hi, hello, 안녕. 

so i'm actually going to keep this short and sweet. i'll start off with friday and what happened after school, then move on to saturday, and then sunday :) 

someone suggested i should do this, so here i am, haha 

friday right after school, my mom told me that i need to pack for my grandma's (i'll be referring to her as halmoni bc that's what we call her + i hate the word grandma). obviously, i packed, helped my sister pack, my mom ran some errands for the dogs, and then we were on the road. the car ride to halmoni's is 4-5 hours (which is a good thing !), so we usually stop at a mcdonalds early in the drive, then at a star bucks later in the drive. 

we listened to the superM cd 6 different times, then listened to my mom's eric nam cd, and then she put on "this is stray kids" on spotify. neverending story came on and i started sobbing bc i miss woojin 😎🤙🏻

anyways ! we got to halmoni's at 10 illinois time (11 our time). we ate some korean food and then my little sister and i played mario kart on the ds. that was basically it for friday. 

saturday was a bit more wild. we ate the leftovers from the night before for breakfast, then got ready for the day. if you want to know what i wore, i wore a green and gray twenty one pilots shirt with dark blue jeans + vans lol. my little sister wore her superM baekhyun hoodie. 

anyways ! (lmao.) we went to the st. louis aquarium and the ferris wheel. both were pretty awesome experiences. the aquarium was my favorite because i got to pet cownose rays 🥺 they're so cute oml. it was freezing cold outside tho, so we did our best to stay warm. 

we got back to halmoni's at 7pm-ish and then we ate some more korean food, and then played mario kart lol. 

sunday was, um... yeah. 

every time we come over, my halmoni always makes us attend her church. it's a different kind of church from the one we usually attend, so i never really enjoy it. it makes me uncomfortable. like, it all seems so generic and fake ? idk. who am i to judge tho amirite. 

well this time, i especially did. not. enjoy. it. 

they have two screens up in the front of the service room, and they have a lot of information about what's going on with the church throughout the week. 

one of them especially caught my eye. 

it said, "bible study: human sexuality & how to fix it." 

let me just- 

"& how to fix it." 

i was internally screaming the WHOLE TIME. i told my sister abt it in the car (she knows i like both guys & girls) and she was offended too. i don't think she saw it or was even paying attention when we were in there. 

okay so after church, we went back and we ate. jade and i played more mario kart, and then halmoni made us tteokbokki before leaving. we packed, and we left at 2pm illinois time, 3pm our time. 

it was my mom's turn for music in the car, so we listened to the tablo podcast lol. god bless eddy btw. we stopped and got strawberry shakes from mcdonald's (i highly recommend) and then got home at 8:30pm. 

so there we have it :)) 

side note: while we were gone, bubba chewed up a stuffed fox i got from wolf park, so i just ended up giving it to him when i got home.
