Dear whomever may read this,

I'm leaving Puerto Rico today. It was a nice summer but I'm not ready to go back home. Going back home means 3 things, living in our old house, seeing Jake, and seeing Gus again. Also I have to redecorate my room, and I'm wayyyy too lazy to do that.

Tia Miranda and Cousin Victoria are driving me to the airport later, I've put off leaving for as long as possible but school starts tomorrow so i have to go back home today. I hope Gabe is doing okay, last I talked to him was last Monday and him and Catalina were in the middle of a fight.

Gus told me a lot has happened back home without me, he got a boyfriend, but they broke up because he was just visiting some family and neither wanted to do long distance. At least he's moved on from Mason, he was such a dick, even moved away to prove it. Meanwhile I'm stuck trying to move on from the same guy, in my defense moving on from your first relationship is very hard. Hopefully I'll be okay.

I have to go now, Victoria is yelling at me to get in the car cause we're gonna be late. She thinks I'm writing a song about Puerto Rico cause I'm writing in my songbook, but truthfully I'm just killing time.

Next time i write in here is probably gonna be while I'm back home so yeah. Bye

heyyy! I know she's a bit short but she wasn't meant to be 1,000 words long. I changed the prologue to be a little diary session so we can see a bit of Cora's thought process since she has to go back home.
