"Edmund?", Mr. Pevensie asked.
"Hm?", Edmund made a d turned around to face his father.
"Where do you have your flashlight, you know, the one I got for your birthday?"
Edmund froze and looked at his siblings, searching for help. But none of them moved, or said something.
"Uhm, it's in...Narnia", Edmund said, as there was no path to escape this.
Lucy, Peter and Susan stared at him and Edmund could only stare back.
It was silent for a bit.
Say something, Edmund thought.
Please!
"Narnia? Is that a new saying or something? To express that you don't know where something went?"
After shocked moments of silence Peter said:"Yeah...Yeah, that's it."
Mr. Pevensie laughed.
"Narnia...that's quite a beautiful name for that..."

Peter sat in the garden and looked up to the sky.
He would never come back.
He would never come back.
The door of the house opened and his father came outside.
When he saw his son sitting on a bench looking down, he sat down next to him.
"Do you want to talk about it?"
Peter shrugged.
He wanted to, but he couldn't.
How should he explain to his father that he had been an adult once, a king, crowned by a lion in a magical land that they reached through a wardrobe?
"Is it about a girl?"
Peter shook his head.
"Lost your heart in Narnia, huh?", Mr. Pevensie said.
Peter's eyes went wide.
Did he know?
But then he remembered the incident with Edmund's flashlight.
"Yeah", he said quietly. "I lost my heart in Narnia."
