"So what are you doing here?" You looked at the masked hero with a stern face wondering who she really was underneath her mask. 

Ladybug immediately gave a small smile, "Chat asked me to check up on you." She replied politely, both her hands cuffed together behind her.

"Oh, how sweet." You smirked,

"Sure is." She said as she rolled her eyes awkwardly.

"So what was all of that?" You asked, holding your arms close to your chest. "...Those little creatures, the weird butterflies or ladybugs that came swirling around all the buildings?"

"Oh uh there was an Akuma attack near one of the apartment complexes." She stuttered, trying to get the sentence out smoothly since you caught her off guard.

"Does this happen all the time?" You questioned the girl, her expression became more unsettled as she began to reminisce.

"Pretty much." She nodded and shrugged her shoulders.

"Do you know who would do this?" You asked her, but her posture began to weaken. Tired of the conversation, you could tell she feels annoyed and frustrated.

"Well this man named Hawk Moth, he akumatized civilians when they go through negative emotions."

"Why?" You looked back at her.

"Hmm, to be honest, I don't actually know why..." Ladybug sighed, almost exhausted from her battles with the villain.

"So who got akumatized this time?"

There was worry in her eyes, " 5-year-old twins..." Her head fell.

"Kids! Wow, so he's that desperate." You feel your face wrinkle as confusion takes over; 

I mean, kids... that sounds really weird.

"He sure is, it could happen to anyone. That's why we all have to stay on the bright side of things and try to stay optimistic." She advised,

Yup, that shouldn't be too hard...

"Spoken like a true hero." You giggled as you felt the soft breeze hit your bare skin.

"What is it like..." You muttered causing the wide-eyed girl to catch your attention. "you know, always saving the city?"

"Well it's scary, holding the responsibility of people's life is a lot to handle." She looked back out to the city, you looked up to the sky.

"Is it hard?" You asked as your head hung high, gazing at the rays of light.

"It's the hardest job I'll say." She said laughing at her own joke.

"I mean if I had the chance..." You paused, "To become a hero, I would always sacrifice my life for people that are in need or the people I love."

"You know (y/n), it isn't as easy as it seems." She tilted her head.

"Well of course it isn't but if I had the chance, The slightest chance... I would give it my all, and knowing I did everything I could... would put me at ease." You confidently spoke to yourself forgetting the girl was still in front of you. Ladybug starts staring at you with a more serious look, she sighed.

"Chat and I try to keep everyone safe, and luckily everything has been working out smoothly." She puts her arms on her hips but quickly shifts back. Her face turns shocked as she sees your eyebrows wrinkle in confusion.

"What is that?" You point at the brown box.

"Uh- nothing." She giggled trying to get your mind off of the little box.

"But you have something in your hand." You approached her, trying to look at what she was hiding.

"It's nothing." She snapped causing you to jump a little bit.

"Um- okay..." You muttered as you looked at her awkwardly.

Ugh, where are you chat?

A couple awkward minutes later, Ladybug spoke.

"What do you think about chat?" Ladybug asked with a smirk and a hint of curiosity.

You look away and start to blush a little, "I love him."

"Um, what?" You quickly turn to Ladybug. Your eyes widen and your face completely turns pink. You parted your lips to say something, ladybug giggled.

"Not like that! It's just the way he acts. It's so natural and free, and I love it. I just wish I could be him once in a while." You hesitated to say, your face fell as you looked down at your feet.

"I can tell Chat cares for you." Ladybug smiled,

Ugh, why do I feel like this? I've said this many times but I just met him.

"huh?" You snapped your head up.

"Chat noir cares for you." She softly said placing her hand on your shoulder.

I mean I heard her the first time but... huh?

"But I just met him." You said calmly.

"I don't know, he hardly asks for favors from me. You're probably important to him, you must've caught his eye. I'm just glad he's moving on, I've never seen him so hyper and excited about anyone other than me like that." Ladybug smiled.

"So you must be the one who rejected him." You look at her with a sneer expression.

"It wasn't really a 'rejection' for him but more of an eye-opener." She nervously rubbed her elbow.

"So I've heard." You glared at her, eyeballing her flaws.

"Ladies, ladies, ladies no need to fight over me. There's enough of me for both of you." A smile grows on your face when you hear Chat's sarcastic and charming tone. You look at Chat and see his smile appear when he looks into your eyes.

