They say that family is right and that family is first.

And that's what i did.

I wanted to make my brother proud.

I know it was wrong. All wrong, but i can't disappoint.

So when he asked me to join him... I did.

I knew what would happen, I knew the consequences.

I was going to betray everyone.

Including Percy.

"PERCY COME HEREEE!"

I was running through the camp after Percy. He took my journal and i cannot have him going through that.

I eventually caught up to him before he opened it. I jumped on him, tacking him to the ground.

He huffed and tried getting out.

"Give me the book and i'll get off," i firmly said, grabbing the book out of his hands. I got off him and helped him up.

I keep a firm grasp on the book in my hand and he had his arm wrapped around on shoulder.

Percy was telling me all these stories and adventures. I was only half-listening to be honest. He lost me awhile ago. Love him, but i don't have the best attention span.

In the middle of him talking, annabeth came over.

"Hey guys, shouldn't you two be getting ready for the game," she asked us. "Game?"

"Capture the flag," she laughed. "it's friday?"

"Come on," she dragged the both of us. "We got to go, i want you both in my team," she said.

"Wait! I have to go to my cabin for a minute," i told her. She looked at me, narrowing her eyes. "Quick," she said. I smiled and ran to my cabin and put my journal down and run back.

I see them getting ready and i went to join them.

The conch blew.

Percy was patrolling near the water, like always.

I was wandering around trying to see if anyone was too close to the flag, but no one. I got bored so i was going to go see percy.

I spotted him and i was about to call his name.

"Y/n!"

I turn my head to the side and see luke. "Luke, what's up?"

"I need to talk to you," he said quietly. I kind of expected what he wanted to talk about. I sigh and turn my direction to him now.

He guided me near an end.

"Okay, we need to put an action into this plan. Get things going," he told me.

"Do i really have to? I don't have a very good feeling about this," i said nervously.

He put his hand on my shoulder. "You already accepted, no time to turn back now," he said sternly. "You know better than anyone how dangerous he is. Help us prevent the danger. I was hesitant at first, but once i saw Krono's power..." he said, sounding almost maniacal now.

I nod slightly, looking down. "Once we complete this, everything will be all good, don't worry sis," he said gently.

"But we're betraying everyone," i said.

"What are you two doing here," a voice appeared.

Luke and I turned to the direction.

Percy.

My eyes widen. Did he hear everything?

Luke got in front of me and pulled out his sword. "How long have you been standing here," he raised his voice at percy.

"Not.. not long," he stuttered out of fear. "Luke stop! You promised you wouldn't hurt percy," i whispered to him.

"Wait.. hurt me?" percy questioned, coming closer.

"Don't come close! What did you hear," luke continued talking.

"I didn't hear anything! I swear," percy sounded genuine but he didn't at the same time.

Luke step closer to him and was ready to swing, but percy back away as he swung.

He gasped. "Luke, what are you doing," percy shouted.

"I know you heard what we said and i'm not letting it go," luke spat as he swung his sword again. Percy got his sword out quick, blocking his hit.

"Luke! This was not the plan," i shouted at him.

They ignored me and continued fighting. I hate boys.

"Oh my gods, can you guys both just stop and hear each other out! Luke.. percy said he didn't hear anything," i yelled.

They still weren't listening. Just fighting.

Luke had hit percy's sword out of his hand. Percy fell onto the ground, making a loud thud. I got scared and he was about to actually kill him if he continued.

Without thinking i charged at luke and pushed him.

I gasped. I pushed him off the hill. I ran to see him and there was just a bunch of trees and rocks. I let out a small scream.

"What did i do?! what did i do," I panicked. Percy crawled to me, holding me close. "It's okay," he whispered. I turned to him and checked him for serious wounds and stuff. "Are you okay," i asked him, worried.

"Yeah.. he's really good at fighting," he chuckled softly. I get up quickly. "I can't believe..."

I didn't finish my sentence and run off before he could say anything.

It's been hours since percy has been looking for y/n.

After she ran, she went to go to the bathroom and pace around in there before going back to the hill where she pushed luke off.

When she got there percy was not there anymore. She should've came to luke before but she was scared.

When she went down the hill in a hurry she sees luke. He was lying there coughing. She ran to him and hugged him, not caring if he didn't want it or not.

"I'm so so sorry, luke," she teared up. He hugged her back. "It's fine," he coughed out.

"You just were about to kill him and i got scared," i said pulling out of the hug.

"No worries, you had the right. If you didn't stop me i would've killed him," he sighed. "I'm sorry again too but... i don't think i can do this anymore," i look down on the ground. "I know you can't... but i'm still going to," luke said.

"You don't have to do it, luke. Please..." I begged him. "Go back to percy. And don't come looking after me because by the time you're done talking to him i'll be out of here," luke told me. "No please, luke. I can't lose you," i cried. "I'm sorry," he hugged me tightly, which i also returned.

My heart was feeling so heavy and shattered.

"I'm gonna miss you," i whispered. "I'll miss you too," he whispered back. "I really don't want you to go," i said. "It'll help us both," he said. "now go... percy is probably looking for you," he smiled softly at me.

I went to go look for percy. Apparently, he's been looking for me too.

I went back to my cabin and i heard shuffling in there. I went in with caution, and noticed familiar blonde curly hair. I walked in fully and see him looking at something.

"Percy?"

He looked up and walked up to me. "You love me, right," he said out of the blue.

I was taken back. Why would he say that?

"Of course, youre the love of my life. I will always love you," i softly spoke.

"So tell me, what were you thinking? The plans with luke," he raised his voice.

My eyes widen.

"You heard us... didn't you," i said. "No... your notes. I read them," he admitted.

"I told you not to read it! How could you," i walked past him to where it was and they were all scattered.

He pulled my shoulder back, making me face him. "Tell me."

"I'm sorry, he's my brother. I felt like i had to," i told him. "But you knew it was wrong," he said. "Yeah i did, and i didn't mean to actually do anything," i said.

"Where is he now, i have to find him," he said looking out the cabin.

"He left. He's gone," i choked out.

"You let him go? Y/n," he said in disbelief.

"Percy... for me to join him.. he promised to not hurt or kill you and he almost did so that's why i pushed him. I pushed my own brother," i told him.

"Is that supposed to change something? You still went with him," he huffed.

"I came here because he told me to. He knew i couldn't do it. He let me go... and left," i said looking down, feeling guilty and ashamed.

"I want to be here with you. I can't betray you. I chose you. I always choose you," i said truthfully.

He looks like he wanted to believe me, but he was still hurt.

"Please... just give me a chance to show you that," i teared up.

"You were going to betray me though... there was no other ending to that. No matter what deal you had for you to join with him," he began.

Percy looked up at me. "Is this what you wanted? How can i trust you now," he teared up.

"You know me, percy. I'm so sorry, I'll do anything to make it up to you, i promise," i said hugging him.

"Just give me time..."
