Change of Perceptive.

Y/n's Perspective.

~~~~
I managed to make it to my next class period, with only being late by two minutes. Thankfully, being a new student has its perks when it comes to being late. The class was moderate at best, with a few blabbermouth students, idiots, and more I didn't care enough to focus on. The teacher admitted to the class that he had a movie planned for the week, but as his projector wasn't working, we could just use this as a free period. Fine by me!
I reached into my bag for my headphones and iPad. I choose to listen to music while I drew in my sketchbook. As I did, a student behind me tapped my shoulder. I turn around, pulling back my headphones to hear him properly. It was a boy, who looked a bit older compared to the other students I have seen in my past classes. His pale skin shined under the light from the ceiling, with the light shining off his platinum blonder hair. His eyes were very pretty, a nice dream blue shade. He also had slight eye-bags, as Huey did.
"Yeah, what's up?" I asked. "Do you have any gum on you? Or anything? I skipped the breakfast, and I'm fucking starving." He said. His voice was low, laced with drowsiness. Now I know this place also serves breakfast. "Sure, I have some candy and gum. Lollipops, candy canes, and stuff. I have cash on me too." You told, taking out three sticks of mint gum to give, with a blueberry lollipop. He perked up in surprise as I laced it on his desk.
"Wow, uh, thanks. Say, what's your name again?" He asked me. "I'm Y/n, I'm new here. And you?" I asked. "I'm Nathan. I came here two years ago. This place doesn't blow as much as the last place." He said, chewing on a piece of gum I gave him, whilst he put everything else in the pocket of his jacket. "Where did you go before here?" I asked, fully turning around in my seat, dropping my headphones at my neck. "Just some all-boys private school. Uniforms, rich kids, future doctors in Alcoholics Awareness meetings." He explained, waving his hand around as he spoke.
"Pfft- that does sound boring. I went to a crappy school in Chicago, the only cool part was the graffiti on the walls and the occasional fights there." I said, managing to make him snort. "Lucky. The closest thing to a fight here is arguing about how much their parents make. Regardless, they still pay to this fucking estate of place." He said, dragging the lead of his pencil on the wood of the desk. "Oh yeah, this place is huge. The principal gave me a tour but barely showed me the important stuff. It was just him talking about the school." I say.
I had to listen to that bum talk about the school's history more than I'm willing to hear about my own family history. "That reminds me, I don't even know where the cafeteria is!" I huffed. Nathan snickered and leaned further on his desk. "I can show you, right now." He said, a sly smile drawn on his face. "Really? Thanks! Wait- but how? There's no way he'll just let us out of the class." I said, now whispering to him.
"We can just, lie." He grins. A lie! Absolutely not! Not on your first day! "What!? We can't lie! What if we get in trouble? They'll give us a referral, and call our parents and-" Nathan pressed his finger to my lips. The silver ring on his finger shined brightly. He did have a lot of pretty sliver rings on. "You never got in trouble at school before, have you?" He asked, pulling his finger away. "Well...I did once, but! I was completely in the right, and it was not marked on my record." I told. I'll be dammed if they did put it on my record.
"Oh, a clean slate. Yeah, we're doing this. Look, all you have to do is go up to Mr. Davis, tell him you have to use the bathroom, and wait out in the hall, make sure to be away from the door window and class windows. I'll follow you out right after." He instructed. It was a simple plan, but it just didn't feel right. Ugh, I hate guilt! Could I even trust this guy? From the looks of it, he didn't seem like a good influence. The raging smell of cigarette smoke and cologne wasn't a "good person" signature.
But damn you could eat something right now.
"Fine, but, do you promise to be there?" I questioned, as stern as I could. He held his hand up with a grin. "I swear, I'll be there. We can shake on it." He said, offering his hand to me. I shook my head. "Nope, give me your pinky," I said. He looked shocked. "A pinky promise? Are you serious?" He chuckled. I didn't reply, I only stared at him. "Oh, you are serious. Fine, I pinky promise." He said, sticking out his pinky finger. I take it with my pinky and smile. "Okay, deal. I'll be on the left side." I said, turning away to pack my things, but not my headphones. Thankfully they were Bluetooth so I could go anywhere I pleased with it.
