in a medieval time period and therefore
it will include some sensitive topics. i've
decided to include just about everything
that shows up even if it appears or is
mentioned only once or twice so some
of this stuff is very minor but just in
case, you know? lastly, none of this stuff
is meant to be romanticized (except for
the few not bad ones ig) but i'd say just
think of this as a (much?) tamer version
of game of thrones. some of these
characters are fighting against more
than just the king, after all.

✵ classic medieval sexism — i promise it won't be too insane tho. however, there are some countries where sexism & homophobia are either nonexistent or are simply less prevalent, so you'll see a clash of ideals here.

✵ mentions of some darker topics — nongraphic but just to put it out there that things like physical, sexual, mental, or verbal abuse might be mentioned but not roleplayed or shown. usually something like this is mentioned when referring to the past or when spoken of in rumors. i'm only putting this here just in case bc these things may be mentioned. as of now, these things are only being mentioned in one information chapter and on the rules page (to clarify some things) but yeah, just read the rules regarding sensitive topics.

✵ age differences in relationships — the ones being roleplayed here are all between characters 18 & older. and though not roleplayed or shown, the age of marriage here is, at minimum, 16. now, minors can have relationships with other minors but i'm mentioning this because there is a mention on one of the info chapters of two characters under 18 being married to someone over 18. their ages were 17 and 16 respectively and i just wanted to let you guys know this beforehand.

lastly, just as a disclaimer, most of this stuff mentioned here isn't supposed to be fun but we've made sure that these things won't be overbearing or extreme. however, this stuff all serves as things characters are working to take down (ex. sexism, homophobia) but if you are too uncomfortable to go through with this roleplay then we completely understand. there's no pressure to join and there's no hard feelings; we just feel that it'd be very gratifying to reach a good resolution where things do work out.