"What took you so long?" Ladybug quickly walked towards Chat noir leaving you alone.

"My kwami decided to take his sweet time." Chat chuckled but ladybug didn't seem amused.

She leaned in close to Chat, you can tell she is whispering something in his ear. She comes back annoyed with a serious face, "This is the last favor I'm ever doing for you. EVEN if you beg." Ladybug says strictly. Her earrings began to beep, alerting her that her time was coming to an end. "Okay, I have to go. You got it from here right?"

"Ya, I'll take her home."

"Bug out!" Ladybug yelled out as she swung into the darkness. Chat watched the dark-haired girl runoff, his smile quickly disappearing.

"I hear you speak highly of me." You smirked teasing him trying to lift his mood.

"Who wouldn't Purrinces?" He leans in close, but you playfully pushed him away.

"Ha! Many people actually." You flicked his bell.

"Shall we?" He puts out his hand reaching for yours. You looked into his perfect eyes glistening in the night sky.

"We shall" You took his hand, he pulls you in as he moves his hand placing it on your waist. You rest your head on his chest, you begin to sink into his embrace feeling a familiar comfort, "I won't fall right?"

"Don't worry, You won't fall just yet." He smirks,

"We'll see about that little kitty." You joked underneath his chin.

You instructed Chat how to get home, and with a couple of jumps and free-falling later you arrived.

"There that one." You pointed to a big window showcasing your room.

The boy quietly enters through your window and gently puts you down, "Well thank you for the ride."

"No problem" Chat put his hands behind his back and began to inspect your room.

He walked around your room but before he takes another step he found the cardboard boxes neatly stacked in the corner. "So you're new to Paris?"

"Yes, I just moved here actually. Adrien didn't tell you?" You took a seat on the edge of your bed as you eyed the masked hero walking around your room.

"No, he didn't tell me much but to keep an eye on you until you got home safely." He shrugged his shoulder.

"Did he tell you why?" You questioned catching Chat off guard, he paused.

"He just didn't want you walking alone at night." The boy turned around, you bit back a smile.

"But ladybug told me that you wouldn't stop yapping about the 'new girl' , which is me." You tilted your head thinking about your conversation with Ladybug, Chat sat beside you.

"I didn't tell her that you were 'new', I just kept talking about how amazing you are of course." He beamed with a simper as his head tilted he held his cheek in his hand.

"mhm." You mumbled, "Nice joke, kitty."

"You haven't unpacked?" He asked,

"No, I haven't had the time." You sighed as you fell back onto the bed.

"I'll help you unpack." He squealed with excitement, he looked down at you.

"I think It's too late for tonight." You denied.

"I'll come back tomorrow then." He quickly insisted, you smiled.

"Oh, will you really? You would put Paris on hold so you could help a girl you just met today unpack?" You knitted your eyebrows together, the boy laid next to you. You looked at him, only inches away from him.

"Only for you princess." He wheeled.

Suddenly there was a pause, the room falling silent. No one said a word, you watched his eyes flutter towards your lips.

You softly smiled trying not to ruin the moment. "Well alright then, I'll see you tomorrow kitty."

"Okay... I'll see you tomorrow (y/n)" He gently rubbed your cheek. Pushing a strand of hair behind your ear, he smiled.

Chat noir softly got up and made his way towards the window. Before exiting he turns his head back to say something.

"Bye Chat." You spoke, cutting him off from whatever he was going to say.

Chat gave you a tender smile and with that, he jumped out of the window.

Minutes passed by as you stared at the ceiling remember his fond smile. You softly put your hand on your chest, feeling your heartbeat. You couldn't stop smiling until you heard a buzz coming from your backpack.

You quickly jumped out of bed and searched through your backpack for your phone.

Shortly after searching, you found your phone at the bottom of the bag.

You quickly unlocked your phone, eager to see the notification.

It's a message from Adrien

Before opening the message, you hopped it into bed.

I'm going to stop putting a lot of inner dialogue *your thoughts*, I just feel like it's kind of irritating for you to read.

2 QUESTIONS I NEED HELP WITH, SO HELP.

Do you guys allow cursing?

Because I kind of had a friendly interaction with one with someone and she said (it was a kid's show, and it sounds stupid.) personally I don't think it's a big deal because it a fanfic but I need to hear it from you guys thats its fine.

Is there anything, in particular, you want to see in my book? Any scene? anything? Or anything you want me to change? I am open to criticism.