Once my things were set and packed, I gave one last look to Nathan, who was leaning back in his chair, his arms behind his head. He gave me a thumbs up with a smile, and I did the same to him. I got up from my seat and walked to the teacher's desk. "Excuse me, Mr. Davis?" I spoke, biting my tongue so I won't stutter. He looked up from his computer screen towards me. "What's up Marwood? Is something wrong?" He asked. "No, I was just asking if I could use the bathroom?" I said, and immediately he nodded.
"Oh, of course. Go ahead." He gave me a thumbs up for confirmation. I smiled and thanked him before making my way out of the class. Once I was out of the classroom, away from the doors and windows, I let out the air I trapped in my lungs. Why was that so difficult, yet easy!? I haven't made a reputation of myself yet, so he couldn't pin me as a bad apple, yet. Oh god, this could have me listed as a troubled student. I'm not saying I'm a teacher's pet, but always being seen as a prosperous student in the eyes of a teacher, is best for unpredictable situations.
Maybe he'll never find out, maybe he'll- "Boo." The sudden voice and startling feeling of a hand on my shoulder made me jump. I spun around, looking up to find Nathan towering over me. With a closer look at him, he was quite lanky but wore baggy clothes. "Why the hell are people so tall here?" I said.
Nathan's Perspective.
"Why the hell are people so tall here?" She blurted. "Pfft- Hahaha! What? I don't think you're even able to talk about height. Do you see how short you are? You could be my kid." I snort, placing my hand, above her head. "As if, if I was white that'd totally work." She huffed, crossing her arms. "No shit. Now come on, Davis has me on restricted time." That prick. I could have his job if I wanted. "Great, I saw vending machines around here, and the principal said that the cafeteria food is good, and even gets catering from restaurants!" She said, walking by my side.
"Yeah, the lunch is one of the good things here. Inside it's annoying, everyone is so fucking loud." I groaned, feeling the oncoming headache from the thought of it. "Yeah, me and brother would eat our lunch together outside by the trees or in a classroom to avoid that." She told, popping her gum. "You have a brother? Does he go here with you?" Just as I asked, I watched her smile drop in an instant. Touchy subject, noted.
"No, he doesn't. But he would be with the older kids if he was here. He's fourteen." She told with a sigh. "Oh? Just a year older than me I have a brother and a sister. My brother is in Iraq and my sister works at an expensive clothing store. Now she's working directly under Luna Moon, she's the owner." I shrugged.
"Luna Moon is my cousin. She actually lived in New York, or I think it was Paris? She has houses all over the place, she's mainly here because of me." That's rich to believe. "Really? Prove it." I challenged. "Bet." She proceeded to brush her hair upward and turned her back towards me. "Check the tag on the back. It'll have her initials sewed in." She told me. "Uh-huh, sure." I pull the back of her shirt collar, just to find the initials sown in with gold thread. "Holy shit, there's only one bitch in the school that owns something from Luna, but you have something handcrafted by her," I said, letting go of her collar.
"Told you so!" She grinned, letting her hair go. "I don't see what you think I would lie." She said. "Well, you did lie to Davis-" I started. "And so did you! You told me to anyways!" She pointed her finger toward me. That's almost too cute. "I mean, you did have the choice, to just simply, say no. You're the one, who said the lie." I would take her hand, and point her finger toward her. "If it makes you feel better, we can be lairs together," I said, blowing a bubble with my gum. She'd giggled and pop the bubble with her finger. "That's a weird way of asking to be friends!" She said.
That is not what I meant, but sure, why the hell not. She seemed more bearable than Jasmine. A lot cuter too. "So we're friends or what?" I asked her. She would hum in thought as she tapped her chin. "Hmmm, add a please and I'll say yes!" Ha! "No." I flatly said. "It's just manners! A six-letter word, won't kill you." She laughed. Rolling my eyes, I looked down at her. "Can we please, be friends?" I strained, with a forced smile.
"Of course, we can! Now come on, I'm starving!" She said, tugging on my sleeve to drag me with her. I manage a smile and walked with her. "Shouldn't I be the one dragging you?"
~~~~

Once we reached the lunch room, she looked like a kid who just made it to Disney World. "It's just a clean lunch room," I told her. Thankfully, rarely anyone was in there, just a few students with free periods, or were skipping class.

