EVERYTHING from studies to Tzuyu was taking a toll on Jennie. When she couldn't bear it anymore, she decided to take a break and go home.

Jennie leaned back on the chair, waiting for her train to Daegu arrive. Fishing for a book from her bag, she gone through the pages, killing time and boredom.

"Hi~" A sweet voice greeted, Chou Tzuyu. Jennie forced herself to react politely rather than screaming at her, which she wanted to do. "Aren't you Jennie?" Not wanting to talk, Jennie acknowledged by giving her a nod. "I'm Tzuyu, Taehyung's friend"

"Are you going home?" Tzuyu's endless questions had Jennie in a twist. She was praying for the train to come as soon as possible. "Yes" Jennie smiled, a fake one at its finest.

"Me too" Tzuyu told her. "My husband comes from US on leave" Tzuyu's this statement had caught Jennie's attention. "You're married!?" Jennie couldn't help to keep the sudden cheeriness from her voice.

"I was forced to marry" Tzuyu chuckled, amused with Jennie's reaction. "Taehyung himself made me. My family was against my relationship. One day, he came with my boyfriend to my house. It became a big issue. But Taehyung was there with us for everything. If he hadn't there I-"

Tzuyu stopped talking once Jennie started laughing. "Why are you laughing?"

"Nothing" Jennie replied, shaking her head. She was laughing at her own stupidity. "I knew you both were best friends"

Jennie hummed a song, taking her luggage from the car. "Are you still singing the nursery rhymes?" Jaeho asked, helping Jennie with her bags. "You know appa, people tends to become childish when they become older" Jennie explained. "You do realize that you are old, right?" Her father teased her.

As soon as Jennie stepped inside her house, she was greeted by Jung Hoseok, her once mechanic, whom she hadn't seen for past 6 years. "Hoseok was waiting for you to return" Her father said, as he stepped inside behind her.

"I stopped my mechanic job" Hoseok told her. "I started a new business and I wanted to begin my business starting with you" Jennie glanced back and forth between her father and Hoseok, having zero idea about what they were talking about. "He's playing cupid now" Misun told Jennie.

Oh.

Arranged marriage.

"There's a nice guy" Hoseok spoke. "Shall I arrange a date with him?"

Jennie's mind went straight to Kim Taehyung, thinking about marrying and having a family with him. A shy smile spreaded across her lips at the thought, literally running away to her room.

"She may be a tomboy, but she's shy when it comes to marriage" Hoseok noted. Jaeho had an indifferent expression, surprised to see his daughter being shy. He followed her to her room, bewildered.

"Hoseok said you were shy earlier" Jennie turned around to face her father. "I know my daughter is not someone to show shyness. So, that's why I'm asking. Why do you always avoid the topic marriage?"

Jennie freezed for a second at her father's question, but soon shrugged. "Nothing appa" She said. "I'm waiting for something. If it doesn't happen, I'll let you know. Then, I shall marry someone of your choice"

"Something...?" Jaeho quirked an eyebrow. "Is it some examination?" Jennie nodded her head in agreement. "Yeah, a tough one" Jaeho watched Jennie opening her laptop, taking a seat. "I did study medicine too" He told her. Jennie flashed him a mischievous smile. "Times have changed, old man"

Jennie pushed the trolley, dragging herself through the supermarket. She was dying of boredom back at home and decided to make something sweet. But unfortunately, she had to go shopping for ingredients.

Jennie let out a groan, when she accidentally dropped the butter on the floor than in the trolley. But before she could grab it, a masculine hand appeared, picking up the butter and giving it to her. "If isn't this my dearest cousin?" She exclaimed, seeing Lee Taeyong standing in front of her, smiling awkwardly. "When did you reappear?"

"2 weeks ago" Taeyong replied, scratching the back of his neck. "What is it?" Jennie asked, already knowing that he was here for a reason.

"You know Jennie, I've tried many ventures, nothing was successful. But now, something new has come up" Jennie raised an eyebrow at him, not knowing where he was going with this. But nonetheless, gestured him to continue. "I'm trying to arrange a kung-fu tournament. Our jeweler Mark had promised to sponsor as he's interested in such things"

Jennie stopped walking, turning to him. "Okay? But, what's my role in this?" Taeyong took a deep breath before continuing. "Mark has only one condition. Taehyung and his boys must take part in this. I know you and Taehyung are close. Ask him to come"

Jennie shot him a glare, before walking away from him. She went to the billing, leaving Taeyong to catch up to her. "I won't ask him" She told him, when he caught up with her. "I can't" He sighed. "He's still angry with me"

"He must have forgotten about Joohyun unnie. You go ahead and ask him" Jennie encouraged, nudging on his shoulder. "Then I will see you at my funeral!" Taeyong muttered sarcastically.

