i. harry blowing up his aunt
It was late at night. It was calm. All except at 4 Privet Drive, there it was mayhem.
Harry had blown up his aunt after she had made some comments about his parents and then his godfather Sirius who he had just been starting to get to know the past 7 months.
"You bring her back! You bring her back right now!" Vernon screamed in his face trapping Harry from walking down the stairs.
"No," Harry denies, "She deserves what she got!" He remarks with a sly smirk on his face.
Vernon who wasn't happy with the boys answer, screamed in his face and attempts to grab Harry by the shoulders before harry whips out his wand at points it at his uncles neck for protection.
"You better get away from me." Harry threatens causing vernon to back away in despair while harry walks towards him still holding up his wand.
"You're not allowed to do magic outside of school." The man reminds the boy making harrys smirk falter before making it grow again.
"Oh yeah? Try me." He says making the man shiver with fear looking at the wand that's point down to his neck.
"They won't let you back now," Vernon reminds, composing himself, "you've got no where to go." He finishes with a big smirk on his face pointing his finger to the boys face.
"I don't care, anywheres better then here." He retorts, nodding at his aunt and cousin that are watching the fight happen before storming out the house.
Harry runs out the house before finding himself at the park that's near his aunt and uncles house. He puts down his luggage and sits down on the pavement putting his head in his hands trying to catch his breath.
He looks up to see the lamppost above him flickering and the playground equipment behind him moving on its own due the wind picking up. He furrows his brows before hearing a twig snap from in front of him so he looks forward.
Through the bushes there is a dog. It looks like his godfathers animagus but smaller and brown. He turns his head to the side before moving forward to see it more clearly. The dogs eyes soften at the sight of him when suddenly a noise comes from down the street making the dog start to growl at him causing him. Harry stands up with fright, holding his wandย in front for protection but before he could do anything, he was knocked to the floor.
Harry quickly looked up, coming face to face with the Knight Bus and there stood a man, holding a piece of parchment in front of him, starting to read out what's on it,"Welcome to the night bus, emergency transport for the stranded witch or wizard," Harry sits up whilst the man continues his speech, "My name is Stan Shunpike, and I will be your conductor for this evening." The man Harry has now found out is called Stan finishes.
The man puts his note back into his front pocket before looking down at the young boy with glasses.
Stan looks at Harry confused, "What you doing down there?" He questions.
"I fell over..?" Harry replies as if it was obvious, gesturing to his fallen position.
"Whatchu fell over for?" He asked the boy in the same tone of confusion, Harry rolling his eyes in return.
"I didn't do it on purpose!" He defends himself, standing up trying to avoid anymore hassle.
"Well come on then," the man exclaimed, waving his hand urging the boy to go onto the bus, "Let's not wait for the grass to grow!"
Harry was about to do as told but before, he remembered the incident before the bus came. Harry looked over to where the animal he once saw was just for nothing to be there. Harry doesn't notice Stan walking behind him, looking down at the boy then to where Harry was looking.
"Whatchu lookin' at?" He questions the boy, Harry jumping at the sudden voice but he soon replies.
Harry looked back again, staring at the empty space of nothing except the bushes, "Nothing." He says after a moment of silence, ignoring the question.
"Well come on then," The man says with exasperation, "In." He points inside the bus, rolling his eyes when Harry moved to grab his luggage, the man quickly declining, "No, no I'll get that," He said to the boy, picking up the luggage, "You, get in." He repeats the statement to Harry with a stern look as if he were speaking to a three year old which made Harry do as he is told with a small nod.
He goes onto the train taking in what he can see. There's a man on the bed where he slowly but quickly moves past before going to the end where Shunpike showed him to go, before being given his ticket by the man.
Shunpike knocks on the window before saying, "Take her away Ern."
The small face repeats what the man said "Yeah! Take her away Ernie!" Making the driver sit up and get ready to drive, "It's going to be a bumpy ride!" The small face continues with a large laugh when the bus starts to drive quickly making harry fall into the bed behind him.
"What did you say your name was again?" Stan Shunpike wonders, pointing at the boy with glasses.
"I didn't!" Harry shouts trying to match the volume of the bus.
"Whereabouts are you headed?" Shunpike moves his head to the side continuing the conversation with the boy.