"That's the point! This lunch room is as big as the football field! And there's a view! A salad bar, big TVs, different lunch sections, and you can walk in before your lunch too! At my old school, just eating something before your lunch period would get you in trouble! Let's buy something!" She would bounce on her feet as she looked at me with a wide toothy smile.

I have never seen anyone so excited about a lunchroom. The lunch sure, but the room itself was surprising. How rough was her school back in Chicago? Just when I wanted to deny her, I found myself standing in the bakery line, watching her eye the glass case of pastries. She's definitely an indecisive one. "Come on Nathan, help me decide for us! The vanilla cream puff with white chocolate shavings? Or the hot lava fudge cake? They both sound so good!"

Wait, us?

"Us? You wanna share or something?" I asked. "Well, yeah, it's my thank you for helping me, and us becoming friends. Is that okay? Is that too much?" She asked, wringing her fingers together. She doesn't have many friends, does she? Sighing, rubbed the back of my neck. I haven't gone this long without a smoke. That gum helped. "It's okay, we can share. Go for the strawberry delight champagne cake. Ask for a slice, I'll get us a drink from the other bar side. You can pick a seat."

She glowed with a smile. "Alright! I'll be by the windows!" She said, running up to the cashier lady to begin the order. Of course, she wants to sit by the windows. I walked to the drink bar, purchased watermelon-flavored Monster energy for myself, and bought her a sparkling strawberry lemonade. After paying I walked back to the bakery to tracer her down from there. Thankfully, she wasn't that far from it. Just like she said, she was sitting at one of the booths, placed by the large windows.

She was focused on the flying flock of birds outside as ate the fresh strawberries that came with the cake. Approaching the booth, I sat on the opposite side of her, placing her drink at her side. "You didn't eat yet?" I asked. "Only the strawberries, I wanted to eat the cake with you!" She says, handing me the spare fork.

