THE CAFÉ was rarely busy.

There was a time people spent every moment they could within those walls, but as years went on and the hunger for money increased, everyone forgot about that little-hole-in-a-wall.

Well, almost everyone.

Even if that everyone was only Julian. You see, he adored the little café. It became his haven from the first time he visited it. To him, there was something special about its homey atmosphere and delicious jam donuts.

He would always make sure to take his school work there or just simply enjoy the peace with a cup of hot chocolate for the silence there could not complete with any other place in Lorhnite. The tranquillity would only be interrupted when the occasional customer turned in for whatever they would want.

And it was on one certain occasion that he met a certain bright-eyed girl.

At first, he didn't take much note to the ringing doorbell--a sound which he had completely gotten used to--and merely continued finishing up an essay about 'The Origin of Tea'.

Quite boring, but still worth the extra credit.

Well, back to the tale. So there he was, typing furiously on his laptop when a strong scent of coffee followed by a light tap on his shoulder, forced him to turn, only to come face to face with a smiling girl.

"Hello", she chirped, a smile on her face. "You're in theatre class, right?"

Julian nodded, closing his laptop, "Oh, yeah, I am. You must be...Remi? If I remember correctly."

The girl laughed, nodding, taking the seat that was opposite to him, "Yes, I'm Remi, Remi Jensen. You're Julian, I think?"

"Yeah", he smiled, "So, are you, uh, excited about the upcoming play? They haven't revealed what it is yet, so I'm really curious."

"Mhm, I wonder what it could be," Remi took a sip of her coffee. "There are so many possibilities."