"The leaky cauldron," harry says, "that's in London." He finishes explaining making the man he is talking to smirk.
"D'you hear that Ern?" He asks moving closer to the window, "The leaky cauldron that's in London" he repeats what harry said finding it funny.
"The leaky cauldron. If you have pea soup.. make sure you eat it, before it eats you." the small face jokes causing Shunpike to snigger and the small face to cackle whilst the driver moves faster.
"The Muggles." Harry says whilst looking outside the window, "Can't they see us?" He wonders.
"Muggles?" Shunpike repeats. "They don't see nothin' do they?" He retorts.
"If you jab them with a fork they feel." The small face yells with laughter.
"Ernie little old lady 12 o'clock." The small face says strained causing Harry to look up at the scene with a worried look on his face. The bus stops abruptly causing harry to fall face first onto the window with a smack. Ouch.
"Ten. Nine. Eight. Seven. Six. Five. Four. Three..
Three and a half.. Two. One and three quarters" The small face counts down waiting for the old woman on her walker to pass before speeding up again.
Harry falls back onto the bed before looking up and seeing Stan reading the newspaper. On the front was a woman with dark frizzy hair. She was screaming towards the camera with a slight smirk on her face before being pulled back by guards.
Why does she look so familiar? Harry wonders in his head.
"Who is that?" Harry questions, "That Woman." He continues causing the man reading to look where the boys pointing before looking up at Harry in shock.
"Who is that?" He says with shock, "who is.."
"That is ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐ ๐๐๐๐๐๐," he exclaims, "That is." He finishes whilst putting the paper close to the teenagers face.
"Don't tell me you've never been hearing of Miralette Crouch." He wonders but the boys face of confusion and shake of the head answers his question so he tells him about her.
"She's a murderer," He tells the boy, "got herself locked up in azkaban for it." He says with a small smirk moving his face forward to the boy so he can understand what he's saying.
"Well how did she escape?" Harry says with a bewildered look, turning his head down to see the moving picture of the woman.
"Well that's the question isn't it?" He explains to the boy, "She's the first to ever have done it!" He retorts raising his eyebrows slightly.
"She was a big supporter of.. you-know-who." he tells the boy. "I reckon you've heard of him." He wonders, already knowing the answer to his question.
"Yeahโ him I've heard of." Harry says looking away from the man, his temper rising with the conversation talking about his biggest threat.

Harry ends up at his destination and walks through the door the man shows him, finding hedwig in there causing the teenager to smile largely. "Hedwig!" He exclaims.
"As Minister For Magic, it is my duty to inform you, Mr Potter," Fudge starts whilst looking out the window, "earlier this evening your uncles sister was located a little south of Sheffield, circling a chimney stack." He tells the boy whilst the hunchback man pushes harry into his seat and offers the boy food and for Harry to deny them.
"The accidental magic reversal department was dispatched immediately. She has been properly punctured and her memory modified," the minister continues, "she will have no recollection of the incident whatsoever," fudge exclaims turning aroundย with a smirk, "so that's that โ and no harm done!" He finishes his speech with a large smile on his face holding his arms in the air for a second before putting them down.
"Pea soup?" The man asks the boy but he politely declines.
"Minister?" Harry starts.
"Yes..?" Fudge answers already having an inkling to what the only potter is about to say.
"I don't understand." Harry says causing the man to look up at him.
"Understand?" The man repeats.
"I broke the law. Underaged wizards can't use magic at home?" He reminds the man.
"Come now harry, the ministry don't send people to Azkaban for blowing up their aunts!" He retorts with a large smile finding humour in the situation.
"On the other hand, running away like that, given the state of things, was very very irresponsible." He says suddenly turning stern to the boy.
" 'The state of things' sir?" He says confused what the man is saying.
"We have a killer on the loose!" The man reminds the boy.
"Miralette Crouch." He said, remembering the name the man on the bus called her, "but what's she got to do with me?" He questions leaving the man stuttering with a suspicious laugh.
"Nothing, nothing of course! You're safeโ that's what matters!" He blurts out avoiding the curious stares from the boy. "And tomorrow you'll be on your way back to Hogwarts!"
The hunchback named Tom shows Harry to his room and gives him all the books the minister had ordered for the thankful boy before leaving him alone for the night.