Change of Perspective

Second Person Point of View.

~~~~
After indulging yourself in a sweet treat with a new friend, you both made your way back to class. Nathan changed his seat for the period and sat at the empty desk beside you. Surprisingly, the teacher didn't seem to notice when you both came back to class at the same time, with drinks. He only said, "Why didn't you guys bring me anything?" Which was funny to you.
Whilst you drew in your sketchbook, Nathan would scribble a poorly drawn example of the male genitalia. You, of course, erased it before anyone could see, while he only laughed. Once class came to an end, you and Nathan parted ways. He didn't say where he was heading off to, but you assumed it was to his next class.
On your way to lunch, your attention was focused on the sketch you drew. It was Huey and Nathan. Sure it wasn't the best, but it was passable for you. The sudden feeling of a rushed force and a strong smell of strawberries knocked you off your feet, causing you to land on your butt with an "Oof-". The pain was quickly forgotten when you spotted the culprit. In front of you was a girl, dressed in frilly pink. Her light orange hair was styled in two large puffs, tied off with pink ribbons that hung low. It was her! Were all the kids you saw in the garden going here? Well, it made sense, the closest school in the neighborhood.
Just as you were about to question her, the springing tears in her eyes spotted you. Bitting your tongue, you took a different approach. "Hey...are you alright?" You asked her. She would sniff and shake her head. "N-no...it's just- they always ruin everything! And they are so rude to everyone, and I try to be nice but-" As you reached for her shoulder, she burst into tears. Oh no, crying. Do you even know how to calm someone down when they're crying?
Placing your head on her shoulder, you used the other to take her hand. "Hey, don't cry. I'll help you." Trying to channel your brother's method when he helped you, was difficult. He was more of a "tough" love person, who impulsively made decisions. While the girl calmed herself down, you looked at the mess around you both. Your sketchbook was perfectly intact, however, the page the girl has was slightly torn. You could see she drew a man and woman, but red ink from a sharpie covered the drawing. In bold letters, it read "UGLY". The girl herself most likely didn't do that, and that means someone else did.
Turning back to the girl, she would wipe her tears on the sleeves of her pink sweater. As she did, you rid the bows in her hair. "Your boys are really pretty, they fit you too." You said. With a sniff, she spoke. "My mommy bought them with me...pink is my favorite color.." She told. "It fits you, I wish to have bows like yours. It would keep my hair out of my face." You actually didn't, but you said whatever helped her calm down and talk more. "Your hair is really pretty, and you have a lot of it too." Her tone seemed more level when she spoke that time.
"Thanks, you too. My name is Y/n, what's yours?" You asked, getting up from the floor, holding your hand out to her. "I'm Jazmine! I'm sorry that I bumped into you, and cried...my friends say I'm a crybaby for that.." She told, taking your hand to get up. Now that you bother were standing, you noticed she was at the height of your shoulder and seemed a bit younger than you. "It's okay, I don't mind it." You shrugged, reaching for the fallen things on the ground. Once you had your sketchbook and the vandalized paper in your hand, you looked to Jazmine. A frown was on her face when you looked at her.
"Someone wrote this on your paper, didn't they?" You asked. Looking closer to the page, you were able to see a woman who had white skin, blonde hair, and blue eyes. She wore clothes consisting of the colors, pink and purple. The man had light brown skin, brown eyes, and black hair. He wore a dark blue suit and a red tie. She nodded silently. "It was supposed to be of my parents but they.." "I can give you a drawing if you want." You offered, folding the paper.
Jazmine looked surprised. "Really? You can do that for me?" She asked. "Sure, you can look in my sketchbook too, here." Just as you tucked the paper into your pocket, you gave her your sketchbook. Happily, looked through the few pages in awe. You weren't that big on drawing, you mainly have the sketchbook to keep yourself from wasting your school paper. "Hey, I know these two! It's Huey and Nathan!" She exclaimed, pointing to the sketches of them.
"You know them too?" You asked. She would nod with a smile. "Mhm! I live across from Huey and Riley. Nathan lives around the estates because he's really, really rich! Cindy lives in the next neighborhood over, but we're all friends! We all have lunch together too! You should come!" Jazmine rambled, holding your sketchbook to her chest as she took your hand. "O-Oh, sure! I have lunch now anyways-" Before you could even finish, Jazmine was dragging you down the hall by your hand, but you both weren't going to the lunch room. Passing the lunch, you were hit with the realization that her friends most likely eat lunch outside.
