𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗿𝘁𝗲𝗲𝗻

Luisa and Adira arrived at the scene to find a bunch of men in black and full faces masks carrying Lukas out the van. They hid behind a Bush watching the action trying to make a plan.

" Looks like they knocked Lukas out again and they're going to put him in that van. I'm going to sneak to take the driver to the hospital. Then I'll come back give you a signal then we'll attack. Then you'll take those 3 guys on the right and I'll take the 4 on the left. " Luisa said as she switched on her voice modifier and Adira did the same.

Luisa quickly crawled across the road to the flipped over truck where the severely injured driver was, lucky for her she was wearing her gloves. She pulled him out of the wreckage, dusted off the glass and checked for a pulse. It was faint but it was there, that's the important part. She put his arm over her shoulder and teleported him to the Central City General and put him on a bed in the ER then teleported back to Adira.

" Let's go." Luisa said before the two girls pounced on the men in black.

Luisa used her powers to stop the bullets and throw them back hitting them as Adira shot her arrows and dodged bullets. Luisa used her powers to throw two of the men into the van knocking them out as Adira shot an arrow into a guys leg and kicking him hard in the head knocking them out.

Then all of a sudden a man with a weird looking gun, no it was a gun with tech, alot of it. He started firing some sort of energy at the two girls, they quickly shielded themselves behind the doors of the flipped over van.

" What the hell is that?!" Adira questioned.

"I don't know!" Luisa responded as she took a quick peek at what the man was doing now.

Then she saw, him. Lukas Snart had woken up and he was pissed.

" I know you're there! Might as well come out so I can finish the job!" Ice Storm taunted.

"Guys what's happening?!" Alex asked on the comns.

"Lukas just woke up!"

" What! Get out of there." He demanded as his sister rolled him eyes.

" Alex we'll be fine." Adira assured before launching out of the spot they were hiding in and shooting the man with the gun in the leg before kicking him, knocking him out.

" Adira get back here!" Luisa whisper yelled into the comns.

"Phantom I got him, wait where's Ice..." Adira started before turning around and seeing Ice Storm ready to attack.

In that moment it felt like everything slowed down. All Luisa could think of was protecting Adira so she did. She sprung up from her place and tackled Adira just as Ice Storm shot, hitting Luisa instead of Adira, there she was on the ground with an icicle in the side of her of her waist.

" Shit! Shit... shit! Phantom are you ok?!" Adira panicked as Luisa grunted in pain.

" It was nice kicking your asses." He snickered.

" I swear to God I'm going to kill you!" Adira snapped as she held Luisa as tears streaked down her eyes.

" But your friend, Phantom? Won't be alive to see it. Bye foxy bitches!" He smiles before entering the passenger side of the van and drove off.

"Guys get the med bay ready. Luisa's hurt. Real bad!" She stuttered into the comns.

Luisa used the last of her energy to teleport the two just outside the Cabin.

" Come on Lu. Stay with me." Adira begged as she dragged Luisa across the ground to the cabin with Luisa's arm over her shoulder, she was almost unconscious and was trying her hardest to stay awake but her eye lids were getting heavier by the second.

"Oh God Lu!" Cassie stammered when she saw the state of her best friend.

"What happened?!" Emma questioned as she took Luisa from Adira.

"Ice Storm was going to shoot me then she jumped and took the ice for me." Adira stuttered as she tried to hold in the tears.

Adira Queen wasn't the type of person to get so emotional but this exact moment brought back memories from her past.

" She did?" Alex questioned, he wanted her to protect his sister but he didn't want this to happen.

" Yeah. God this is all my fault." She mumbled as she followed Emma to the Med Bay.

She placed her on one of the hospital beds and put on a pair of gloves.

" Ok Luisa, I love you girl but it's going to hurt like a bitch." Emma stated.

"Do it!"

Emma gently placed her hand around the icicle and slowly started to pull it out but before she could make any progress Luisa screamed in agony.

" Make the pain stop." She cried as Adira, Bailey and Cassie came beside her bed.

" Lu. Listen you're a badass you can do this okay I know you can. We're right here. All of us are." Bailey assured as she squeezed her hand, some how making her calm down.

Emma placed her hand on the icicle once again and started pulling, it wasn't that deep though, that's the good part. Surprisingly Luisa didn't scream or grunt or do anything. She just sat there and took deep breaths.

A few minutes later Emma had finished doing the Surgery on Luisa and she was currently sleeping on the hospital bed. Everyone was currently by the monitors looking for Ice Storm, everyone but Adira. She was currently letting off some steam.

" Guys its official we've lost Ice Storm. Luisa's tracker has been deactivated " Alex stated with disappointment.

There were a bunch sighs and grunts of frustration. A member of their team was down and they lost the person that lost her. Cassie left the group in search of Adira and eventually found her punching the punching bag.

" Hey..." Cassie greeted.

"Hey..." She returned.

" Are you okay about the whole Snart thing." She asked the brunette.

" Are you sure that I'm the person you should be asking?" Adira replied bluntly.

" Yes, I'm asking you because you watched a friend of yours get hurt. It does something to you."

" It wouldn't be the first time." She mumbled making Cassie furrow her eyebrows.

" What?"

" About a year ago when I spent the summer in Starling, my friends and I were in a cab and we got hit by a drunk driver. Diana and Maisie both died and I barely survived." Adira started.

"Oh my God I'm so sorry." Cassie comforted.

" Then I hunted down the drug driver and killed him." Adira concluded bluntly.

" Oh my." Cassie responded before letting out a small chuckle.

"Its not your fault okay. You couldn't have know that he would've done that. Luisa is going to be okay." Cassie encouraged before Adira hugged her.

" Thanks." Adira said in the hug.

" Since when do you hug." Cassie beamed with a smile.

" You softies are rubbing off on me." Adira responded

" Yeah well you're still a badass who is a great hugger." Cassie stated as they released from the hug.

"Let's go to the others." Adira suggested as she took off the boxing gloves, linked arms with Cassie and marched to the brief room.

A member of their team

May have gotten hurt

But at that moment

They weren't just a team

they were a family
