Y/N POV:

We spent the rest of the evening outlining our plan. I felt a sense of camaraderie growing between us, a bond forged through shared purpose and determination.

As night fell over Heaven, I lay in bed, thoughts racing. The stakes were higher than ever, but for the first time in ages, I felt alive with purpose. We were ready to stand up for what we believed in, and no one could take that away from us.

The following day, we gathered in a hidden alcove, the soft light filtering through the trees above us. Zeke, Felicity, and Leon joined us, forming a small circle. The atmosphere was charged with excitement and anxiety.

"Thanks for coming, everyone," I began, looking around at the faces of those who had chosen to stand with us. "We all know why we're here. The extermination isn't just a policy; it's a threat to everything we stand for."

Zeke nodded, his expression serious. "We have to show the council that we're united against this. If they see us divided, they'll only grow bolder."

Felicity chimed in, "We should consider organizing a gathering. Something public that can't be ignored."

"Agreed," Leon said, his gaze unwavering. "But we need to keep it peaceful. We want to show our strength, not incite violence."

"Exactly," I added, feeling a surge of adrenaline. "If we can gather enough Seraphim, it might even force the council to listen."

Emily took a step forward, her voice filled with conviction. "Let's plan a demonstration in the central plaza. It's a high-traffic area, and we can get more people involved."

Everyone nodded in agreement, a wave of determination rippling through the group. We spent the next few hours brainstorming and organizing, making posters and gathering supplies. The anticipation was electric, and I could feel the hope building.

As the day of the demonstration approached, the energy in the air grew palpable. Seraphim began to spread the word, rallying more support. I was amazed at how quickly our small group had turned into a movement.

On the day of the demonstration, I arrived early at the central plaza, the sun shining brightly overhead. The plaza was adorned with shimmering fountains and blooming flowers, but the beauty felt overshadowed by the gravity of our mission.

Emily joined me, her face beaming with excitement. "Look at everyone who showed up!" she exclaimed, gesturing to the growing crowd of Seraphim who had gathered to stand with us.

My heart swelled as I surveyed the sea of facesโ€”fellow Seraphim who believed in our cause. "This is incredible," I whispered, feeling a sense of unity wash over me.

As the hour approached, I stepped onto a small platform, my heart pounding in my chest. I could see Leon and the others in the crowd, their expressions filled with anticipation.

"Everyone, thank you for coming today," I began, my voice steady despite the nerves. "We're here because we believe in a Heaven that upholds love, acceptance, and the right to exist without fear. The extermination is not just a policyโ€”it's an attack on our very essence!"

Cheers erupted from the crowd, a wave of energy that fueled my resolve. I continued, "Together, we can show the council that we won't stand by while they take away what we cherish most. We will fight for the dream Lucifer once envisionedโ€”a world where wayward souls in Hell can get a second chance... WHERE THEY CAN BE REDEEMED!"

The crowd roared, a chorus of voices united in purpose.

I felt a thrill run through me as I looked out at the sea of determined faces. This was our moment. We were no longer shadows in the background; we were a force to be reckoned with.

As the day unfolded, we shared stories, spoke of our hopes and dreams, and connected with one another on a level I had never experienced before. It felt as if we were igniting a fire within Heaven, a fire that couldn't be extinguished.

Just as we reached the peak of our gathering, I spotted Sera approaching with a few members of the council. My heart raced as I watched her, uncertainty creeping in.

Would she listen? Or would this only escalate the tension?

I took a deep breath and stepped forward to meet her, flanked by Emily and Leon.

"Sera!" I called out, my voice cutting through the chatter. "We need to talk."

Her expression shifted from surprise to contemplation as she regarded the crowd behind us. "What is the meaning of this?" she demanded, her tone sharp.

"We're here to stand up against the extermination," I replied, feeling a surge of courage. "We believe that sinners can be redeemed... We can create a better world for the redeemed souls, where love is celebrated, not extinguished."

She crossed her arms, her gaze steady. "You think this will change anything? The council's decision is final."

"Maybe it is, but that doesn't mean we'll accept it without a fight," Leon added, his voice filled with conviction. "You're a part of this too, Sera. Don't you see the impact of this decision?"

Sera's eyes softened momentarily as she surveyed the crowd, but then her expression hardened again. "I have a duty to uphold the laws of Heaven. You all need to understand the gravity of your actions."

"What we understand," Emily interjected, her voice unwavering, "is that standing by and doing nothing is not an option. You have the power to change this, Sera. You can choose compassion over cruelty."

The tension in the air crackled as Sera remained silent, her mind visibly working through the implications of our words.

"Consider what this extermination means for so many," I urged, stepping closer. "You've seen the pain it can cause. Together, we can create a Heaven that embraces everyone, not just those who fit a specific mold."

For a moment, it felt like we were reaching her, breaking through the walls of duty and obligation.

But then, she straightened her posture, shaking her head slightly. "I need to discuss this with the council. I cannot make promises here."

As she turned to leave, my heart sank. Had we failed? Would all of this be for nothing?

But Emily squeezed my hand reassuringly. "We made our voices heard. That's what matters."

The crowd remained vibrant and alive, energy pulsing through them. Despite the uncertainty, I felt a flicker of hope.

This was only the beginning. We had ignited a spark, and I knew that as long as we stood together, we would continue to fight for what we believed in.

And maybeโ€”just maybeโ€”we could still save Hell from the cruelties of Heaven.

As the demonstration concluded, the crowd began to disperse, but the conversations continued. There was a sense of camaraderie that filled the air, a bond forged through shared purpose.

Emily and I shared a glance, a silent understanding passing between us. We had taken the first step, and it had felt powerful.

"Where do we go from here?" I asked, feeling the weight of what was still to come.

"Now we wait," she replied, her eyes bright with determination. "We see how the council responds. But we can't lose momentum. We need to keep talking to more Seraphim, spreading the word."

I nodded, feeling a sense of resolve wash over me. "We'll keep pushing. For Charlie. For everyone."

As we walked away from the plaza, I knew that whatever happened next, we wouldn't face it alone. We had each other, a growing coalition of allies, and a shared vision for a brighter future.

And as the sun set over Heaven, painting the sky with hues of orange and pink, I felt a flicker of hope ignite within meโ€”a hope that refused to be extinguished, no matter the odds.

This was just the beginning of our fight, and together, we would make our stand.

We would honor the legacy of Lucifer Morningstar and fight for a Heaven that was worthy of his memory.

And we would do it with everything we had.