Surprisingly, you were correct. Though, the look of the lunch courtyard surprised you. There were even food stands outside! Jazmine dragged you to one of the tables, that had the umbrella open to block the sun, there quietly sat, Nathan and Huey. Huey was reading a book, with a salad bowl and water at his side. Nathan sat across from him, his eyes were closed, spinning his second can of regular monster energy drink of the day. In his mouth was a thin white stick, and his lips were a faint dye of blue. It must've been the lollipop stick.
"Hey guys, guess who I brought with me!" Jazmine cheered, approaching the table. Huey and Nathan slowly turned their attention to her, their eyes widened in surprise. "Y/n?" They said in unison, turning to one another once they did. "So you both do know her! Good! All that's left is CC and Riley! You'll like them Y/n, they're nice too! Well, sometimes. It takes them a while." Jazmine explained, sitting down in the free chair across from the two. She would pull out the chair next to her for you, happily, you took the spot.
"Who's CC and Riley?" You asked, taking off your bag to get your lunch. "Riley is Huey's little brother, he's on the boys' basketball team. Cindy is also on the girls' basketball team, and she's Nathan's third cousin. They both are really sporty and stuff, but they're nice, I promise." She assured. This was her second time saying that. Something gave you the impression that Riley and Cindy weren't really that nice.
"Y/n, how did you meet Jazmine?" Huey asked, his gaze leaving his book just to reach yours. "We met in the hallway, we bumped into one another, she saw my sketchbook, and I'm drawing a picture for her. That reminds me, you never told me what you wanted me to draw for you." You said to her.
"Oh right! Could you draw a fluffy brown rabbit with a pink bow? I have a bunny named Hoppity. I can show you a picture!" She told, taking out her phone from her bag. Everything about her was bright colors and pink.
Swiping around in her gallery, she found a photo to show you. Your heart swelled at the sight of it. "Awww, he's adorable!" You squealed. "Thank you, he's the cutest!" Jazmine squealed as well. Just as you two began to chat about her pet, Nathan chuckled. "Girls." He said. Immediately you and Jazmine looked to him, unimpressed. "What's that supposed to mean?" You huffed. "Yeah, what's that supposed to mean?" Jazmine repeated, with the forced bass in your tone, it was obvious she tried to copy the level of rigor in your tone.
"Nothing, just you two talking about bunnies, that's all." Nathan grinned carelessly, shrugging his shoulders. "Yeah, sure." You rolled your eyes and opened your lunch. It was perfectly cut BLT sandwiches, with grapes, two brownies, and two chocolate-covered strawberries. You and Jazmine both gasped in awe. Without asking, you handed a strawberry to her with a smile. "Thank you, I love strawberries!" She beamed, taking the strawberry to immediately devour it the minute it was in her hands.
From that point, the four of you indulged in conversation. This group seemed to go through a lot of adventures, and you earned about Cindy and Riley. Just as Jazmine was defending their case once again, she would gasp and jump up from her seat, waving ahead. "Cindy! Over here!" She yelled. You looked in her direction to find the blonder girl from your first period, with the boy at her side as well. Seeing the boy holding a blue red Gatorade, and a basketball, you guessed they came from the gym to play before eating.
Once they reached the table, Cindy wrapped her arm around Jazmine's shoulder as she sat down, placing her orange Gatorade on the table. Riley sat beside you on your left, not hiding his intense glare your way. "Did your coaches call you for extra laps or something?" Huey asked. "Yeah, it was a choice though. They said if you want to be good, then come." Riley shrugged. "So basically, come so ya'll won't suck?" You said. Cindy and Nathan snorted. "Basically. But wait, you're the new girl, right? The one that came up with Thugnificent?" Cindy asked you.
Casually, you nodded as you bit into your sandwich. "Mhm." You cocked your head to the side, arching your brow in confusion. It was your way to telepathically ask her, "Why do you ask?". "Yesterday we saw you outside in the garden, Reezy thought you was one of the maids' kid or some shit." Cindy snickered, pointing to Riley with a grin.
"Aye, Jaz thought she was Thug's kid or somethin'. She barely looks like him anyway." Riley dismissed, eyeing the brownies in your meal box. "Can a nigga borrow a brownie?" He asked you. "How the fuck do you borrow food, Riley?" Huey spoke, sending you all to laugh. "Are you gonna give it back to her?" Nathan snickered. Riley only rolled his eyes, flipping you all off. You handed him the brownie, giggling as you did. "Here you go, you can borrow it, I guess."
Riley would snatch it from you, tearing into the plastic wrapping of it. That, however, didn't bother you. Something else did. "Uhm, you're welcome." You sassed, glaring at him. He didn't even bother to look your way. Until an unknown leg kicked him from underneath the table. Hissing in pain, he glared at Huey then you. "Tch, thanks." He forced. With a satisfied smile, you chirped "You're welcome!"
