You were staring at him through the window from the outside. You were so lost at staring at his face that you didn't realise that your bestfriend was calling you from a long time.

Jieun: Y/n!!!!!!
You flinched as you blinked your eyes multiple times.
Y/n: Y-Yes? Oh...
Jieun: What are you doing here? And who were you looking at?
She tried to peek through the window but you blocked her view and said.
Y/n: A-Ahh..Nobody. Let's go. We have a singing class now.
Saying you pulled her away from there.

*Time skip*

Your school was now over and you were walking back home with Jieun. You were walking while looking at your feet through the footpath when suddenly Jieun spoke.

Jieun: Are you okay?
You snapped back at her as you quickly nodded trying to put a smile on your face but you failed.
Jieun: Tell me what is it? Is anything bothering you?
You sighed as you shook your head and continued walking.

Jieun: You won't tell me?
You looked back at her as she stopped walking and was looking at you with a worried expression.
Y/n: Text me when you reach home.
Saying you jogged towards your home leaving her alone.
Jieun: Y/n wait!!! Y/n!!!
Before she could follow you were already out of her sight.

You stopped running as you looked at your back to check if Jieun was following but luckily she wasn't. You sighed as you decided to go to your escape place.

You reached there as you were panting heavily because of running so much but suddenly the small smile on your face faded as you saw a boy sitting there staring at the water.

You shouldn't be mad right? It was a public place, anybody could come but you always thought it was your own private property as no one at this time ever comes here. You stomped your feet and walked towards the boy as you were about to call him but you noticed that he was crying.

Your eyes suddenly softened as you saw him sobbing quitely while staring at the water. His back was facing you so you thought of just sitting beside him.

As you took your seat beside him he quickly wiped his tears feeling a presence beside him. You tilted your head as you now clearly saw his face.

Y/n: Jungkook?
You softly called out his name as he widened his eyes and looked at you. Your heart skipped a beat as he looked at you with those doe eyes which were nothing less than drugs to you.

Y/n: W-What are you doing here? And w-why were you crying?

He looked away from you as he realised he was having a long eye contact.
Jk: U-Umm...Nothing.
He was about the stand up but you held his hand preventing him from walking away.

Y/n: Sit.
You commanded him as he sat back at his place not wanting to disobey you.

Y/n: What happened? Why were you crying?
You asked while looking at his face as he was staring at the water.

Jungkook: Why do you want to know?
You were shocked at his reply. He didn't ask it shyly or something rather in a sad and normal tone.

Y/n: U-Uh...Sharing lessens the pain. Maybe if you share the reason with me, you'll feel better?
You said trying to convince him as he chuckled sadly and said.

Jk: Today is the day when my parents abandoned me 7 years ago.
Your heart ached as you looked at him with pity.
A tear drop fell from his eyes as he tried his best to hide it but couldn't.

You didn't know why you felt as if he needed some comfort so you didn't give it and second thought and pulled him in your embrace.

You could say that he was shocked at first but slowly he gave in and hugged you back. Maybe he too needed someone to comfort him. You slowly patted his back as you spoke.

Y/n: It's okay...I'm here. Everything will be fine.
These words seemed like magic pills to him. For the first time he felt that everything will really be fine. He hugged you tighter as he snuggled his face on the crook of your neck as you felt millions of butterflies dancing inside your stomach.

You felt your shoulder getting wet as you parted away and looked at his face which was all red. Eyes puffed, nose red. He looked like a puffed tomato. He sniffed as you wiped off his tears and made him look at you.

Y/n: Crying it out is good but sometimes you need to be strong.
You said as he looked at you with his glossy eyes. A small smile slowly crept on his lips which made you smile too.

Jk: Thanks.
He said as he faced back towards the water.

There was a moment of silence but Jungkook broke it.

Jk: So...now you have to share something with me.
He said as he looked at you.

You looked down as you said
Y/n: Me...*chuckles* I'm always good. I have no worries. And I'm not a cry baby like you.
You said as you chuckled a little making him smile as your silliness.

Jungkook: But why do I feel like there's alot of pain behind that smile?
He said as your smile faded and you looked down.

Y/n: *sighs heavily* It's my mom's death anniversary today.
You said while looking at the sky while he couldn't believe that your parents are no more.

Jk: But....But nonna told me your parents are abroad because of their business.
You scrunched your eyebrows as you looked at him with a small smirk.

Y/n: You enquiried about me?
You asked as he looked away being embarrassed because yes he did. Why?? You'll know later. Yes, it's exactly what you're thinking. Good job ( ͡ᵔ ﹏ ͡ᵔ ).

You chuckled as you continued.
Y/n: I lied to everyone. My parents passed away when I was five. That time I lived in Australia.
Jk: What happened then?
He asked with visible curiosity in his voice.

Y/n: I was raised by my Uncle. But....
You stopped as he asked.
Jk: But what?
You looked down as you said.
Y/n: He used to abuse me. Physically and....leave....Those are all my past. Now I'm fine.
You said as you smiled while trying your best not to break down infront of him.

Jk: Sometimes you need to be strong likewise sometimes you need to cry it out. It's okay to cry.
He said while looking at you with soft eyes. As you started at him with your glossy eyes.

You looked away as you wiped them off. You've learnt to be strong and you'll always be. There was a time when you used to cry every night because of the torture you had to face everyday from your uncle.

But now you were out of that hell and you were much more stronger than before.
You looked at Jungkook as you asked with a smirk.

Y/n: So....You asked Jieun about me huh?
He looked away with a little smile on his face.
You faced the front with a smile as you got your answer in his shy smile.

You slowly scooted closer to him and rested your head on his shoulder making him flinch a little.
Y/n: It's me. Chill.
You chuckled as his body froze at its place and his eyes fixed down at your face which looked more beautiful from close.

You were feeling the light breeze while closing your eyes and then there's he who was staring at the most beautiful thing in this world according to him which was you.

Maybe they'll take some time. But the journey of falling in love has begun.
