𝘪. blue valley, nebraska; the home to a small portion of america and the town where nothing happens. No murders, no robberies no crimes. The police are redundant at this point, that's what most people say at least. That's exactly why peyton whitmore loved it there. In blue valley she had the opportunity to disappear and just be herself. Not Courtney whitmore's copy paste sister, not the black sheep daughter of Barbara Whitmore. In this town she could just be herself, without her sister she was at peace.

𝘪𝘪. According to most, it's peytons fault that the Whitmore girls aren't sisterly. According to most, Courtney is the kindest out of the twins but in reality she was just as nasty as people assumed Peyton was. In short Peyton was the kinder, more genuine and compassionate sister between the two. Over the years Courtney had just screwed up Peytons reputation to the point where people were either afraid of her or hated her.

𝘪𝘪𝘪. And as she got older, she stopped giving a shit and loved her own life. Where her sister did gymnastics she did MMA and Art, where her sister failed in school she scored top achiever. But the one place she stopped trying to score better than her in was with their mother.

𝘪𝘷. Now don't get me wrong, Barbara Whitmore is an absolute sweetheart but when it came to her daughters she had unknowingly had her favorite, they both did. So what happens when your entire family has picked the more manipulative sister and your dad is non existent. You drive down to your grandmothers home to visit your actual friends.

𝘷. That's exactly what she's been doing since she came to visit her grandmother with her mom at the age of eight years old. During her month in BV she had the privilege of meeting the best people she has ever known. They weren't judgy or mean or nasty at all. They were genuine people.

𝘷𝘪. So that became Peyton's routine, every year she'd spend the summer in Blue Valley. Making new and amazing friends in this small town.

𝘷𝘪𝘪. So you can imagine how excited she was to hear that she was moving to said town with her new dad and brother much to Courtney's disliking.

𝘷𝘪𝘪𝘪 But Peytons hopes and dreams of a happy last few years of high school will be crushed when she discovers the true secrets and horrors of the place she called her home.

𝘪𝘹 Not to mention the lies and secrets that are in her own family about herself.

𝘹 So what happens when the Whitmore's move to Blue Valley in hopes for a fresh start but Peyton and her friends discover the worst things about this town and it's people?