Paying the bills, Jennie walked to where her car was parked. After she put the shopping bags in her car, Jennie glanced at Taeyong, her arms crossed and eyebrows raised. "So, there's something more to it, right?"

Taeyong cursed himself for slipping, before giving Jennie a nod of confession. "How will I explain it to you?" He wondered out loud, before clapping his hands as he got an idea to explain. "Imagine that, Taehyung and I were in the Army..."

"Captain" Soldier Taeyong shouted, his voice coming out shakily. "Captain, give me a hand"

"Careful!" Captain Taehyung scolded, helping the soldier from freeing his leg that got stuck in between some building remnants. Both of them moved slowly and carefully through the half destructed area. The buildings were still burning down as they moved. They were the only surviving soldiers among their squad.

Soldier Taeyong leaned on a broken wall, his throat dry and body dehydrated. Fishing for the watter bottle from his backpack, he was disappointed to find the bottle empty. "Here" Captain Taehyung passed his bottle to the soldier, asking him to drink it. "Drink" He commanded, and Taeyong didn't waste any more time. He had already gulped down the whole bottle. "Thank you captain"

"Let's move now" Captain Taehyung told, walking into the open space. The loud noises of bomns blasting and rifle firing can be heard in the distance. "Step carefully. Enemies have buried mines he-"

"Captain.." The shaky, breathless voice of his soldier had Captain Taehyung turning around, only to see his fellow soldier stepped on a mine. "Save me please..."

"Soldier Taeyong" Captain Taehyung dashed towards him, holding the former's leg steady. "Do. Not. Move"

"Stay very still" He told, searching for anything to help his soldier. "Don't panic. You just have to take your foot off slowly and carefully..."

The desire to live was more powerful in soldier Taeyong that he had already taken his leg from the boots, to which captain was holding onto, leaving the captain with the mine and running away for life.

"Soldier Taeyong!"

"You did something like that!?" Jennie's loud voice told how much shocked she was. "No" Taeyong shaked his head. "But much worse"

Jennie was disappointed to hear his confession but, not surprised. Lee Taeyong was too much. "Now, I can't blame Taehyung" She breathed out. "Please?" Taeyong asked, mustering his best puppy eyes. "I'll try"

The 2 cousins watched Taehyung carefully, who was skimming through some paperworks. They were currently in Taehyung's office at Kim Holdings. Probably because of their stares, Taehyung finally looked up from his works, letting out a sigh.

"I will help..." Taehyung's these 3 words had the cousins to break into a small smile but that was short-lived. "...not because you asked me to or to help him" He muttered to Jennie, stacking up the papers. "But because I want my boys back in academy to utilize this chance" He picked up one stack and placed them on his secretary's table, also gesturing the two to help him.

Jennie turned to face Taeyong, who was already looking at her, telling her to follow Taehyung's orders with his facial expressions. Giving him a deadly glare and a scoff, Jennie walked to Taehyung's table, picking up a stack and placing them on another table.

Taeyong stood in the corner, like a good boy, watching Taehyung and his cousin working. When Taehyung spotted Jennie carrying the stack which was heavy for her and Taeyong watching her struggle, he growled at Taeyong. "Go and bring the rest of the papers"

"Me?" Taeyong's hesitation was cut short by Taehyung's deadly glare. He immediately began the said work. "I will come" Taehyung told Jennie. "Also I'll be meeting you later regarding the mass wedding scheme my company is sponsoring to. I expect generous contributions from your little doctor family"

A small smile spread across Jennie's lips at his words. "Sure" She said, chewing on her lips to stop herself from smiling too much. "I'll help in any way I can. Besides, I'll be there for next meetings too"

A little smirk crossed Taehyung's lips and Jennie frowned upon seeing it. But he soon masked it with a polite smile before walking towards Taeyong. Jennie tilted her head, staring at his retreating figure, a confused yet giddy grin on her lips.