Now, you all as a group talked with one another. You shared half of the brownie with Cindy and ate the last strawberry. Eventually, the topic of you being related to Thugnificent and Luna resurfaced in the conversation. The main one, being Riley. "Well, of course, I don't look exactly like them, I'm their cousin." You told. "Ain't no way, Thug said all his family died, well except his sis." He said, still stuck in his stubbornness.
"Yeah, most of them are. He mainly meant they are dead to him, 'cause he doesn't like a lot of them." You said irritably. "Then how come you living with him then?" H asked. Why were you living with him? How come you were his exception? He's admitted he wouldn't even help his kin's children, but he willingly set you on a jet here. Luna especially can't stand kids, yet she always held you in her arms without a second thought. What saving grace blessed you enough to be accepted?
"I don't know." You replied. Riley seemed satisfied with this answer, smirking pridefully as the next period bell blared. "Thought so, catch you niggas later." He said, getting up from the table in unison with Cindy. "I'll see you guys later, I'm gonna pop your lid Reezy." Cindy declared as she walked ahead with him. "The fuck did I do?" Was the last thing you heard of the two as they left. "I'll see you later, and I'll try to find you Y/n, I'm sure we have a class together!" Jazmine said, getting up at the same time as Nathan.
"Let's go Jaz, I'm not gonna get yelled at by the teacher for waiting on you." He said, waving silently as he waved ahead. "Wait up! Bye Huey, bye Y/n!" She lastly said before running after Nathan. You'd wave to them before letting out a sigh. It just left you and Huey in silence. "Are you okay?" He spoke, approaching you with his bag over his shoulder. "Not really. I don't want to be mean but Riley-" "Is a dumbass. I know." Huey interrupted. "I live with his annoying ass, don't let him get to you. He's an idiot."
As much as that was excepted, it was surprising to hear it aloud. "So, do you believe me?" I asked. "Well, you have your own room in the mansion, came to school with him, and you haven't given me any reason not to believe you." He said, seeming to come off nonchalant but sounding genuine. With a smile, you reached into your pocket, taking out a piece of mint gum. "Gum?" You offered, and he accepted it. "How much candy do you have in there?" He chuckled, blowing a bubble of his gum. "Just enough for me to crash next period. We should get going." You giggled.
As you both walked to class, a high-pitched squeal of Huey's name stopped you both in your tracks. Huey visibly cringed as you both turned around to find a girl with a glare situated on her face. She didn't look the happiest or even the nicest. Her skin was glowing pale, yet her cheeks were unnaturally pink. Her eyes were a bright blue that matched the earrings that showed past her hair. Her hair fell down her back, some ending in curls or laying down flatly. The color of her hair was an unnatural shade of ash blonde.
She approached you both, stomping with each step, despite trying to seem, "sweet'. Standing before you both, with her hands on her hips, she glared at Huey. "You blocked me? Are you serious? We have an upcoming project and we ARE seating partners." She spat at him. Huey rolled his eyes and looked at her with his natural scowl. "I've had you blocked, for five months, Claudia. Besides, our seats aren't mandatory, besides. She's my partner." He added quickly, gently nudging you.
You have to take one for the team. Waving to this Claudia, you spoke, "Hey, I'm Y/n, I already asked Huey to be my partner, sorry." Claudia's glare burned into you, but it didn't phase you. She didn't like she could do much damage to you anyway. "I didn't ask. Are you seriously pulling this childish game, Huey? Ugh, I thought you'd more matura about it." She would fold her arms with a huff. "I couldn't say the same thing about you. Let's go Y/n, class starts in a minute." Without a second word, Huey pulled you by your hand to follow after him.
You weren't able to see the priceless fit Claudia threw as you both walked away either! It was probably for the best. "Damn, why the hell does she act like some bat shit crazy ex-girlfriend?" You laughed, to which Huey didn't. You slowly looked to Huey, awestruck. "No, fucking way. You dated her?!" You exclaimed. Huey hushed you while forcing his hand over your mouth.
"It wasn't serious. Barley anyone knows." He hissed. "Pfft- sure. She totally doesn't look like the type of girl to tell who she's dating. That's fucking insane, now I see why you said you weren't a loner." You cackled, pulling his hand away from your mouth. Huey groaned as you laughed a bit longer at his embarrassment. "Your secret is safe with me, however..." You smirked. "What do you want?" He snapped. "We actually get to be science partners." You told.
"Y/n, I already said we were." He replied. "Oh! Glad we're on the same page then!"
~~~~

