lady of vipers (platonic ofc, i
don't mean romantic relationships

THE LADY OF VIPERS

• the youngest of her siblings
• her mother died of labor

• it seems the only exceptions were
their mother and their late sister
• not at all like her late sister, reina

• the king's disappointed about
that
• a widow. her husband died fast

• who knows if she killed him?
• a bit bitter & a little cynical
• has a temper on her but it doesn't
cause anyone any actual harm

• doesn't seem to care for paint
me as the villain but she does
in her own way even if she tries

FAMILY, DUTY, HONOR

• the daughter of the king and
his first wife
• it took years but after it was
exposed that her father bribed
the head of the sedei to annul
his marriage to her mother,
she was reinstated as a legitimate
and lawful child of the king
• her mother was assassinated
before she could be reinstated
as the rightful queen, though
• a dutiful girl
• she has very strong morals
and opinions and isn't afraid
to speak her mind
• a little haughty & arrogant
• always holds her head high
• a daddy's girl, surprisingly
• she is very much a momma's
girl but she's dead and she's
a big family person so,,,
• a figure some people respect
and a figure others resent
• they don't understand how
she's able to forgive her father
so they chalk it up to her either
being dumb or just that into
family bonds
• she's honestly just scared. there's
no stability in her life
• sometimes snaps and lashes out
at people in her rare moments of
vulnerability
• gets along best with her aunt,
the lady of vipers

• the crown prince of elyria
• aka he's set to inherit the throne
from his father once he dies. then,
unless he has children, his heir
would be his older sister
• a little flippant at times
• there are five princesses that
have traveled to elyria to "court
him"
• basically just royal marriage
proposal bs
• he's interested but he also doesn't
care that much
• he'd rather choose his lover based
off of destiny
• certainly the person he'll end up
falling in love with won't be someone
who he's been arranged to marry
• luckily he's got a choice in the matter
• resents his father but doesn't hate
him
• doesn't get along with khalidan
winter but his father likes her so . . .
• gets along well with his soon-to-
be step-mother. they're a cute little
duo
• it's weird because they're the same
age
• a charismatic, humorous, &
calm kind of guy
• he's not quick to anger & he
isn't overly sensitive but he
hates it when people trash talk
any of his father's former wives.
he liked them all, really. they were
all good mothers and friends to him
• he's especially sensitive about his
father's fifth wife. they were really
good friends and she was a couple
of years older than him. he misses her
& the others a lot
• but oh well bc we ain't dealing with
any vulnerability here, guys 🤡

• the last surviving child the king
has had
• the only living child of the king's
second wife—eliya lynesse
• not seen as a legitimate heir
considering her mother's marriage
to her father was labeled as fraudulent
• and her mother was executed for
treason and adultery so that also
wiped away her claim to the throne
• however, her father does recognize
her as his child and as a princess
• she just isn't recognized by the
prominent religious figures of
the sedeis
• seems very bubbly & sweet
• but boy, she can be very bitter
at times
• is willing to die nobly for a
worthless cause ngl
• comes off as gentle & foolish
and yes, she is kind of gentle,
and she is a bit of a fool for
love but she's more than she
seems
• she inherited her mother's clever
wit—but she's careful with her
words
• she's quite manipulative, too,
although i'd say she's more likely
to be manipulated than to
manipulate someone else