The school day continued to be an adventure of its own. Occasionally bumping into one another, or having the same classes. The couldn't have gone better for you. As the school day came to an end, you six parted ways. Your five friends walked home as you were getting picked up. They tried to convince you to join them for the walk back, but your bodyguards insisted that you waited for your designated driver. Sadly, you had to.

As you sat on the school benches, with a bodyguard on your right and left, you played Candy Crush on one of their phones. For some reason, there had to be a reign check, and your ride changed from Thug picking you up, to a private Uber. Hearing giggles and whispers, you looked up to find Claudia, eyeing you as she spoke whispered to another girl. The girl had natural blonde hair and even colored white skin. From the looks of it, she seemed like a ditzy girl. The blonde would say something to Claudia that in return caused Claudia to scream, "No is not dating him, Abbey! Ugh, shut up!" Before marching off, Abbey ran after her.

You'd giggle and turn back to your game. "Did those girls bother you at all today?" One of the guards asked. "Nah, no one messed with me today. Today was great actually! Did you see the friends I made? Five!" You beamed to them. "Yes, we saw you skip a class with one of them." The guard on your left said in a scolding tone. "Yeah..I'm sorry. Can you guys please not tell Luna or Otis? I won't do it again, I swear." Well, unless you were hungry.

The guards would nod, agreeing to keep your misadventures a secret. A "ping" came from the guard's phone, altering you all that the driver made it. "About time, come along lil'nificent." One guard said as he got up from the bench, the other following in pursuit. You got up with a jump and cheerfully walked along with them to the black SUV. You couldn't wait to go home.

Riley's Pov.

~~~~
"I'm just saying Riley, you were pressing here over nothing. Who cares if she's related to them or not?" Nathan said to me. "Nigga ain't nobody asked yo ass. Ain't you related to some old ass white man?" I spat at him. "That has nothing to do with this, but fine." His gay ass would roll his eyes and flip me off. Back to your drunk ass momma nigga.
"Why are we going to Mr. Thugnificent's house again?" Jazmine asked. "So Riley can get his ass handed to him, not his brain though." Cindy said. "Cause he doesn't have one. This is stupid Riley." Huey told for like the fifth time. "Nigga then go home, you ain't needed to babysit across the street. You think the smartest one here or something?" I snapped. "Obviously." He replied. I outta beat his ass right here.
The whole walk, I ignored these dumbasses until we made it to Thug's mansion. In the driveway, his limo was the only car parked. The driver stepped out of the limo to open the doors for Thug and his crew to step out. I knew her ass was lying. How come she isn't with him if they are related? Smiling, I walked up Thug and his crew.
"Ayo, Thug!" I called. He would look up from his phone and grinned at me. "Aye, what's good little nigga." Holding his fist out to me. Naturally, I bumped mine against his. "Not much, but you got some fake news about you at my block," I told him. "Oh, word? I ain't gonna worry about that right now, but later we'll talk about it. I got someone I want y'all to meet." He said.
"Oh really? I wonder who." Huey said, unsurprised. His hating ass always gotta speak. Lie shut up, damn. "Who is it?" I asked. Thug would point behind us with a smile. "There she is." He said. Turning around, there she was.
Jazmine DuBois, also known as Jaz or Jazzy by her friends. She is the youngest in the group, and the most naive. For an eleven-year-old girl, it plays into her nature to be quite oblivious to what's going on around her.
Riley Freeman is also known as Riley Escobar, Young Reezy, or simply Reezy. At the age of eleven, he already finds a way to cause havoc, yet manages to make it go his way in the end. That's unless his older brother is involved.
Nathan Wuncler is the youngest in the Wuncler family, and the third troubled one. He's been in more boarding and all-boys schools than you can imagine. This has caused this thirteen-year-old, to be held back a year. However, his age doesn't stop him from doing childish things, or things strictly for adults. He loves to brag about having his mother's liquor cabinet key.
Claudia Smith only strives for three things. To be better than everyone, to be "Queen Bee", and have everyone's heart. For this twelve-year-old, her role models are pretty much any teenage girl that played, the "mean girl". Despite her sickening attitude, she managed to have one certain boy, until some nobody, stole him! She doesn't have to worry, it's not like they'll like one another.
Abbey Miller only is described as ditzy. There is no other personality to her, other than being Claudia's best friend. She follows whatever Claudia demands without a second thought. She's quite the devious bitch herself, but that moment will come later with time.
